I dont often review places, but I wish I could give these guys 100 stars. This is such a great shop and their facials are AMAZING. I would highly recommend.

I just had the most wonderful facial ever, the radiant resurfacing! Not only was the facial great but my Facialist Marita V made it even better, she gave me the best massage and is such a sweetheart. Definitely booking with her again!

Brittany Light does my lashes and the occasional facial and every-time I am always pleased. My lashes always look gorgeous and natural and I always feel beautiful every-time I leave. DO NOT GET YOUR BRIDAL MAKEUP DONE HEREDefinitely the worst experience I couldve had. We get there and the lady doesnt have anything to do eyebrows with besides brow powder, she didnt have any liquid foundation that matched my skin color and I had to bring my own lashes because they only do individual ones. If I had to bring all the supplies, I wouldve just done my own makeup. I literally had to go wipe it off because it was so ridiculous looking. The girl was super nice but this place should not advertise that they specialize in bridal makeup when they dont carry nearly enough product.

Let me preface this review by saying my esthetician, Marita, was great. I enjoyed the facial. Marita picked great products and she gave a wonderful neck and arm massage. The space is adorable, well decorated, and online booking was easy.One thing to note that I wish I knew of beforehand. You won’t be in a private room. The beds are lined up in a row and you’re rather close to other individuals. I could overhear other conversations while I was getting my facial which was disappointing. I also wasn’t keen on parading around in a robe in front of others. For the price point, that was unfortunate.There’s probably some measures that could be taken to help. There should be a no talking policy when you are receiving your service. Product recommendations, skin concerns, etc. should be addressed up front so as not to disturb other clients. Also, maybe some room dividers or curtains in between beds would be helpful.

Meagan is great!! Every time I’ve been she always listens to my concerns for my skin, she’s super sweet and has a very gentle touch I’m always about to fall asleep during the facial, recommended great products for me to leave with and my skin always looks so good afterwards

Had an amazing experience here yesterday. Mel was so kind and took the time to explain all of the steps of the facial to me. My skin looks beautiful today. The only downside is that now that I’ve tried this place, I NEED to come back! :)

I had the pleasure of having Tina do my makeup for my wedding, she also had a second artist with her, Meagan who did a wonderful job. I loved every second of working with Tina. She has the best energy, we laughed constantly and she is passionate about what she does. She texted me after my trial and made sure I was feeling ok with everything and if there was anything I wanted to change. On the day of she was early, overly prepared and so fun to have while getting ready. Everyone loved her and I was so glad to have her apart of the day!

Maybe longer, and have always had a more then pleasant visit, great services and access to qualitative skin care products.Yesterday however was over the top! I had a lash tint/lash lift with Mel and I couldn’t be happier with not only her acute awareness to my comfort/well-being thru out the whole visit, but also was very impressed and grateful for her precise attention to the very intricate details of the services she provided. I have been going to Alchemy Face Bar for a few years now and I have always loved the services I received and the staff there but let me tell you about Julie! Julie took my experiences at Alchemy from 10/10 to 15/10. She is detailed oriented, precise, and always finds a way to make me feel extra taken care of. My lash lifts and brow waxes are perfect every time and she finds a way to make your facial feel extra special. She is really easy to get along with and we always have great conversations. Everyone at Alchemy is incredible however Julie seems to operate on an extra level of perfection!

Such a great atmosphere to be in! They greet you with hot tea and chocolate, YUM! I got a facial done by Julie Brown and it was incredible. She’s very personable and is passionate about what she does. Definitely ask for her when you make an appt 💜 The facial made my face feel rejuvenated and soft. Looking forward to coming here more regularly!

Larissa gave me my first facial ever and I never knew what I was missing. I had know idea it could feel so good, I always imagined I would just be sitting with a face mask on but all the products she put on my face felt so good and when she massaged my face and I was in heaven. I will definitely be getting another facial from her soon! My skin looked so bright and I was glowing for days after, she has magic hands!

While Alchemy produces amazing complexions and lashes this establishment is SO much more. Here, you have a tribe of women who are supportive, kind, celebratory and genuine. Boulder is a community of financial comfort yet Alchemy is affordable yet luxurious. I have had services all over the world and I can attest that Alchemy is unique. Walking into a beautiful space full of gracious and loving women is a treat itself then add expert hands and great product well, simply put, this is where you need to be.

