The guys at Roadmasters are great they turned my slip-n-slide car into an army tank! They got me new snow shoes, an alignment, fixed the check engine light and even installed led fog lights for me!! I’ve had a lot of work done on my 02 4Runner here and have always had a great experience. Chris and Matt were great, and always have a detailed explanation what they did and why. I really like the new reporting system as well that has the techs notes and pictures of what they found, very nice touch!

I ordered my tires during Goodyears Black Friday sale using the websites tire sizing guide based on my vehicle make & model - the tires that were delivered to Roadmasters did not fit my vehicle. They were extremely helpful in issuing a refund & helping set me up with a new pair of tires (& better ones at that). Since my original order included the installation cost Matt honored that even though it meant covering his shops labor cost. I have had many oil changes, brake work, new tires, and a few mysterious engine problems worked on here over the years. Manager is clear about work needed and about pricing. On the one or two occasions when the first try didnt fix my problem, they made sure to get the car back from me and fix the problem with very fair pricing (or none, or even--once--a refund for over-fixing the wrong thing the first time).

I took my car into into the shop and was told that I needed a lot of work on my car. The gentleman by the name of Steve did everything in his power to be able to help me with the cost to bring it down. I cannot explain to you the amount of respect and care he had for my situation. I will continue to bring my car to this shop and would highly recommend this place!!

I’m from South Carolina and was passing through Boulder when my car experienced “widespread organ failure.” A friend recommended Roadmasters and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Steve was engaging, informative, and patient as I inundated him with questions and concerns. I was traveling out of state, looking for a place to have the car fluids and tires checked. I was having difficulty locating a business willing to check the car without any other services. Without charge, Steve came to the rescue. I have a new car and he showed me where the fluid checks are located and did a thorough check of the car. There was no wait and Steve provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this business.

With the snow and sharp drop in temperatures that we experienced this week we discovered that our vans battery was dead. I was not able to successfully jump start the van myself and had to leave for work. Long story short, Steve went above and beyond to get us a new battery. Since we couldnt get the van to them they came to us and did a home install while we were at work! We have been bringing our cars to Roadmaster Auto for years and know them to always be, not only great at repair, but honest and reliable, we trust them with our cars and our garage code! Id come to Roadmasters even if it werent my neighborhood mechanic because Steve and his team treat you like neighbors. The service is prompt and professional, but what really keeps me happy is how they dont try to baffle and upsell. I had a messed up alignment so I brought it to Roadmasters; the problems with my steering rack were carefully explained, my options weighed, and when I did the job myself, they applauded my work and carried over my previous alignment cost because its the right thing to do. After numerous flat patches (who is scattering nails over our roads?!?!), I trust Steve to tell me when itll be a quick patch and when Ive got to replace the tire - he usually patches me up and Im good until another tire catches a nail... I bet theyve saved at least a full set of tires for me over the years. Roadmasters is run by decent humans - theyre closed on weekends so their staff can have a life! - and the concern and compassion for others is readily apparent at this South Boulder auto shop; Ill keep depending on Roadmasters for years to come!

We came in about a month ago because there was a strange sound coming from my brakes. The man on the phone was very patient, kind, and friendly. And he said I could bring the car to the shop on the same day. They worked on my car and fixed the problem quickly. My husband really enjoyed their professional and friendly service and told me to give them a 5 star review. So here it is!

I am an employee of the business. So my opinion of the facility might be construed as biased. But I specifically work there because of their philosophy of how to treat the customers. It is completely with honesty, transparency, and with great deal of integrity. The shops management approach is to treat our customers as described above but more importantly, it is how we as employee would want to be treated if we were on the other side of the counter as a customer.

Brought my 92 Volvo V70 with 210k+ miles in for a couple of new tires. I was on a budget, and these guys understood. Didnt try to up sell me anything I didnt need, which I always appreciate.Ended up needing some more pressing work done (ball joint/control arm and radiator repair), and they quoted me fair prices (radiator quote was a tad high, but thats no big deal). Ed was straight with me and told me I shouldnt dump too much money into an old car. Again, I appreciated the honesty. I just needed to get the thing back home to CA safely.Overall, quality work, good advice, trustworthy dudes. Kept my car going and was able to get it back to California in one piece. Thanks guys.

