I stopped here to check it out, because there is a hot food counter, and I wanted to check out their produce and spice sections. Everything was very fresh looking and well stocked. The meat counter had lots of good looking food and there were busy staff was cleaning and keeping things looking wonderful.All the food in the hot food case looked good, considering it was almost 3 PM when I arrived.I ordered the chicken salsa Verde, which came with a side of rice, beans (well seasoned & delicious) and a stack of small corn tortillas that were warmed through. The chicken was sublime. It was the best meal I’ve had in a long time, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I sat inside at the counter, there is a selection of salsa if I wanted it, and the people who served to me were very nice.The store is a gem with lots of Hispanic and chilies and curry for Jamaican food meals.I did not try the bakery next-door, so it sounds like I should check it out as well. This was a real score, for someone who likes to haunt alternative grocery stores and experiences.I’ll be making this my go to place to pick up spices, herbs, fresh salsas, housemade guacamole, fresh salsa, delightful produce options, comals, cookware, whole loofah sponges, and much more. This place has it all

Very clean store,wonderful smells. Had tamales pork,chicken that where big.Also had carnitas tacos,those too where big and tasty...Enjoyed the smells from Bakery and fresh cooking food.Has a little bit of everything for all.

This place is AWESOME! Fruits and vegetables on the outside of store, and when you step in, it was so busy....lunch time. I only grabbed 3 orange gas and a regular red bell pepper and left. I will definitely go backWill post more!

We went here for something authentic. Not disappointed, the food in the back at the restaurant was really good. The staff was friendly. The prices were also in line with the amount of food. They speak both Spanish and English for those of you who don’t speak Spanish.

A few great deals to get you in the door. Nice cuts of meat. Very crowded store. Not even because of people but the aisles are too tight. A couple employees kept yelling at me in Spanish. Apparently scolding me for something... No idea what. I havent been back.FYI, typical American food is ridiculously priced!! $8 for a box of Corn Flakes!! 😳

I mostly go there for the Hispanic cheeses and creams that they dont carry in Walmart and sometimes for the beef tripe its ok but that store is always so crowded i almost hate going there sometimes....

Plenty of hispanic products on the supermarket side. Did not try the food there. The bakery has a good assortment of breads and tastes very fresh.

Food is GREAT but its inside a store and can get very crowded and busy and can be hard to find a seat if you have a big group. Very cheap and they give you A LOT of authentic Mexican food, NOT TEX-MEX. They give you a side of about 10 soft tacos with a meal and a HUGE cup for a drink (horchata is the bomb). The bakery next door is also inexpensive and great.

Fresh real mexican food of all types, to eat in, or take out. Plus a grocery store stocking Mexican fresh veggies, fresh meats and canned food. You can find all types of food to make your own Mexican dishes. I had fresh pork tamales to eat on site; they were delious ! I had enough to take to my neighbor who likes Mexican food. Very busy at lunch time. Parking lot outside the door. Suggest arriving either before or after lunch. Excellent foods, with good service, prices you will like.

I love this place, its a grocery store / restaurant that specializes in Latin & Caribbean food. I would especially restaurant inside. It has really good and super latin and carribean food. The tacos (my current fav) are amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone whos interested in food.

Great place to buy groceries and a bite to eat. There is a lunch counter to place orders and a few tables to eat at. Their food is awesome, best tacos and taco salad in the area. This place is on our places to shop list weekly.

Good fresh Mexican food, my favorite is the fajita mix with shrimp, chicken and steak dinner is served with beans, rice and tortillas. I love Agua de Orchata, (rice water) my new favorite beverage (angua Fresca) is the agua de pina y Selina a (pineapple with spinach) This also a super market they have a great variety of Caribbean and Hispanic products, fresh produce and fresh tortillas, adjacent to the market is the bakery. I love the Mexican pan (sweet Mexican pastries) they also sell Tres leches cake, flan, Choco flan yummm 😋

This place in my opinion is normally 5 stars but the experience I had today just completely turned me off to possibly ever coming back. I’ve been a customer for years now and never had a bad experience until now I brought a new co worker who ordered shrimp and rice expecting a meal and they charged her $18.18 if foods that much it needs to be posted!!!! Second I order my usually tacos for taco Tuesday but this time I order 2 burritos to go and all I wanted was refried beans, cheese, cilantro, and steak asked them and repeated several times what do I get the burrito meal and burrito made normally. The girl behind the counter was either new or just poorly trained, very upset and they may have lost my business for good and all the new people I bring with me. It’s a shame I drive for miles for them and the worst management or anyone was for the first time ever no where to be seen. Shame shame shame on the poor customer service and attention to detail.