I would recommend Alchemy to anyone (and everyone) living in/near the Boulder - Denver area! I have been getting facials here every 4 weeks for over a year and they have kept my skin in such great shape in the dry Colorado climate. I started seeing Katie Baker when she was working at the Boulder location (shes primarily out of Denver now) and she made me fall in love with facials and realize how important they are to my monthly routine. She always walked me through every step of the facial, while I talked her ear off! I found out she also did makeup and immediately asked her if she was available for my wedding day in October 19. My entire wedding party loved her and she even stayed post ceremony for touch ups! 13/10 would recommend!If youre looking for a facial at the Boulder location I would highly recommend Larissa - Ive been seeing Larissa since Katie moved to the Denver location and she is an absolute gem as well!Everyone at Alchemy is so professional, fun to work with, and they always recommend the right facial based on your skin type and comfort level. You honestly cant go wrong with any esthetician at either location :D! Added bonus if you have them do your makeup as well!

I had an appointment Marlee and everything about the experience was top notch. The atmosphere, the customer service, and the products exceeded my expectations. I would specifically recommend the collagen mask. An appointment with Marlee at Alchemy Face Bar is a great way to take a relaxing break from real life!!! Would recommend to every one.

I have been getting facials at Alchemy for about 5 years. They deserve 5 stars for their customer service, which elevated my standard for customer experience in the salon/spa industry.The interior is beautiful, inviting, relaxing, and clean.When I leave I feel relaxed and taken care of.I often purchase products & spa services to Alchemy as gifts for my friends and family because I trust they will be as satisfied as I have been and will enjoy their services as much as I enjoy mine every time.

WORST FACIAL EVER. They cut me nose, burned my skin (to the point it felt like it was on fire and I couldnt even finish the facial cause I had to go home to ice my face) and then CHARGED ME FULL PRICE. went it for a relaxing facial.. left injured and in pain. Never will I go back and pay $134 to be hurt. I was so surprised they charged me full price even though i was visibly in pain and didnt even finish the facial I didnt even know what to say so I just paid and left as soon as I could.

SJ is amazing. She takes the time to get to know you and educate you on what she is doing and why, as well as what you can do outside of Alchemy to help your skin. Shes extremely thorough and gentle (a rare combo), and she always welcomes you with a hug. I trust her completely with my skin and I leave feeling more beautiful (inside and out) after an appointment.

Alchemy Face Bar did our wedding makeup and they are truly amazing! Their looks are natural, but glowing, and theyre so professional. They use their own mineral based makeup thats not bad for your skin. Annie did such a good job! She arrived early and then even finished early. She stayed later just to ensure we had all the touch-ups we needed too. Leading up to the wedding she also assisted with face care tips and did facials for me at the Face Bar to ensure we were ready. Its the perfect mix for your glowing face on the big day. I couldnt recommend them more.

I cannot stop raving about Alchemy for its amazing services and it’s fun environment. That being said, it’s Julie who has me completely hooked. She is one of the most friendly and amazing aestheticians out there. She always remembers details about me, and chatting with her is so easy and fun, and she is honest and thorough with my skin making sure I look and feel amazing. I’ve gotten gift cards for all my friends to come visit her!

Cassie gave me my first ever lash lift and it made my eyes POP! She was awesome about explaining what she was doing and answering any questions I had throughout the entire process! This was my second time getting a facial at Alchemy, and again, I was blown away and my face feels incredible. I am from out of state and brought my daughter in to celebrate her birthday. I went in for a facial yesterday, and was not satisfied. I would not recommend this place nor would I go back. I’ve been a licensed esthetician for almost 10 years and I’ve never received such terrible service at any spa. From the moment I walked in, service was awful. Don’t go here if you’re looking for a nice, relaxing facial.

This place is incredible! I’ve been going to SJ in Boulder for 7ish months now and she has helped my skin dramatically. On top of giving me amazing, customized facials, SJ goes above and beyond to give me product recommendations as well as tips and tricks to make my skin feel great. I am visiting for the summer from Houston and wanted to find someplace that uses the same products as my spa back home- and I must say this was better than expected!! Annie was so wonderful and listened to my concerns and discussed what we could do for my intense hormonal acne, while still working with the products I already have. The spa was beautiful, peaceful, and very affordable considering all the services they provide. Very excited to have found this gem of a place!