This place is awesome. They always take the time to explain what repairs theyre doing and help prioritize what needs to be done first if youre unable to afford them all at once. As someone with an older car on a budget, I really appreciate this! The employees also go above and beyond. I live close by and one time had an issue with my car at home that did not repeat itself when I took it in. Not only did they run free tests on my car all day, but they offered to come to my home and look at my car if the issue happened again. Ive been taking my car here for a few years now and will continue to do so as long as I live in Boulder!

Great place for windshield replacements

I did a key drop Sunday night to work on my malfunctioning thermostat coolant that was causing the car to overheat. They called me promptly Monday morning to let me known they were booked through till Thursday. That was too long a delay without the car so I found another place and took the car there. But they were professional and timely and will get more work as it is needed.

Steve, mike and jake helped me out immensely and right away! I walked in, immediately felt welcome and they helped me within less than 5min! Was shocked to have great service in boulder and would highly, highly recommend going here to get anything fixed. Thank you so much all of you! I will be back again :)!!

Only experience I had a chance to have involved walking in, being told they closed an hour ago but the store was still unlocked. Then proceeded to be asked what I was looking for, a quote, which wasnt possible because the concomput had already been shut down.I get your closed, lock the door then. How do you forget to lock the door but remember to shut off your computers? Why bother asking me what I wanted if the simplest thing, a quote, couldnt be completed?Updated: They made the effort to correct the issue and reach out to me.

I honestly can not say enough good things about this shop and the manager, Steve. I have a certified rustbucket that spent the majority of its life in Buffalo, NY and it can be a major challenge to work on. Whenever these guys run into issues dealing with that rust, they are always willing to work with me to keep the costs down. And on top of that, if I have questions about the repairs, they are always more than happy to discuss them with me and help me understand what needs to be done and why. If you value trust and communication in an auto shop, this is the place for you. As long as I live in Boulder, Im getting all of my auto-work done at Roadmasters.

Had a good experience here! Came in for new tires, but while installing new tires they discovered the bearing in my front left wheel was in really bad shape. Wound up spending much more than I intended, but they went out of their way to give me discounts and rebates to bring the price down. They even fixed my exhaust leak for no charge. Everything was done very timely, and they communicated with me through the whole process.

These guys are great. I have used them primarily for tires, of which they are super knowledgeable and dont try to up-sell anything. Plus, so convenient in south boulder. Im a customer for life.

I love this place. I have been coming here for five years and have had nothing but great experiences. Friendly staff, great location, and HONEST service. Even though I only come in here three to four times a year, they always know me by name. Hands down the best auto service shop I have ever been to.

RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE!! This place is a highway robbery. I had a problem with my window and also faulty windshield wipers. They wanted $234 just to diagnose the problems, before any repairs are even done! Called around to other places in town and got much better estimates. Employees seemed honest and nice but unless you want to pay way too much money do not go to this place.

I almost never leave reviews but I have now had two upsetting experiences with this center. I have had a history of faulty struts and initially went in to have the struts looked at. They told me the noise I was hearing could be a broken sway bar, so I signed an estimate to replace that if it was broken. It was not in fact broken, but i was still charged the same price to replace the sway bar links (even though I asked to be called first) then given an estimate for broken struts, which is what I said I thought was wrong in the first place. I felt very upset that day, and it took time to try to let it go and save up again for the struts. 5 months ago I had the front struts and strut mounts replaced. Not long after, my car was slightly off and wheel shaking a little. It got a lot worse the past 2 months so I brought it in. Front wheels were bald to the wire on the inner rims (these were pretty new tires and were in great shape at the time my struts were done). Told the wheels needed alignment - and rather than admitting its very possible the alignment got messed up when my struts were done, they just told me I must have hit a speed bump or something else. I went from having front tires in great condition, to bald tires in 5 months time after the struts were done. They should have been aligned at time of strut replacement, and yet I was told it must be that I just havent had my tires aligned in awhile. I am now having to pay for new front tires again, as well as whatever alignment services. I have talked to several people (mechanics) about this, and they all agree an alignment at the time of strut replacement should have been a standard of care. The staff there is friendly, but I always leave feeling like we are not on the same page.

