And all the employees are so friendly and helpful and are even willing enough to tell you where you can find something if they dont have it. Terrible place to buy alcohol! Worker was really rude. My mom went with my brother to buy some alcohol and my brother was just there to support her because her leg is very hurt and sometimes needs help walking. She just went to pay and asked my brother if he had an ID my brother said no and he literally kicked him out. Weve going to many places with my mom and this has never happened. Worst experience ever! Obviously you cant touch any alcohol if you are under age and he didnt. My moms response to him was that She has always taken her younger daughters with her and it has never happened. His response was they dont drink and he does was it just because of his tattoos or because he a guy, this is discrimination and hes judging someone because of his looks! Unacceptable!

I have bought from here many times since I’ve moved to gunbarrel back in January but today I got told by someone who said they are the “owner” that me and the person I was with had fake IDs. We both have Florida IDs. Even with multiple government issued identification he would not sell to us. Then threaten to call the cops on us to get trespassed. If you don’t know what a out of state ID looks like you guys need the book or a better scanner. Alot of people come here from all over for jobs and college and you are just losing out on repeated customers treating them the way you did today.

Gunbarrel Liquor has an excellent selection of beer, wine & spirits. I am always impressed by the knowledge of the staff and the excellent prices. One of my favorite spots to stop when I’m on my way to Boulder or Longmont. The store is clean, the lighting is perfect and the products are easy to find. I’m picky about my wine and they never disappoint with a wide variety of choices. Something for everyone!!

I love Loren, the staff and the selection. Its great to have a business owner who is so approachable and gives back. It reflects on the team-you can tell they are happy to be there. I always find what I need no matter the price level and feel the local love. They have it all from low, mid and top shelf. Nice whiskey selection.

They have a wonderful selection and I had bought a six pack of an IPA that didnt taste fresh to me and I brought it back and they tasted it and said it wasnt the best tasting IPA but it wasnt bad to them. This is a high-quality store for liquor. Owner is very keen as to how things should be run, and the result is: stellar service, quality of products, good lighting, devoted staff. Great location between Longmont and Boulder as well. I highly recommend this store!

If you like wine you must stop Thursday or Friday early evening. They do a wonderful wine tasting with plenty of education to go along. Unusual wines and very friendly and knowledgeable people.

I live in the Gunbarrel area and am thrilled to have such a good liquor store in the area. Theyve started doing wine tastings to help highlight some of the many wines they have in the store. The prices are comparable to bigger, cheaper liquor stores and the staff often offer good suggestions. Very glad to have them in the neighborhood!

A locally owned business that has been in the neighborhood for over 20 years. Since they are local, prices are marginally higher than the big, corporate jobs popping up around the metro area. This is mitigated by the fact that its the only liquor store for five miles in any direction and they are now open Sundays!
