The ice cream is great! They have a wide variety of scoops and scoops are large!One of the chairs outside was broken and someone feel off and skinned their elbow. The tables look very used up, but it was nice to sit outside as that is the only place to sit.Candy selection is also pretty impressive.

Stop there for the first time today and it was GREAT! They had candy that I remember from being a little kid and a large assortment of salt water Taffy. Their prices were very reasonable I feel and the ice cream was great. The staff was very friendly and quick. Definitely will be going back soon.

It is a great place it has old time candy I had when I was growing up that you cant find in other stores & it has pop in glass bottles & has fun bottles the pop comes in which is great too. It has great ice cream & I love that you can choose the type of cone the ice cream goes in especially cause I can choose the waffle cone

The best candy and ice cream shop in iowa. They got candy that you havent seen since you where a kid and regular candy as well. They have a wide range on soda pop. And there ice cream, shakes, malts, cones, and cup is the best around. What makes even better you can sit outside and socialize with the community. The prices are great as well.il recommend this to any one and everyone.

Great choices for single or double scoop ice cream. Cherry Amaretto is my favorite. I think the best thing about their ice cream, is they seem to have the freezers set super cold. Yes the outside of your ice cream starts to melt, but on the inside, its still frosty cold, just the way I like it.

Like a kid walking into a candy store by surprise!!! Thought we were going in for ice cream, ended up with a nostalgic trip back to my childhood!!! All the good candy I could never afford as a young child!

It was a great experience! A cute little shop, with a distinct variety of candy and glass bottle sodas. I got a puppy chow ice cream shake, which was just as delicious as it sounds. We were greeted warmly at the door by the attendant, who gave us a brief verbal tour of the location. All in all it was a good visit, and Ill definitely be going back. Ill be sure and recommend it to friends as well!

The ice cream is better than DQ IMHO. You can find all the old school candy you can think of, and many more you never knew existed. There are at least 4 cooler doors dedicated to old school, and craft soda, only down side is parking is in short supply, and off a busy road. Still a must see when in Boone.
