Fjallraven has wonderful outdoor clothing that is unique in the U.S., and you will simply not find at North Face or Patagonia. Some of their styles are a bit quirky. But generally they make high quality, good looking, functional apparel for the outdoors. Think “L.L. Bean”, but Scandinavian. They are a little on the expensive side. But you get what you pay for. They have a great warranty on all their stuff and great service, which are also considerations. I highly recommend stopping by.
Nice, higher end clothes with amazingly helpful and accommodating staff!
If you’re looking for hiking or outdoor wear, look somewhere else. The pants didn’t work out for me (which happens), I’m sure the material works for others, but the return policy is the worst in the industry. Not only do you need the tags, but you’re not even able to have “tried them on”. No refunds for any worn pants. Just shop at REI, North Face, Arcteryx, etc for a real outdoor store experience. I wouldn’t at all consider this an outdoor store.
Best outdoor store ever. Yes it can be pricy in some areas, but the quality is 100% there and all jackets, apparel, and gear perform at a high level. If you buy a bar of their wax and bring them your jacket, they will put on a wax coating for free, which helps with water resistance. I have done this for my jacket each year and it still looks new! Everyone is super friendly, product is stylish, and the store is really cool inside.
Beautiful store with extremely helpful staff. Great wears too and not at the exorbitant prices that some competitors charge.
The employees are so nice! They’re not pushy and they actually give you space and time to browse their products. Cozy feeling, small collection which isn’t bothersome. Would go here again! :)
Amazing staff. Rachel and the guy (damn I forget his name) were so awesome and helpful. Felt like we were long lost friends. It was great to try on clothes Ive only seen online before. Thanks guys!
Really nice staff who helped me pick out a really nice winter jacket! Pricey but you get what you pay for, very high quality!
Fjällräven jackets sell themselves, but that doesnt stop the sales associates from making sure you feel welcome and comfortable trying on their merchandise. The staff was so friendly that we spent most of the time chatting while they helped us decide from their selection of coats (which are all so nice theyre impossible to choose from). The coats are a bit on the expensive side but will last you decades and keep you impossibly warm during those cold Boston winters.
Amanda was super helpful, and we found a great color for my friend . Definitely check it out !
They dont stand behind their products. I bought a backpack from them and they said they would take it back within 30 days. I brought it back because it was uncomfortable, which I could only know from wearing it, and then they said they wouldnt take it back for that reason. Ive experienced other companies that have actual return policies that take back their products if within the return period. Will not shop here again, will go for a different brand that actually backs their products. Also, the store manager told me that the backpack shouldnt be uncomfortable because it has padding after I had told her it was. Unprofessional and I suggest you look elsewhere for backpacks.
Awesome staff and selection, and really stylish products. The customer support was great and they wax jackets for free in-store. Highly recommended if you are looking for outdoorsy clothing for the fall/winter season.
High end clothing for outdoor or casual wear. Friendly and helpful staff.
Great store but the prices are up there. Quality of products is very good. Beautiful clothes.
I went to the store this morning to exchange a bag my boyfriend had gotten for me yesterday. I had carried the bag over the store to get a different color and that was the extent to which I had used the bag (for a 15 min. walk I was carrying the bag in my hand). I got to the store and a young lady who claimed she is the store manager looked at the bag, asked when I had gotten the bag, and after I told her I got it as a gift the night before, she blatantly went ahead and said, no, this bag has marks on it and looks like its been used, implying that I was lying to her and interestingly, also implying that the store sells bags that to the store manager look used (since I had not used the bag). I explained to her a few times that I had gotten it the night before and she kept refusing to accept my word. I had all the tags, but not the receipt and she even went as far as saying to me, you havent paid for this bag! just because I didnt have the receipt on me and was just asking to get a different color. I think when you are paying $150 for a bag, you should at least be allowed to just exchange it for a different color the next day and not being accused of not having paid for the bag if you dont have a receipt. She refused to look it up in the system with the credit card which was used to purchase the bag and when I went over to take a look at the other colors, she went ahead and simply assumed that I will take a bag and leave the store. She came up to me aggressively and said, I swear if you take a bag and leave the store, Ill call the cops on you. I said I wont leave the store until she addresses the problem and she said she will call the cops and pretended to have done so (although I dont think she did since I called 911 myself and filed a complaint against her accusations). She was also very inconsistent in her explanations about why she wouldnt let me have a different color. First, she said the bag has marks, then she said its store policy that wont take returns without a receipt (although I had asked for an exchange and not a return). She then stopped talking to me and wouldnt answer any of my questions about the product, its price, or whether or not she had actually called the cops. I am very sorry that both I and she had to go through all of this just because I was taking a bag that I had gotten the night before and asking for a different color! I would not recommend this specific store to anyone, given the horrible service.
I buy all my fan gear here. Low prices and nice staff.
Looked everywhere to replace tactical pants from an old, old surplus store that were nearly irreplaceable... Until now! And with major upgrades!
They wouldn’t let me exchange a gift (in their plastic product bag with all tags) for a different item without receipt. Best of luck to them dealing with Christmas returns... I was very frustrated being stuck with a gift I didn’t like. Also, it doesn’t say anywhere on their website that you need a receipt for an exchange.
Awesome Collection. Would love to be back. Except the Salesgirl at the store was ready to bill me the sample piece which was dusty. Which she herself was cleaning with her hands. Its a $185 dollar bag (which is one of the expensive ones in the store) When I requested her a new piece, she reluctantly went to the store and got me. I requested to check if there is a specific colour that I was looking for. She was clearly disinterested. Clear example of great products and very bad service
Pants are cheaper than some other technical hiking clothes, comfortable, lots of pockets, waterproof after wax treatment (cant speak as to their other products as I have not tried them). Staff are friendly and informative.
Top notch shop with a top notch staff! Spent over an hour in here shopping the other day. Ken and Leonard were very approachable, knowledgable and willing to answer all of my questions about Fjallraven product. These guys are real pros.
Wonderfull store were you can get recicled and beautifull backpacks which are made of plastic bottles. So help this planet. Great things
Good materials, lifetime warranty, friendly service at the counter.
Friendly & helpful staff!
Very friendly staff, great store for anyone who loves the outdoors.
Friendly staffs, Id love to shop here again.
Extremely kind staff who are very knowledgeable about their products. Expect products to be >$100.
Great product, beautiful store, friendly employees. Currently gunning for a third Kånken.
Quality coats and backpacks. A bit pricy, but worth it.
Super
