Recently purchased our second vehicle from Pollard Jeep in Boulder, and what a strange experience compared to the first. A lot of confusion, miscommunication, and back and forth between staff, but we finally agreed on a deal with an agreement to a we owe you from the dealership stating they would replace the tires on the Wrangler we were purchasing. Felt a little weird at the time of signing due to all the back and forth, but we were reassured 4 times in the sales office that, “We are a small dealership and stand behind our word”. We asked if we could write “new” on the document for clarification and it was approved and added - signed deal.Our Jeep was delivered with old tires, and that we owe you signed document was completely MISSING from our copies. We requested a copy and they promised to send it - - they never sent the copy, but told us they would be putting new tires on. We showed up to have the new tires put on, and the Jeep comes out with smaller rims AND different used tires. Even the spare on the back had rocks in it! Took it into a tire shop the next day because it is now making a bad rubbing sound every time we turn. They verified the tires as used and the documented reason for the rubbing??? Tires are the wrong size for the vehicle (see image). We have been trying to work this out for over a month with no resolve, all documented through text. Pollard has not done the right thing and has now impacted the safety of our vehicle. Would not recommend doing business with this dealership.
Went in for an oil change and ended up sitting down with Jon Slack to discuss end of lease options since that date is coming up for me- could not have asked for a better experience. Jon was super informative about the next steps to take and the options I have when the lease does end. He didnt attempt to push me in any direction and laid out the facts as they were. I can appreciate this level of customer service at any business and it made my trip there much more enjoyable. I would recommend Jon and Pollard Jeep to anyone looking for leasing or buying options on Jeeps.

Pollard Jeep of Boulder is the only Jeep store that I would ever go to again. These guys searched all over the place for the vehicle that I want it and found it. Extremely difficult nowadays because of the lack of parts thanks to COVID. The total experience was completely hassle-free - a lot more than I can say in comparison to others. I got a lot more for my dollats here than other dealerships covering from Castle Rock to Boulder.Thank you Jon the Jeep Guy and Alex from sales in addition to Paul (GM) and Bob (Service Mngr) for being so kind and helpful. Definitely a five-star Jeep dealership.
I really like Pollard of Boulder. They are a smaller dealer compared to others in larger cities but do treat their customers like family. I will say that their service may need a small boost. This is the second time I had my oil changed here and it took over 1.5 hours to get me out of shop. Note I showed up at 0645 to be first in line for QuickLube.Both times Technicians either didnt show up or were late. On both oil changes, the technician forgot to reset my Oil Life Indicator. Not big issues if you are not pressed for time, but attention to detail is a big caveat of mine. Makes me wonder, did they use full Synthetic Oil, did they tighten the drain plug, did they tighten the oil filter, etc... Just something to keep in mind.
Alex Rios and the team were fantastic to work with. Not once did I feel pressured to purchase a car, they did everything they could to make me comfortable during the transaction. Would recommend Pollard Jeep to anyone in the Boulder area.

The folks at Pollard were top notch from start to finish. This was my first experience with their service department and I will be bringing my Grand Cherokee to them from now on. Carrie was helpful and communicative and Kyle did a great job diagnosing and fixing the issues with my Jeep. Pricing was fair and work was completed on time.
This was by far the best car buying experience we have ever had. We found the truck online in the morning and by that evening (after working a full day) we owned our new Toyota Tacoma. I think it was less than 3 hours from getting to the lot to driving away. Gabe was exceptionally friendly, connected with us around family and didnt try to upsell anything. We never had to go into the finance guys office, never had to wait for Gabe to talk to his manager. Literally we walked in, met a great guy and walked out with the truck that we were looking for at the price we wanted to pay.

I haven’t personally bought a vehicle from here (yet), but I have to give a huge compliment to Zach, the salesperson I spoke with on the phone.I called and let Zach know that I’m thinking of upgrading from my Cherokee to a Wrangler Rubicon, but am not 100% certain yet. Normally, salespeople wouldn’t give you the light of day once they find out you’re not entirely sure about going in on a new vehicle. Zach was not like this at all. He took the time out of his day to talk to me on the phone, evaluate a few Wranglers, discuss my current lease, and give me an honest opinion on what would make the most sense for me.I was so impressed with his patience and knowledge that I felt compelled to write this. Zach - hats off to you. Keep up the great work. I will certainly be visiting Pollard and Zach for my new Jeep in the future!

