I live in Maine, so this was my first time taking my bike to be fixed.I had a lot of questions and he didnt mind answering all of them.I purchased a basket which he install, and also purchased a mirror which he also installed. I had surgery on my hand in September, he help me select gloves for my hand. It was hurting my hand lifing it up onto car rack.Oh ya, the reason I took it in was for a flat tire, which he was a pro at changing.The other items I was looking to get, Im so happy I got them from JT Bike.I will take my bike when needed to JT Bike, and I highly recommend you take your bike when needed to JT Bikes. Stopped in after another bike shop in Lakewood ranch said my bike “needed” a new brake and cable for about $125 maybe less ?? Young man looked at bike and for $5.00 my bike is good to ride. Just needed an adjustment. New to area I’ll be back if my bike needs repair. You’ve gained a new customer.

Always on point. Very proffessional and straight forward. Clean shop everytime i go in. Pricing for labor and parts are quite fair. Usually has whats needed for repairs in stock. Only gripe i have is that he needs a seat or 2 for customers to sit in while they wait. Keep this business alive, he deserves it and so do we.

We came to JT bikes to get brake cables installed on a rollator style walker. Jeremy was happy to help us, even though we were bringing a walker to a bike shop. We were biking around the area just for the day and ended up getting a flat tire, roughly 10 miles away from where we started our ride. They were the closest bike shop, so we dragged our broken bike there, hoping they could help us out. This is a great place to bring your bike for service work. Fast and affordable......it was a great experience and Im very happy. I had a warped rim and JT had it fixed and back to me in a snap.

I have a very old Raleigh 3-speed (1970s) which developed a problem with the bottom bracket bearings. I love the old machine and would hate to replace it. JT replaced the bearing assembly and had the bike back to me next day!

Brought my underperforming bike in on a Monday, JT replaced the cassette and chain (which had stretched) and adjusted my messed up brakes. The bike was ready a few days later and now it rides like a charm. Excellent work and reasonably priced.

Great new bike shop in downtown Bradenton. Brakes locked up, was told it would take a few days. They replaced the rear wheel and was done within hours. Totally recommend JT’s.

Had problems with my front brake. I Initially told Jarod (owner) that I thought I needed a new front brake. He diagnosed the problem and adjusted the brake caliper in 3 minutes ( when he could of sold me a front brake). I was in and out in under 10 minutes. He charged a reasonable $10 and gave me advice on maintaining my bike. I highly recommend him.