I just got my first ever lash lift and tint from Katie Baker and I am OBSESSED! I don’t even have to wear mascara to work and if I do wear mascara my eyelashes look even thicker and longer. She also tinted my moms eyebrows and she loved them! I highly recommend both services and Katie.

Really love Alchemy Face Bar. Ive been going for facials, botox, lashes, my wedding makeup, etc. since 2016 and absolutely love it. They really know how to take care of you and you feel so pampered without needing to get into a robe or pay hundreds of dollars. They are quality estheticians, and better than some other spas Ive been to that charged triple the price. Everyone feels like your new best friend there, super welcoming. Highly recommend.

I’ve been seeing Taylor at the Boulder location for almost a year now for lash extensions, and she does the most amazing job. I look forward to my 2-3 week lash fill with her. I went in for a facial with my mom and Cassie gave us the full spectrum of treatments! We left walking on clouds. The collagen mask was such a fun treat and my skin has never looked so good! She got all of my blackheads out and my skin was glowing. make sure to ask for Cassie she is amazing!!!!!!

Save my face! So affordable! I was so excited to experience this and then flat out passed out and woke up with a baby soft face and micro pores. They gave me suggestions on facial care which I now use and can see the difference. Will def be coming in multiple times a year

They looked gorgeous both times, but the second set stayed on through all kinds of tropical adventures and body surfing!You can tell these folks really care about creating an amazing experience for their clients, and this is a great local business to support! Book an appointment with the Alchemy Mineral Blends girls right way! I loved going in for a color consultation and lesson. They make the appointment super fun and informative and youll leave with lots of new tips and ideas to improve your every day makeup application skills. Their line of Mineral Makeup is incredible - great for Boulder girls who want to look healthy and not overly made up! My favorite parts -- the terrific SPF protection in the makeup and that Im supporting a Boulder based, woman owned business.

My esthetician is Sarah (SJ) Maida and she is incredibly knowledgeable and puts so much thought into caring for my acne prone skin. She’s a healer, no doubt! I go to Katie for literally everything involving face care. I trust her expertise, and I always leave Alchemy glowing. I drive from Denver to Boulder just to see her, she’s that good! ;)

I have had three facials with Aubrey now. She has helped me so much with combatting my horrible acne by doing the facials and recommending products for me to use at home. Aubrey is very knowledgeable and has told me about a few herbal supplements I have now implemented into my routine in the hope that they will help clear up my hormonal acne. I love the location of Alchemy as well and the feel of the salon/spa. It’s just a happy place to be! Finally, I love how affordable it is. As a college student who has tried so much to combat acne, getting regular facials has helped so much and they are at a good price point here. The products are also very high quality. Overall, I love Alchemy and look forward to future visits!

For starters, the only reason that its not 5 stars is because the person who came in during the end of my appointment would not stop talking loudly to her stylist, who talked back, about her personal life and it was incredibly distracting/difficult to relax. I feel like once you go back, you should respect the quieter atmosphere and that the bar should encourage/enforce that. I will say that I had a great experience before that and that the quality of the facial was incredible. My face feels amazing one day afterwards and my stylist, Fernanda, was gentle and thorough. She was running behind but went over in time to make sure I had my full treatment. She was aware of my skin type, needs, and comfort level. Very impressed!

Had my wedding make up done here by the owner, Bre. Shes amazing and her team is super friendly and knowledgeable! They know your style once they meet you.

They did my lashes terribly and didnt care to issue a refund. Told me misleading information and I wasted 150 dollars and am now taking them off one day later.

I can’t decide where to begin about Cassie and Alchemy! We are so lucky to have them here in Boulder.I went in for a lash lift (best lift I’ve received), an eyebrow waxing, and a dermaplane hydration facial - all with Cassie. Cassie is so knowledgeable and passionate that I completely trusted that she knew what she needed to do to get my stubborn, straight, thick Asian eyelashes lifted and my very dry skin hydrated (my skin was really thirsty with fine wrinkles, and Cassie’s recommendation for a dermaplane was 100% worth it!). Cassie is also the coolest person and the only reason I wouldn’t full-heartedly recommend her is because I don’t want it to be impossible to find time on her schedule ;). I look forward to my next appointment!