I took possession of my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland last Saturday, 03/06/21 and drove it back to Albuquerque this past Monday. The Overland drove perfectly, so smooth, comfortable with all the infotainment goodies and excellent gas mileage (23mpg). I am totally pleased with this purchase. Gabriel East, my salesman was awesome. He was very friendly, answered all my questions and responded quickly to my emails, etc. This was an absolute NO Pressure sale which made this an incredibly pleasing experience for me. Pollard has been the best dealership I have ever worked with from a service/customer service perspective - I have had no sales experience there, as the Jeep was purchased elsewhere. It was unfortunate that my Jeep had issues in the first place (no fault of Pollard), but they really went above and beyond to take care of me and get my Jeep back on the road and in tip top shape.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Jake, Jack whatever your name is... (the small military sales guy) was the rudest person I have come across while trying to lease a vehicle. While asking questions he would give me jackass responses and also made my girlfriend feel very uncomfortable. After leaving the establishment he followed us outside and was talking all of this nonsense to himself. My girlfriend and myself felt very intimated and left immediately. This guy has gotta go.

Disappointing service from Pollard. Although they repaired the vehicle in a timely manner, the parts pricing is extortion. They planned to charge nearly $1200 for a part that was available on Mopar.com, THE factory parts site, for $700. They planned to charge over $150 MORE than the MSRP of $1015. I requested the Mopar price of $700 and they adamantly refused. They reluctantly agreed to the MSRP. Outrageous. Buyer beware. Like every dealer, they are not customer friendly.The service personnel were, however, very gracious. But Doug Pollard’s price policy is scandalous.

Fantastic experience! I was very particular about what I wanted and when they couldnt find it, they came up with creative ways around it without making me feel pressured to change my mind or settle for less. I actually got a lot more than I wanted and the price was right. Gabe was excellent and the whole process took about 45 mins from first sight to driving off the lot. Not sure thats standard...but it worked very well for me and my total lack of patience. Highly recommend Pollard for when youre ready for your midlife crisis purchase!

Had a great purchase experience from the beginning to the delivery. Paul, Gabe and Alex made the experience simple. Paul runs the store and came out to work my purchase with me along with the 20 years of Jeep knowledge from my sales representative Gabe. The benefit I liked the most is that you work with one representative from the hello, to the financing/contracting and delivery. 95% of my purchase was worked before I even got to the store. Gabe truly is a pro and he is hilarious.One representative I didnt even work with (Alex) offered to give me a ride to the store for my delivery2 days after my purchase. Team effort!Pollard pricing was very good compared to the other 350 Jeeps in market that I saw. They were one of the only stores whos pricing was below market value on Rubicon Jeeps that were pre-owned. The dealership made a fair profit and I got a fair deal as well. One thing to remember, dealership staff has a family and mouths to feed like us and they deserve to make a fair profit. Recognize when its fair for both and be done. Hope this helps.
No loaner vehicles so outside of routine maintenance dont go here. Now I have no car until the part that is on back order and still needs to be manufactured (thank you covid) comes in. I asked them what I was supposed to do for a car, and they told me that it was basically up to me to figure it out

I had a very positive experience working with Gabe to purchase my new vehicle. On a whim I was looking online for Jeep sales and when I inquired about the Grand Cherokee I received a text from Gabe within an hour just to say that he would reach out the next day (Sunday). This was the easiest vehicle purchase Ive ever done. I had been stalking the Jeep website for a month waiting for the exact Wrangler to show up in stock at a dealer in the Denver area. All of a sudden, three show up a different dealers seemingly on the same day.Pollard sent me a dealer pricing quote through email right away. I spoke with Conor on the phone and he setup a test drive appointment for that afternoon. I hadnt been to a dealer post-covid, so I wasnt sure what to expect and he went over their protocol - meet out front, go over the car, do the test drive. This limits the number of people you interact, but without making the process unworkable. Its definitely different, and I like it more than I expected.As promised, Conor met me out front with the Jeep and went over everything. No pressure or over-selling. Not that it would be been necessary.I had been researching Wrangler JLs for about two months now, so really once I saw it there in all its glory, I was sold. After the test drive, things went quickly and smoothly. Price, financing (Chrysler is offering 0% APR on 36/mo), trade-in, paperwork took about 90 minutes.No negatives with the experience. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable. There was no pressure, no stress.Highly recommended.
Happy Thursday to me! I just needed to share what an amazing experience I had at Pollard Jeep in Boulder. I was skeptical about not having an appointment to get my oil changed and when I called, Josh in the Service Department mentioned to me...when you come in, ask for me, we will get you taken care of. WOW was he right. Very polite, kind and a get-er done personality. Had me in and out in an hour as promised. And to add whipped cream to the Sundae, I scored 2 new license plate bolts to replace mine that were completely rusted and dropping rust drops on my paint. I can say, without a doubt, this will be where I buy my next Jeep Grand Cherokee when its time to trade mine in. Fabulous Dealership - highly recommend.

