Tara was kind and super helpful with our storage reservation! Even though things were hectic with our movers arriving she was able to set us up with the right amount of space in the right spot.

Such a better experience than the U-Haul across the street. Tara was great! Friendly, super helpful and easy to talk through all my needs. I was in and out in 30 minutes, seamless process. Highly recommend if you need a little self storage spot in Boston area!

I rented a cube for my son to store his musical equipment, Massachusetts Ave. Malcolm was able to guide me and help with the process! Excellent for a mom who lives on the other side of the US.

Tara Bovell, is perhaps the worst Manager ive encountered in my time living at Boston. She was rude, mean and also discriminatory. I speak 4 languages and lived in different countries, and i have never encountered with someone asking me if I can understand english, because we cannot assume and then letting their staff yelled at my roommates and I multiple times telling us things like Hurry up! and You are wasting your time doing it this way! all of the staff, from Tara to the other two people working there were absolutely horrendous and mean. I had to call the Regional Manager because it was the most uncomfortable situation. If you can, avoid this place at all costs.

The staff is very courteous & helpful. The building & storage units that I saw were very clean.

Went here pretty last minute not knowing anything about renting storage. The manager Malcolm Johnson went through every piece of the process with me to make sure I knew what I was doing and I was comfortable with what I was paying for. Another employee Antonio Oliver took his time and showed me several units after I found something wrong with the first 2 (did I mention Im very picky?). All in all although I was nervous about the location the 2 guys that helped me made me extremely comfortable to the point where I had no interest in renting any where else. I never leave reviews but they were so great I had to ask for their full names to leave one. Keep up the great customer service!!

Extremely rude staff!! I was conducting a move with a family member across the country and the manager Tara was so rude to us. She was rude on each phone call and even at one point had the audacity to tell us she did not believe who we said we were and hung up on us. It was not your typical move as it was with an elderly woman and a family member across the country but there was no understanding of those circumstances even though it was communicated 4+ times. Completely do NOT recommend using this place. I also advise that the company train their managers to be courteous and helpful rather than the experience I had. Such a BAD experience.

I have much admiration and appreciation for the respective staff here. The Manager especially, always makes me feel comfortable and offers value added service when I walk through those doors. This behavior trickles down to staff who follows her lead. Though I look forward to extended hours, Im grateful to the staff that make every visit that much more enjoyable.

I would highly recommend to spend your money at UHAUL or ANYWHERE else other than CUBESMART. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, & unless you want to deal with the managers (TARA BOVILL’S) miserable attitude whenever you need to visit your storage unit then this is NOT the place to Store !

Great staff. Clean facilities. Very security minded. Easy drive up for drop-off and pickup.

Access hours are severely limited because of the clientele in the neighborhood, which is problematic. But the facility is clean and the front desk staff is helpful.

Charles is Very Knowledgeable about the products and services available, very comforting and compassionate throughout the entire transaction, Charles was patient with me from the grand tour of the unit to even confidently answering the many questions I asked him. I am very impressed with the level of service I received and the exceeding confidence in storaging my personal belongings at this facility. I have mentioned several of my friends and family to speak with him directly to find the best solution for their need.

Went to the cubesmart on mass ave brianna tyler, devonte jackson and the manager mike was extremely professional and helpful. All exceeded my expectations and the security guard was even cool. Informative and polite....all went well also we went back to move out of the unit and it was a breeze. Fast and easy.

I am impressed with the professional customer service at this CubeSmart on Mass. Ave in Boston, and the emphasis on security. I feel quite safe when there by myself. Recently I wanted to downsize my unit, they put me on a waiting list, I received a call within two days that the size I wanted was available. They had all my paperwork completed in a couple of minutes and sent it all to me after the fact electronically. Very efficient and friendly.

I spent 5K for storage and they sold my stuff including personal paperwork with SS card etc!!! They told me they are going to sell it and i tried to pay but i had to go in person and I was away in another state because of covid. Never will use them again

Casey was invaluable in assisting us today! This is an extremely busy time in Boston. Casey was super knowledgeable about her location and Boston. She showed us what she had available, explained the policies at her location and when she couldnt meet our needs based on availability she took the time to locate another CubeSmart location that met our needs and arranged everything. She saved us money and provided excellent customer service! I would not hesitate to recommend Casey, CubeSmart or Karina at the Rutherford location in the Charlestown area of Boston. A++!!

We had scheduled for moving using SML and they showed up without a truck and we almost had a heart attack as we had to leave the country next day early in the morning . We called up Andy from cube smart and told him about the situation and he was very helpful and found us a truck at last minute and booked everything on our behalf . He also get the storage ready for unloading even before i arrived to make sure things can move faster for us . we cant express how thankful we were and i would say their service is excellent !!

Pleasant people but the city has restricted access because people were living in their cubes. The lease doesnt specify access hours so basically if you have your stuff here youre screwed. Find another place to store your goods.