The location depends on the food you get. I’ve ordered 2 times from 1st and both times the food was horrible. The nachos are soggy and stale. Nothing like the other location. Entire order went straight in the garbage what a waste of money. The food from 14th st is the best. The people are extremely friendly. The food is fresh and good. I don’t know how food can be so different. From one location to another but I am so frustrated. I probably won’t go to either one for awhile. I hate wasting money.

Typically, I am very critical when it comes to Super Market stores when ordering food. So what a pleasant surprise it was when I ordered my food. The Mexican food was very authentic and fresh. The place was very clean its the best Mexican food, Ive ever had in this area. If you want true authentic Mexican food not over priced and plentiful this is worth the drive in the Bradenton and Sarasota area.The have a large menu and the food is cooked fresh, but the best part was the price. Ive paid allot more money for Mexican food that wasnt as good as Acapulco Tropical...

This place is a hot commodity among various ethnicities so it attracts a lot of traffic but that makes parking hazardous.I’m exited about the new one opening up in Ellenton. Went in 20 minutes before closing and wanted some ice cream, I’ve been there Wednesday prior to tonight and I asked for the flavor I asked for on Wednesday but a lady with a hairnet, glasses and curly hair insisted they didn’t have the flavor. She was rude and tried to hurry me up. I didn’t want to argue with her about the ice cream so I got what she gave me. Will not be going back.She also had a walkie talkie.

I love exploring grocery stores that specialize in different cultures and seeing what they have. For me, I can learn much about a peoples culture, by seeing what they eat. Acapulco Tropical didnt disappoint me. Its not Publix, for sure, but I wanted to experience and see the things that they had that were different and what were the same . Thats why I stopped. I plan on going back and eating at the restaurant in the store and also buying some bread and pastries at the bakery next door.

We love coming here for Mexican food and meat! Theyre all very nice and quick to get our food done. It is a little crowded most of time, but they made another one so that way business is distributed between them.

The little restaurant on the side is the real deal. Don’t let the lack of a menu faze you. The ladies behind the counter are really helpful. The food is really worth the wait and you can’t beat the prices.While you are there, don’t forget to stop by the bakery on the left side. There is a separate entrance that you can miss easily. Just about everything there is 99 cents. You take a round tray and a pair of tongs, then pick out what you want off the racks.

First off I only eat here in the back at the mini restaurant. However this is an authentic Spanish market that a lot of people use. Everything looks great. However I just take out Spanish food from the kitchen in the back that a lot of people do not know about. That kitchen is a hidden gem! I have been going to the Yucatan for over 20 years and this is the real deal. Closest to flying down there and trying it yourself. Absolutely delicious and authentic. Looks just like the the Mercados that are down in Mexico. The food is very fresh and the cleanliness is good. Never have had a problem with the Food. Must try!

Unwelcoming place, young lady at the restaurant of the grocery store told me that there were no more tacos and there was none to be made. I asked a young man who worked at the store where there any more tacos to be sold today. He told me yes and he was surprised at the questioning that I asked him. He went to the counter and bribed the young lady to make me two tacos the same young lady that told me that there will be no more tacos. 20 minutes later I received two tacos when I got home and I ate a steak taco it was delicious. I proceeded to eat my Barbacoa taco and it was absolutely disgusting The meat taste very gooey we it taste like they just put a bunch of fat inside of a tortilla.

This is a wonderful store for all of your Out of the Ordinary Caribbean grocery items. Its Way More than the Ethnic isle products at stores like Publix. But... They might want to do something about the stench that hits you at the entrance.

I went in there to shop on Wednesday and bought some cueritos opened the next day and there were bad took them back and the lady manger would not give me a refund or exchange the not only that she never let me finished talking to explain to her what was wrong with them not only that but the chiaharon were stale I never go in there and I’ll never go there again the owner need to check his manger lady in there she sucked

Theres a reason youll often find lines out the door. Not only a grocery store, but the best prepared Latin food as well. The traditional tacos are fantastic. The food is well prepared, and reasonably priced.