I bought my first Jeep Wrangler from Pollard this week. I worked with Gabriel throughout the entire process. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and communicative. I was very pleased with the service and plan on working with them in the future!
25 months ago I purchased an oil change package. Three changes for $140. I took my Jeep into Pollard this morning to get the oil changed and have a recall performed. I picked up the Jeep this evening. Im sure the oil change is fine. However, they wouldnt honor the oil change package as their policy states it expires after 24 months. I missed getting it changed there by 35 days. The only reason I went to Pollard was for the remaining oil change and the recall. Otherwise I would have either performed the service myself or gone somewhere cheaper. Regardless, I lost my remaining oil change worth, plus $70 for the current oil change. All in all my oil change today cost me about $110. I know its their policy, but if they want to keep a customer then maybe they should have honored the service package. Im only giving two stars as Im sure the oil change was done right.

I bought my vehicle in February of 2019 from Pollard Jeep in Boulder, CO. This was my first mistake. I had to make a separate payment two weeks after the purchase date. I called to give them my debit card info and thought all was well. The lady called me back several days later stating that she had wrote it on a piece of paper and somehow lost my credit card information and needed it again. She lost sensitive information. So I gave it to her again. A month down the road I go to license my car and pay for tags and title but the dmv could not find the info. Pollard had never sent it in because they never processed the payment. I had to buy an extension on my temp tags. I go in to make the payment (for the 3rd time) so I could register my car. There was a recall that needed to be attended to. In the process of fixing the recall they put a 2 inch scratch on the leather of the console which is what was being fixed. I had to bring it back in another day so they could order the part. By then, the electrical on my visor had just fallen out due to broken clips so I had them repair that as well. Minutes after driving off the visor fell out again. I bring it back this last time to have the visor fixed again and a complimentary detailing that came with the purchase of the vehicle. I was told to drop it off at 11am and it would be done by 5pm. I dropped it off at 11am and called at 530pm just before they closed to see the status. They hadnt even started. My vehicle sat there the entire day with no progress and they didnt bother to call to state that our car was going to be there over night (for a detailing). I told them Id be there in 15 min to pick up my vehicle and that I wanted a detailed list of what had been done in the 6-7 hours it had been there. They tried to do a quick wash of the outside of the vehicle while I was on my way to make it seem like they had done something. They pulled it up next to me dripping wet. While doing the quick wash, they put circular scratches all over the paint on the body and somehow ran the back fender into something and notched it up very badly causing thousands in damage. I hadnt noticed at this point because it was dark already. They offered to give us a loaner for the night so they could finish the work the next day. The next day they call us around 5:30pm (already dark at this point) to go pick up our vehicle. I thought this was fishy so I checked the inside/outside of my vehicle before leaving the lot. This is when I noticed the damage. I reported the damage to the manager before leaving the lot. He wants me to bring it in again in a couple of days for repairs and states that it is not going to be back up to 100% but theyll see what they can do. This car is less than a year old off the lot with me being the 1st owner. It has been damaged by the people we bought it from and theyre telling me that theyll see what they can do. I have filed a complaint with Jeep corporate, the Attorney General, the Colorado Auto Dealers Association, and I have also filed a police report. Zach was truly exceptional in all aspects. He listened to all of my needs, super friendly, and kept searching to find me the best car he could. I have and would continue to recommend him. The overall dealership experience was wonderful. The place is very clean, everyone is willing to help.

Jon Slack was attentive, fair, and conscientious in all aspects of my purchase experience. He was accommodating to my third-party inspector and gave me a very fair deal on an excellent vehicle. His manager, Paul, oversaw the entire process and helped streamline the process.Speaking of which, Jon and I did all of our negotiating over text message which was unbelievably helpful with my busy schedule. I didnt actually have a conversation with him in person or over the phone until an hour before signing, and I wasnt at the dealership for more than 20 minutes. Thats how I prefer to buy, and he was very receptive.Absolutely no complaints about working with Jon or this dealership. Thanks again for everything!

