I stopped in yesterday looking for a cowboy hat and they had a decent selection upstairs but I was blown away when I went downstairs, they had so many amazing and super cool vintage western wear. The only thing is it was a little pricey for vintage clothes but it is what it is. I found an amazing cowboy hat downstairs and the lady at the front counter help me get it sized to my head. My brother found an amazing pair of boots that will probably last him his lifetime. We talked to who I believe is the owner for a solid 15-20 minutes. She was so incredibly nice and just a real joy to talk to. Id definitely recommend if you are in the area to check it out.

Beautiful store with extremely unique goods. Don’t miss the lower level filled with the coolest vintage boots, dresses, shirts, and jackets. The staff are absolutely lovely, knowledgeable, and so helpful. Will be recommending a stop here to everyone I know :)

Beautiful clothes. The selection of boots is the best around. Be sure to head down to the basement to check out the consignment and sales. The consignment items are very high quality. Some vintage as well.

Head west is the best store in Bozeman. Marion is always kind and helpful. They have a killer vintage section downstairs, too. Great place for gifts and vintage clothes/jewelry/boots!

A fantastic selection of western wear with a gently used section in the basement of the building. I was able to purchase a beautiful hat during my visit and pair it with a hat band from their selection.

Cashier made me leave my bag at the top of the stairs as if I was going to steal merchandise when I headed for the vintage section downstairs. Remarkably insulting. I watched other customers walk down the stairs without her asking them to do the same. Not quite sure where she got that idea considering that is far from my moral character, but it was certainly offensive. I will not be coming back or sharing my business here again.

Not sure if I have honestly ever experienced a more pleasant shopping experience. Best service I have ever received! The woman behind the counter brought out some feathers for me to help customize my newest Stetson edition. Thanks for being so rad! Stoked to come back in the next few months.

Were lucky to have this gem in Bozeman! Its western wear that you actually want to wear! The staff is kind and helpful and friendly and the clothing, boots, and accessories selection is amazing. They carry products for men, women, and even kids! I love that they carry products in a range of price points so I can shop if I want a bargain or if I want to splurge.

We stopped in to look for boots for me. The sales person went above and beyond and was so kind and matter-of-fact about the hassle of finding boots that would fit over my calves. She immediately looked up what boots could be ordered in with extended calves. Gorgeous merchandise too. Oh and she found the perfect boots for me. I am all about first impressions and I am hooked on Head West.

I had the opportunity to meet the owner at a networking event I hosted in Bozeman and she recommended a hat that one of the girls was wearing. Last time I was in Bozeman I went in and bought it. I just loved this store and I love my hat!!!! Check it out if youre ever in Bozeman!!!

Western clothing and hat boutique. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. A lot of options for women and men. Has a second hand/vintage shop downstairs. We can to find a hat for my guy, and learned a ton about hats.

Headwest is my go-to shop in town! Absolutely love their selection - both upstairs and downstairs in the consignment corral. Their sales representatives are incredibly helpful, kind and will even call you by name! :)

We visited Bozeman over the weekend from Washington State. The first thing my fiance wanted to do when he landed was grab a bison burger at Teds, and stop into a Western store he found called Head West. Both did not disappoint! Head West is a Bozeman Gem and cowgirls dream! I got a pair of Liberty Black boots (tall, olive color with Fringe!) and Kosta got a couple jackets. He ended up wearing them the whole trip (to Jackson, Chico etc.) and looked like a cowboy stud :) We loved Head West and will be back!
