The store didnt carry the specific paint we were looking for, but the manager went out of his way to help us, he called another store to ask if they had it, wrote down the address and phone number for us to make sure we found what we wanted. He was super knowledgeable and helpful, couldnt be happier with the experience!

Couldnt be happier to work with this team on a regular basis.To provide a few examples: theyve delivered spontaneous orders on the same day Ive placed them, they loaded up my vehicle with paint when I had a minor injury, and have delivered materials over an hour away just for the sake of helping out a client. I work at home depot. We have no window shades. Richmond does. The cheap ones that everyone wants. And they cut them.

Dont walk in circles looking for an item at a big box store. Richmond Hardware has knowledgeable staff to help with most home improvement projects and a vast inventory for contractor materials.Prices are very competitive and service is quick.Old Colony Masons highly recommends Richmond Hardware.

I came in here clueless as to what materials I would need for a project. Dennis was extremely helpful and knew his stuff. My project came out better than I expected and I Beleive it is due to the copious amounts of knowledge he had in regard to value and making sure I understood everything there was to know. Way better than home depot considering things are easy to find and the employees actually take time to help you.

Old time hardware store with pretty much anything you may be looking for. Best part is that they have experienced employees. A young lady came up to me and asked if she could help me find something, I said yes and she took me right to it. Unlike a Home Depot employee that you have to seek out, ask them where something is and they snap back at you with aisle 12...

They have to order what I want and need but that is ok. At least they can get it.

A couple of times this place has been totally awesome:Got a steel wire tentioner, for walking on a wire, on the day of. The small piece was not available at Hd, L, Harbor Freight, or Tractor Supply.Also got license plate clip bolts, on the day I was trading my car in, as I did not want the dealer destroying my old plate.On-line does not even get close to what is actually available in the store.I wish there would be at least some listing, guide as to how many things are in there.

Love Richmond. Reminds me of the old school hardware stores of my childhood. They know their customers and are 10 times more helpful than the people at HD or Lowes. You cant buy a boiler or wood stock, its not that kind of store. But if you need to match a 20 year old hinge or need an M5 machine screw thats 12mm long to mount your TV because you lost the original its perfect.

We stopped in here when our Thule bike rack broke on the middle of Rt 3. All we needed was a simple screw and bolt to fix the poorly designed part that had failed, but making the repair required trying out different sized screws and the use of tools, and it all had to be done outside on our car. The very friendly and eager to help high-school aged employee who assisted us let us take multiple parts outside and lent us the use of the stores tools so that we could see what we needed to make the repair before we made any purchases. In the end the sum total of the parts we bought was less than a dollar, but that friendly and trusting employee saved our trip from a potential nightmare. If we lived locally then their excellent service would have earned them lifetime customers, but unfortunately the best we can do in return is post this review and hope that others will patronize this good old fashioned friendly hardware store.

Good service and wide selection. Because they cater to both the commercial and residential customer they have items and knowledge that other stores might not have. There is always someone here to help.
