This pawn shop was rude and unhelpful when my roommates and I got a bunch of stuff stolen from us. They were unhelpful on the phone when we were trying to figure out where all of our stuff went. Other pawn shops in town were very kind and went through every item we had stolen to see if it was pawned at their shop and even wished us luck on the search. After we figured out it was all there a week after our phone conversation, they questioned me about personal matters (it was my ex bf who stole the stuff and pawned it here so they were prying into my life and asking why I wasnt staying with him (none of their business whatsoever)). If your stolen stuff is here, good luck finding it.

I didnt end up selling my item here because I figured out I was still emotionally attached and not ready to sell at the time. With some further research, discovered their offer was the highest in town. I felt really comfortable discussing my item with the staff and it was nice to see a shop full of women employees. Great experience.

I bought a bike off them and left it at my friends house. They took it back the next day and was told they would buy it back from them because the tire was popped. Friend called me and stated the info to me I told my friend I didnt want them to take it back for me as the employee at shady rays put to much air in the tire and I wanted to personally talk to them. I then called shady rays and told them they didnt have permission to sell my bike to them. Both parties against my will made the deal behind my back after the friend went and fixed the tire. Took it back to them and gave them half what I paid for it. My friend took off with the money and I sit here with nothing. Shady Rays knowingly took my bike in as stolen property then told me to go to the police about it...so let me get this straight...you buy a stolen bike knowingly then tell the owner he is s.o.l. if he doesnt go through the hell process with the police and the real criminal Shady Rays sites back and laughts...takes money from both sides. Shady Rays you are the filth of the earth for this.
