Just had an industrial piercing and another cartilage piercing done by Steve! I have had other piercings done before from different places and Steve was by far the best piercing experience I have ever had! I have high anxiety and he made everything very relaxing and comfortable and did such an amazing job I didnt even realize he was already done! (: thank you Steve!!! I love Element Tattoo! Steve has done my belly button, double forward helix, and now septum piercing. He was super professional and everything was extremely clean. Overall, I’m very impressed with the service here! (Side note, I had some complications with my double forward helix that were entirely my own fault and Steve was super patient with me and the piercing. Finally had everything right itself, and now I have beautiful jewelry in a healthy piercing thanks to him!) Steve also gave me a couple tips on how to counteract an issue I’ve had on a helix piercing that I got done elsewhere. I will definitely be keeping them as my go to piercing place and recommending them to others! Already have had two family members go and they loved it.;)
Super appreciative of the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff. I had several ear pierces very slightly enlarged to accommodate the smooth circles I had put in. The man we worked with was gentle but thorough and very kind and helpful. I always visit them when traveling from out of state!

My girlfriend, friend and I all got tattoos one after another from Kimri and she did an absolutely gorgeous job on all three. The whole place is super clean with a professional yet chill atmosphere. Everything was repeatedly sanitized in front of us and Kimri made sure we knew each of our needles were new from the packaging and had us watch as they were disposed in a sharps container. Kimri obviously adores her job and had fun doing all our tattoos.
My second time getting a piercing here. In fact, its becoming an annual tradition. Very professional workers and a great establishment!
All around low quality product and service. I got way overcharged by the owner for jewelery that consistently fell out or broke. Definitely skip Element and try somewhere else in town.
I got my belly button pierced here when I was 16. The piercer couldnt get the needle through my skin and it took a total of over 22 seconds for the needle to fully enter and exit my skin. I have the video. When I show people they cringe and ask why I didnt ask for my money back and compensation. Im more than willing to share the video. You can see me wincing and talking about the pain while my parents calm me and promise it will be over soon.
I love Element Tattoo, they have done all mine and my familys piercings except 1. Wonderful staff, I was even offered a special piercing for my daith that I didnt have to keep removing for all my MRIs even though they didnt recharge me to have put back in time after time. Much appreciated. 👍👍😃
The shop was super clean and inviting. We came in to get my daughter’s ears pierced and Steve was phenomenal! He explained everything to her and was patient with all of her kid stories. I am so thankful to Steve who did my daughters ear piercing the right way. She had them previously pierced at Claires this summer, the ear swallowed up the earrings and she had to have a Dr. surgically remove them which was very painful. Then the holes closed up. I am so glad I called Element to get them redone. Steve is so knowledgeable. I highly recommend!

Ive had Megan do 2 of my tattoos and they are both phenomenal! Shes always so enthusiastic about what I want and puts so much care into my pieces! Ive also got a nose ring done here and it was a bit difficult because there wasnt much space to pierce. Its perfect! This will always be my favorite tattoo shop to visit. Would reccomend for anyone. Theyre fantastic and pricing is extremely fair!
Since moving to Bozeman I have gotten 3 piercings from Steve as well as multiple jewelry changes. He is the reason I have come back every time as he does such a great job and has even given advice about piercings I didn’t get done there! I also can’t wait to get my first tattoo done from there next month! I won’t go anywhere else in Bozeman the professionalism and the comfortable environment make the experience absolutely amazing!

I recently took my daughter to Element to get her ears pierced. I was extremely impressed by the pride that the artist took during what is otherwise a common and quick procedure. Not only did he explain exactly what would happen to both my daughter and I, but he took the time to guide us through the steps they take to make sure everything is sterile and safe. I will definitely be looking toward Element for my younger daughters piercings, if she chooses to do so, and possibly for my own body art in the future.
The staff was super professional and kind to myself and my seven year old daughter who was getting her ears pierced. Quick to get us in and helpful with explaining the process and what documents they needed. I would strongly recommend parents taking a child here for a first ear piercing. Once they explained the differences between a gun piercing and a needle piercing the right choice was an easy one. Thank you! My daughter and I are so happy with our experience.