I wont take my car anywhere else! Ive been in twice and both times the service was outstanding. They called every step of the way to keep me posted on repairs, listened to my sense of urgency and worked extra time to get my car done, and even went above and beyond to do the little things like decode my radio and sign me up for a roadside service that helped me get some of what I paid for in repairs back! These guys genuinely care about the customer.

I have been going to Roadmasters since moving to Table Mesa. The work has included oil changes, new tires, tire rotations, and transmission fluid flushes. I have found their team to be upfront and honest with the work completed as detailed and approved.

These guys are GREAT!!!I have been taking my car to Roadmasters Auto for the past 3 years now getting routine maintenance done on my 2001 Dodge Durango. This time though, they blew it out of the water! These guys are AWESOME! Will be going to them for everything as long as I live in the area.Last week I called Nick at Roadmasters who I work with often there and asked him if they felt confident they could solve a heating and air issue even though they were technically more of a tire and suspension shop. He said yes, for sure. So I trusted him. Im glad I did. They didnt discount any parts or labor, but they did show that they truly cared about how much of my money they were spending and kept timely communication with me on exactly what needed to be looked at next and how much it would be, all the while building a strategy to figure out the issue in the most cost effective way possible.I picked my car up tonight and was so stoked when I turned my heating and air on. They CRUSHED IT!On top of that, I asked them about recharging my AC and they advised me to wait until it gets warmer so they could charge the AC properly. They said if I had them do it now it would likely not be as effective. Imagine that! Thanks for looking out guys. Ill be back soon!

The experience with Goodyear back in 2013was just horrible.I paid around 900 dollars for my car, which I had to recycle it for 500 dollars right after getting repaired.The person working there was so rude. I even could not post review on Yelp because of the severe stress after encountering him.

I had a serious suspension problem with my Jeep and heard from a coworker that Roadmasters had treated her well. I usually dont hear that about auto repair shops from women, so when my Jeep needed some suspension work done, I decided to give them a try. I explained what was happening with the suspension and an electrical issue I was having. I set an appoint for later in the week and dropped it off first thing in the morning. I received a call later in the morning explaining what they had done and what they still needed to do. I was offered a couple of choices for parts (lower cost/lower quality or higher cost/higher quality) and an explanation as to what they recommend when I told him that I want to keep the car for a long time. The price they quoted was the price I ended up paying, no hidden costs or pressure to do additional work. They also managed to get the repairs done by the end of the day and I was able to drive it home that evening.Bottom line, the work they did was excellent and I felt like a valued customer.

They bought and paid for those positive review. DO NOT BELIEVE THE POITIVE REVIEWS. Run from this place. $257 just to look at me truck with out even doing work.After I protested the unauthorized charges the guy reduced the fee and then told me the brake inspection was free. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE.

I have yet to find a mechanic in the Denver and Boulder area that is as honest and knowedgeable as roadmasters at this location. The staff is very professional and is a stand up crew, they back up their workmanship and hold themselves to a very high standard. Only place I will take my vechicals from here on out.

Predatory practices!!!! Beware.This shop attempted to charge 4 hours of labor for a 15 minute oik change, changed filters without permission then charged for them, attempted to intimidate customer by removing tires to replace brakes when not asked.They are predatory and will take advantage of you!!!

The staff here are always friendly. They do good work at reasonable prices. They never lie to me and never try to sell me anything I don’t need.

