Loved this place. We were visiting Bozeman and wanted to do some light food shopping, and this place was great! Usually you can only shop at a Co-op if you are a member but they welcome everyone and that was nice. We bought some snacks, drinks, jerky and some small gifts for family. I loved their variety and their staff. They were all very nice and helpful when we asked for recommendations of places to eat around there. Highly recommend even if you are just visiting Bozeman, its just such a nice vibe here at this co-op.

If I am missing an ingredient or need a quick snack or drink I always pop down to the downtown co op location.

Very good salad bar with lots of options for everyone, and indoor seating to accommodate! Kinda pricey, but that is expected for a co-op.

While visiting Bozeman, I stopped here at least 3 different times to pick up some sort of snack or food. The curry chicken salad and the garlic baguette (I flew back with a loaf), were my staples on this trip!

The staff was friendly and there was some locally sourced food. Great place to grab goodies or a nutritious groceries.

As the only grocery store close enough to walk to for me, its kinda lame how small of a selection they have of most things, especially since it is a little pricier. The staff are wonderful though, so I wouldnt mind paying more for service and convenience if I had more options. For some reason they have three cashiers kiosks but I have rarely seen it busy enough even to warrant two open registers. They have a ton of prepackaged food that I think they probably throw out a lot of, and way too many cold beverages for the size of the store, but the most pitiful produce section of any grocery store ever. Only one step above a 7-eleven in terms of variety. They are regularly sold out of pretty standard produce items, and some things are prepackaged in bags when they dont really need to be. I get that it was clearly designed to be primarily an in and out lunch concept, and COVID has put a damper on that, but how about showing a little more love for the neighborhood people who actually do want to do their grocery shopping there? Seems like theres definitely room to accommodate more everyday items while maintaining plenty of the grab and go selections.

I have been shopping at the Co-op for many years and I cant speak highly enough of their staff and the quality products that they carry. The atmosphere is also delightful and look forward to their cafe opening back up once Covid has calmed down.

Love you guys, the selection, quality, and service is always superb. My only complaint is the portion of meat on your grab and go sandwiches: I really wish there was more than one slice of meat per sandwich. The bread is so thick and dense that the lonely slice of turkey or roast beef gets lost and you feel like youre chewing on a crusty loaf of bread. Thank you for providing for our community!

Has really gone down hill with new COVID procedures, so many places have stepped it up, the Co-op is taking the easy way out and having a big impact on what used to being a 5-star lunch spot. No hot food bar, no sandwich bar, no salad bar. Now just prepackaged expensive options with no customization.

I don’t even want to give a star. I usually never write bad reviews but this was a HORRIBLE experience. The lady making sandwiches was nothing short of a jerk. Never been to the store and she was rude the entire time. Literally wanted to tell her don’t bother. Won’t go back. 👎🏼

Absolute staple of Bozeman community. A lovely place for healthy food and positive energy in town. Great for grocery shopping and dining both.

Its like a mini express version of the co-op about a mile away which is exactly what they were going for. I highly recommend eating there if you like good organic food and buffet style options. They still have options to buy basic food stuffs like bread, milk, produce etc., but its a far smaller facility and thus options are very streamlined.

So friendly! Always shop the co op!

THE BREAD!!! Everything they sell here that is made is unbelievably delicious, but the bread is NEXT NEXT LEVEL. gluten is King here. They will gluten bathe you in all the glory of dense, rich, incredibly flavorful bread.Come for the bread and youll permanently reside in Bozeman. This is a life changer. Also, buy good fancy butter when applying it to their bread. Dont skimp there and ruin their masterpiece. Theyll know and they wont be happy.

Amazing salad bar, hot food bar, made to order sandwiches, fresh produce. Bottled wine, whatever you need, they have it. Dine in or take out. Helpful and friendly staff. Well worth a visit. You will definitely go back.

I still love the baked goods here more than from anywhere else in Bozeman. Id love to be able to afford to shop here more frequently

A wonderful place and a wonderful location. Offers a variety of food and a great selection on their salad bar which was really nice. They have upstairs seating and coffee served on site as well cant say enough about this place. So glad its here!