Megan is the bomb. Me and 3 of my best friends came in to get tea cups all in a different styles. I flew from South Carolina and one friend from dc. She was so amazing we didn’t know exactly what we wanted but gave her the general idea and her artistic ability was incredible. She was so fun to talk to (we were there for 7 hours) and had such a warm personality. Also she’s a Viking goddess which is badass. Highly recommend such an amazing experience. Took my daughter to get her ears pierced today and we were both very happy with everything. It was extremely enlightening hearing how negative the piercing process is at places like Claire’s. Please save yourself or your child’s health by taking them to a place like Element over these other uneducated albeit less expensive places.

Just got a tattoo there and absolutely loved it. The artist are extremely focused and capable with their artwork while still being able to have conversations and joking around. Definitely would go back for my next few days.
Came in to get my nose re-pierced (I had accidentally ripped it out that morning, and couldn’t get it back in!). instead of completely redoing it, the guy who helped me tried to restretch it and push through first as to not make me pay for a second piece of jewelry (hurts as bad as it sounds). He was INCREDIBLY patient, calm and light hearted while he worked. At the end I needed it redone completely, but will 100% be coming back to this shop for future piercings and tattoos!

Some people impulse shop. Me? I impulse pierce. I had been vaguely considering re-piercing the side of my lip on and off for a couple weeks without any real commitment behind it. Then on a whim while headed somewhere else I decided I really wanted to do it. More so, I decided one would be so lonely so I was going to do a double side lip (spider bites, not snake bites).The girl who initially greeted me at the desk (one of the tattoo artists) was very warm and friendly. Steven, the piercer, was fantastic. He has a very calm, quiet demeanor which I really liked. Even though Ive been pierced before (which was clear from the scar from my previous lip piercing) he made sure I understood every step of the process before it happened. I also really appreciated his calm during the actual piercing because my pain tolerance isnt quite what it used to be and so there was just a touch more pinch and sting than I was prepared for. He reassured me I was a badass several times which made me inwardly grin (but not outwardly because he had a needle in my lip, people!). He even entertained my questions about whether or not there were any technique advances on surface piercings so I could re-do my clavicle and tested to see if my old lip piercing could be stretched back out rather than pierced.Overall this was a super comfortable experience on par with, or surpassing, the experiences Ive had at Moms Body Shop & Body Manipulations in San Francisco. I may have the piercing bug back now and Ill definitely be going to Steven to poke me with needles whenever the mood strikes me in the future.Also, how awesome is it that basic jewelry is included in the cost of the piercing? That was such a great surprise, especially after deciding on the fly that I wanted to go for the double piercing.Seriously, if you want to put metal in your body go talk to Steven!

Had a nose piercing done, staff was welcoming and made the entire process comfortable. The gentlemen who did the piercing explained each step thoroughly and told me what to expect throughout the process. The care & healing instructions were clear and concise, and they highlight whats relevant to you. I will definitely recommend them in the future.

I came in and set an appointment time for my tattoo. They called me and moved me back half an hour, which I was okay with. I came in at the moved time and they still were not ready. In no way were they apologetic, friendly, or inviting. I did not feel welcome or comfortable in their hands and ended up canceling my tattoo all together. I would not recomend this parlor on account of the rude staff.

Dark haired man pierced my second holes on ear lobes and he messed up one ear and had to redo it. Blood everywhere!! I tried to let it heal but it was still aggravated and later I go to a different piercing shop that told me that the bar was obviously way too short even if my piercing was fully healed. I would never go back is recommend to anyone. It was expensive for an armature job.

Kiri does amazing work! I received a piercing from her two years ago and it was fantastic! I went back on new years to get a tattoo with my roommate and the artist did a decent job on mine, but my roommate isnt pleased. Ill definitely add myself to the waiting list for Kimri next time.

None of the staff was very welcoming. All seemed irritated to be there. Super rough on my tongue when I went in to get it pierced. The woman who did my piercing was more interested in what food they were ordering than what she was doing with my tongue. The piercing itself was crooked and in the end got infected. 0/10 not going here again. Waste of time and money
I cant say enough about Megan and Element Tattoo. I decided last minute that I wanted my tattoo that day and she had me in the chair and out the door in 30 minutes with EXACTLY what I wanted. Im not from Bozeman, so I came to Element after stopping at a parlor rated higher on Google-- but this should be your first and only stop. Cant thank her enough for listening and giving me the tattoo that I was told wasnt possible by the previous parlor-- its absolutely perfect and has healed wonderfully. Thank you!