Do not go here! I went in for simple oil change scheduled at 8 am. My car didn’t go back until 10 am. After 4 hours of waiting they used scare tactics to try to get me to spend $700 dollars on other maintenance. Even after saying no, they charged me for 4 hours of labor when they told me it would take an hour and a half max. In the end, I wasted 4 hours and $300 at this place!

Ive been taking my 1996 Honda here for a few years now, so I think I have a pretty good feel for the work done here, so let me start by saying that these guys are fair. Ive never gotten the sense that they are just looking to make a buck; in fact, they seem genuinely interested in the same thing as me: just trying to keep my car running as well and as safely as possible.They are always willing to break down and explain why or how something needs to be done, how urgent it really is, what the likely cost will be, etc. While Im no mechanic, I do have an engineering background, and their explanations always make sense to me.I note only two cons here: (1) my experience here has occasionally varied significantly depending on the lead mechanic who is on shift/the mechanic who works on my car specifically. Generally, my experience is good, as Ive stated above, but some of the mechanics there are clearly much more competent than others. (2) I think they are bit pricier than what you could find elsewhere, however, Im definitely not going to try elsewhere because that takes time and Im not going to take the chance of getting a truly awful/malicious mechanic.I will continue to take my car here; you guys keep going good work!

Their service to the customer is top notch, What works for you, generally they can get you in if you call ahead and make an appt. Same day is somewhat tough, so plan ahead. Also, I trust them with my vehicle, knowledgeable mechanics and friendly people up front. Quick service, clean waiting area, great location. But I do think they cost slightly more than other repair shops, so it pays to know what work needs to be done and shop around (then ask if theyll match) because I would much rather go here than Meineke/Midas because of the knowledgeable staff.

I went an hour before closing. There was one car in the bay that they said was finishing an oil change. However, the manager decided than an hour wasnt enough time to do another oil change and told me to come back next week. Eff that! I will not be coming back.

Terrible. Had to get swollen lugnuts replaced on ONE tire on my ford and they charged $200 (yes $200) to change lugnuts on one wheel and never gave me a quote. Worst experience ive ever had at a mechanic. They should be ashamed charging anyone that much for a simple job. Took my car to another mechanic who changed the other 3 tires lugnuts for $140 total. Avoid this place at all costs.

I took my car in after I broke some suspension bolts off in the body. The shop tech there inspected the damage and attempted to drill one of the bolts out, and ultimately concluded that he couldnt do the job with equipment in the shop. I was a little upset with the initial charge, and was also under the impression that they had not done anything except an inspection. I left a bad review here as a result. The shop contacted me again and explained further that they had attempted the job in addition to the inspection, and also refunded me part of the charge to a level that seemed totally fair! Thanks to Nick for following up and taking the time to make this right! I would definitely go back to them for service.Four stars only because they got the charge wrong in the first place. They definitely did right by me.

After getting my oil changed at Roadmasters, I noticed that my car was leaking oil in my garage. I brought my car back in and Nick informed me that my oil plug gasket had cracked, and they changed it out to fix the problem. On top of that, hes compensating me with a free oil change. He also went further and gave me some absorbent materials to clean up the mess at home. I really appreciate how this shop went the extra mile to turn a bad situation into one that is much less painful.

Absolutely did not help at all. Charged me for a new battery when I did not need one and it still did not fix the issue I was having with my vehicle.

Somewhere the radiator fluid was getting out of the vehicle in a tiny amount. Took it here to get it fixed. Was charged for new radiator and cap, and 2 gallons of fluid plus 24 dollars for shop supplies. Had to come back because it still wasnt fixed, they charged me for 2 MORE gallons of fluid (10 days later) and hoses, it still wanst fixed. Decided to look at it myself, turns out all that was leaking was the overflow tube on the top that goes to the overflow tank. 500 dollars later, why did i even come here. Theyre obviously ripping people off, there is no way i went through 2 gallons of antifreeze in the 10 days between visits, with a pin hole problem. And the charge of 24.00 in shop supplies. .....for what paper towels because they dumped 2 gallons of antifreeze on the ground????