I especially want to commend the Cube Smart staff at the Mass Ave location in Boston for continued service and support I have received from Michael and Brianna over the past 10 months. I rented the space in October 2017 with the assistance of Michael who had just moved to this location. I went overseas for a long period of time and sometimes had difficulty submitting my payment in a timely matter but with the cooperation and efficiency of these two my matters where always handled efficiently. If cubesmart gas employees like Michael and Brianna in all there locations, this company is A1 in my book and will continue to prosper. Thank You for your service.

My business used CubeSmart for two months while we moved offices, and they are excellent. They worked with me and let us use their moving truck to move in, our items were safe and when we moved out, they took care of everything and even emailed the final receipts!Emanuel and Gloribi, the two CubeSmart employees we worked with, were helpful and professional and I would be happy to use the services of the company again anytime.

Very helpful and kind staff! The location is perfect for college students in Boston, like myself.

Price is ok for storage compared to where I’m coming from, but facilities could use a good make over. Definitely not a safe place to be around at night time since I saw a lot of junkies hanging around when I was moving my stuff in last night (inside and around the facility). Not planning on storing here for long for these reasons.

I recently made a reservation here, I ended up picking another CubeSmart closer to me but I just needed to write a review because the sweetest girl (Bryanna) called to confirm the reservation with me. First off she was so quick to give me a call. I had so many questions and she answered all of them for me. Because I decided to pick a location closer, she made sure to call the other location to let them know I was on my way. She was so helpful if you ever need anything at the Mass Ave location make sure to talk to Bryanna!

This is our first time using CubeSmart Self Storage for our boys college storage over the summer. The customer service was overall very helpful and the overall process was very clear and easy. We will would highly recommend CubeSmart.

I have been a customer here at this location for many years and how i like the friendly service and the attention the workers pay due to everyday issues that might happen. I also give a special shout out to Shione who ive know since the day she started there and how she treats every customer the same. With a friendly smile and how helpful she is to everyone who needs help here.

My son is a college student and needed a storage unit for the summer. Cube Smart is the perfect answer. The units are clean and have easy access. Luis and Shione were so helpful and easy to work with. We were able to purchase packing supplies. The box truck and carts were perfect for moving large items. Everything was going wrong with my moving day until I went to Cube Smart on Mass Ave. The manager, Mickel, was helpful, patient and friendly! (its amazing what a difference a friendly customer service person can make in your day). If youre looking for storage, avoid the uhaul headaches and go here!

Homeless and addicts flood the basement floor. They OD all the time here, and the company does nothing about it.They change the time of access for the storage units, did not send out an email or contact their customers to inform them.The customer service staff and managers are rude, impolite and lack basic people skills. They are not helpful and trigger instead of de-escalate their customer issues.They put an extra lock on your unit when it is however many days late in payment- even if you were not able to access your unit or the office to cancel your contract and remove your belongings before the month was up!! And then force you to pay late fees for a mistake/lack of communication on their behalf!They are disgusting. I wish i never rented here. Several breaches in contract, they are a HORRIBLE company.

The lady in the pink was wonderful and helpful. She was more helpful than jack sacrificing the door space for Rose. I am feeling safe and protected by the love and support from the employees. If this was a Bollywood movie I guarantee they would have broke out in a dance as I was driving away..... Just found out the women in the pink name its jessica thats the one who did the great work !

I have a unit rented at the Cube Smart on Mass Ave for 275 dollars a month! One day I go there to remove some furniture and notice that my queen size pillow top, and two twin mattresses were filled with rodent dropping’s, I had to throw them away! I was there yesterday 7-11-18 and there were 10 homeless people living in their units just on one floor, there was human feces on the stairs, urine soaked floor. Some of the boxes I removed from the unit smell like they have been stored in a chain smokers house! Now the store manager and district manager are refusing to pay for my damaged mattresses! The district manager is also giving me a hassle to reimburse me money! People who are looking for a storage unit I will advise not to rent from here rent from the Uhaul across the street.

Manager was very friendly and answered any questions I had. She also understood my urgency and was able to process everything in a timely manner.

Convenient location and the employees here are helpful and professional. Bryanna assisted me when I had to upgrade my storage unit and everything was simple and quick, unlike when I went through the process about a year ago and it wasnt a pleasant experience.Unfortunately the place isnt in a good area at all, I think Marty Walsh is secretly trying to create a Zombie army based in the Boston Medical Center vicinity to send out on the streets of Boston to terrorize the citizens. I suspect theyre spliced with Gremlin DNA because everytime it rains there seem to be about 25 more added to the collective the Boston police are always herding between highway ramps and Roundtree motel.

I dont really like this place,but I have things that are in storage that I need to get out they very expensive.I am adding to this review due to a phone call that I received todayJANUARY 3,2019 stating that I have money that is still I was told that it is 6 days old.I just recently paid on my 2 storages,but was told that their was an increase. I was going to pay the difference but was told it would be waived one time only. Now I am being told on today that this is not the case. I had planned on getting my things out of storage by May 2019,but I hope to do it sooner.

Cubesmart has awesome customer service. I have had a much better experience with them than with uhaul. The staff over at cubesmart are very attentive to my needs and they stand at attention when I walk in, which reminds me of my military days. :)