Darin was absolutely awesome! Very nice to talk to and work with, he did a great job of keeping me updated on my vehicle and it’s repair. He even went the extra mile to try and get my repair covered under warranty. No luck there, but was super grateful that he reached out to the warranty company on my behalf. Jon Slack was relaxed yet professional, and pollard was the nicest dealership in town. I bought a used toyota here instead of the toyota dealership down the street. Only rain on my parade was they left the tank nearly empty.

Pollard Jeep was amazing! The entire team was welcoming and really helpful. I had come from another dealer in Colorado where I had not had a great experience and Pollard Jeep was exceedingly kind and helpful in the car-buying process. I worked with Alex and Paul and they both are amazing! Alex was super detail oriented and was able to explain everything to me as this was my first time buying and financing a car. Paul was also just as amazing! He helped me with the financing side and with getting all of the documents needed for the loan. He also got the bank to get me a great warranty on the car. Overall, the Pollard Jeep team is truly a family and they were not only helpful, but also exceedingly knowledgeable and kind!

With all the problems we’ve experienced lately it’s nice to be able to go to a place of business that treat you like you’re part of the family.
Pollard Jeep of Boulder…the dealership that will sell a vehicle already under contract…In early May 2021, my wife found a white 2015 Toyota Highlander with tan interior on the Pollard Jeep of Boulder website. She contacted the dealership and spoke with a salesman by the name of Jon Slack to make an offer on the vehicle. After settling on a price, she provided a $1,500 deposit to secure the vehicle. Shortly after providing the deposit, John wrote up the contract and she had a signed contract on May 11th and an agreement that Jon would deliver the vehicle on May 27th.Fast forward to May 21st. My wife gets an email from Jon asking if she was available to talk. So, she calls Jon and he informs her they SOLD the white 2015 Toyota Highlander that she was under contract to buy! Unfortunately, Jon is in a bad position and really can’t explain to us what happened besides stating that other employees at the dealership put the vehicle back in the system saying it was for sale. Additionally, he’s simply not in a position to fix this problem or make it right.The real short coming of the dealership is that NO ONE in management had the courage to call my wife and truly explain what happen and how they could make this right. And my wife made numerous calls to the dealership to talk with the owner (Doug Pollard) or the sales manager (Paul Pfeifer) and conveniently they weren’t available. They simply asked Jon to do their dirty work to deliver the bad news and never stood behind him.Let me make this very CLEAR, no one in management reached out to us to explain what happened, how they could fix it, offer to search for a similar vehicle, offer compensation for a rental car, negotiate on a similar Highlander on their lot, NOTHING! Simply unbelievable.To be clear, Jon was great to work with. He was going to meet my wife in Greeley to deliver the vehicle to her after she arrived from Germany. We think Jon did a great job throughout the sales process. It’s my understanding the vehicle was sold to another individual on a day he was off. So, I get the impression there’s some slimy, shark salesmanship going on at the dealership. The whole thing just sounds like an inside job.And again, the icing on the cake is that my wife will be returning to Colorado at the end of May after living in Germany for over 2 years (in COVID lockdown) and now she will not have a vehicle to drive our two kids when she arrives. Way to royally screw us over Pollard Jeep of Boulder!
Great experience. No pressure, only helpful and reasonable negotiations. Explained very well every step of the way. Very responsive to our requests. Everyone involved from the salesperson to the financing personnel were great. I highly recommend this company.
I worked with Darren and the service team to have some major work done on my keep. They were great! Talked me through everything, and did a great job with diagnostics (especially with the list of issues o gave them). My keep 10yr old keep runs like new.

He went above and beyond and accommodated our needs while our vehicle was down! He even went out of his way to to present me a Green Bay Packers challenge coin to solidly the respect we have for each other! He has earned my respect and my business for future service needs!

In all my places of residence across the country, and all the car dealers ever, this dealership is the most humble, cordial and easy going group I’ve worked with. Service, customer service, sales, knowledge, etc., is truly refreshing. Particularly given the fact I don’t care for dealerships, these guys make it hard to not like them. No BS group. Just good, old fashioned customer service and appreciation for their customers.Other dealers could learn a lot from this place.Adding to this review September 4, 2021I returned to Pollard as I was ready to buy another Jeep from them. True to form, they did not disappoint. I made this purchase with Gabe East. He’s been with Pollard for some time and a solid professional. No haggling, sensible, direct and true to his word.
