His reviews and pictures helped a lot too- which is exactly why I am leaving a review, too!I received the custom made wallet quickly, and Jason Woodward was good at communicating the timetable and arrival info. It feels fantastic- great patterns and supple quality, the glossy finish makes the colors and patterns pop, and the stitching looks very durable. It’s even signed by the maker- a very cool finishing touch for a work of art.Highly recommended- his products would make a great gift for yourself or others.

Absolute perfection in every aspect!I needed a custom watch strap for my mens Corum Trapeze diamond case watch because Im a woman with a very smalle wrist. And I wanted something unusual. The case has a very pale peach mop/pale light orange pearl colour and the inside chronograph faces are a very pale green. John has a unique eye and imagination for colour matching hues, tones, what works and what doesnt. Whod ever come up with the idea of a light orange alligator strap with pale green keepers to go with the inside chronographs displays genius. Granted, its not for everyone but I could not be more thrilled.Jasons a perfectionist yet also very collaborative with this client. He listens carefully; it was very much a back-and-forth collaboration.Even before I receive the watch with the new strap, I completely trusted his judgement. And I could not be more thrilled! Granted, and orange alligator strap with pale green keepers Is not your everyday fare. And its worth every penny I spent on it.I recommend to everyone to use John and Jason. You wont be disappointed. Their work is perfection!

Love the custom belt they made for me!

Unfortunate experience with this business. I am looking to purchase a custom made leather belt for my husband for his birthday. I have looked at online and local options. None seemed to offer a custom made product except for this one. When I asked about their products, and what they might have available, I was told to go to Macys. This felt patronizing and without any effort to understand or help me. I told the person how I felt and that this did not address what I wanted. I was looking for a hand made leather belt. And then he hung up the phone on me. Might go a long way to listen to what the customer is really asking rather than try to second guess them.

For those of you who think leather skills and craftsmanship are a thing of the past, you must give John Allen Woodward a try. Ive been buying leather goods from John for ten years now and every item has been absolutely impeccable. His customer service to make adjustments or to create a custom-made item is the best, with individual attention a top priority. View the website or call John himself to discuss a purchase or project. Id rate a 10! Its not easy to choose a craftsperson to trust with a vintage/sentimental task. Thats even more difficult when you arent in the same state! I searched, called, and finally chose JAW to craft a watch-strap for my fathers watch. First, the strap itself is exactly and more what I hoped for in quality, workmanship & color. Second, Jason was patient with all my questions, kept me updated as to the process. It arrived yesterday and once attached I cannot articulate how grateful I am now to JAW.

The most beautiful wallet I have ever held. What a difference from just seeing it in a photo to actually having it. I re packaged everything and re unboxed it to the song Across The Sea of Time and cried. Ill cherish this as if it is my child for as long as I can. Thank you so much. Wow what a day just received my alligator wallet from mr. Woodward. This is my second purchase and each time they were delivered as promised and on time. Let me tell you if your a little nervous about the price of These fine handcrafted works of art dont be.they are worth every penny theres no question these are the finest in the world. In some cases mr. Woodwards fine art is as much as twice the cost of other wallets but theres absolutely no question there is 10 times the quality and then some. so so so happy with my purchase.