For a quick, healthy bite, the downtown co-op offers a salad bar, readymade meals to go, and a hot food bar.If you’re willing to spend about $10-12, you can fill a hot plate with a good amount of organic (or semi-organic) meat and veggie dishes to satisfy an adult appetite.The selection of baked goodies is also good and there are dairy free and gluten free options.For refreshment during summer, the coolers are well stocked with sodas, local beers, and juice spritzers.It can be hard to find parking to get here, but if you’re already downtown, it’s an easy stop to get a healthy meal, snack, or a beverage.

Awesome place in Bozeman! As travelers, eating something quick and healthy is a must without having to bring too much leftover with us. We ate lunch here and the smoothie we had was so good. The cashier was funny and made it a much more enjoyable experience!

This place is a bit pricey, BUT they have the good stuff. I am not a member, so it might have been cheaper if I were. I come here primarily for the ethnic food on certain days. The premium price is expected, because they put extra care on what they serve to the community: the fresh organic and the ethnic food. The place has a warm atmosphere with a really colorful interior design.

Great place for a healthy, locally sourced meal, either in-house or take-out! Mix-and-match salad and hot food bar as well as sandwiches. You can shop for some of these products as well as an assortment of natural supplements, beauty products, and snacks, but be aware its not a full service grocery.

Salad bar and hot bar are SoOOo delicious and consistently so. Their prices are good considering it is all fresh local food. I love popping in here for a quick lunch or dinner. They also have a seating area and small but variety filled grocery section in case you needed to grab anything. Awesome little place.

A great place to grab natural, local, and organic groceries or a quick tasty lunch. The Co-op downtown has a layed back atmosphere and a pretty good grocery selection for its size. They have great deals on Annies Mac and cheese too!

This place is a little restaurant with salad bar, hot buffet, deli and prepared foods. It has a small produce section. We stopped there going through down as a low key, quick dinner option and enjoyed it.

Today was the second time weve had Sunday brunch at the downtown Co-op, purchasing food from the hot bar, but the food was anything but hot. As in most definitely room temperature. We wondered since theres a microwave near the silverware if we are intended to heat it ourselves. ? If not then something is certainly amiss. Even if you account for the time it takes to wait in line and pay for your food, one wouldnt expect it to be quite as not-hot as it was. Apart from the temperature, the taste was good and the Co-op often does a great job, but this might be an area of improvement. Thanks!

This is a wonderful place to get a hot meal at a reasonable if not cheap price! The members of the staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The tables and restrooms are clean and comfortable. Overall, the mountain town vibe puts you in a good, positive mood!

Great food for all

The hot food bar is amazing! Great spot for lunch and dinner. Wide variety of foods and Im always amazed at how well they prepare any ethnic dish. The Indian food day is a favorite of mine (I think its Thursday, but dont take my word for it).

The CDT is the prime spot for a quick lunch or dinner, or those last minute grocery items you may need. Always clean, friendly staff, and fresh food.

Great products. Great foods. There can be a poor selection of veggies (3 weeks no shallots). It is understandable however since all produce is organic; shelf life is significantly reduced.

Love this place. Love the grab and go breakfast bar, the smoothies and the SUPER NICE employees. And the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are pretty good too 😋

Curry Thursdays have to be my favorite day here, but they do a different theme each day of the week. The food served here is excellent and the best cafeteria style food Ive had anywhere, period. Its seriously on another level. Right in the middle of downtown Bozeman, its great when I dont have much time to grab a decent hot meal.

Stop in every time Im in Bozeman, the salad and hot food bar is awesome. The hot soups are amazing! Definitely a stop you wont regret.

Fancy high-priced minisize Whole Foods in the middle of Main Street. Best part was the saved walk to find beer at a liquor store.Clerk at the front was very nice

Very good place if you want to eat healthy for an affordable price. You can buy to go or eat here (a lot of choices : salads to compose, sandwitches, hot meal...) So you can be vegan or gluten free you will find something. Small grocery store too with quality food (not cheap).

I use to go here almost everyday for lunch ( until I moved)! I love the hot lunch buffet, I love the sandwiches, the salad bar and everything about this place!

Ive been in several co-ops and this is a very good one. The food and service is great (I had the Mediterranean on gluten free bread that was really good). The coffee is great and the store has a really good feel to it.

Perfect for a quick and healthy lunch. I am so glad they have a location downtown! There is also a good selection of grocery items - not cheap - but can save you a trip to the grocery store later!
