Customer service was great! Behind the desk & the service men who took care of the car... everyone was not only professional but extremely nice. I appreciate the extra effort that was taken to make sure I understood what was shape my car was in & what my choices were.

I highly recommend HiTech Automotive for all of your car needs. They are always prompt and professional and they go out of their way to provide the very best service and experience. They absolutely will not ever recommend or suggest services that are not necessary. One time I had to take one of my cars to the dealership for a recall, and the dealership gave me a laundry list of services that were needed for the car. I called HiTech and asked them their thoughts on the suggested services and I was provided with very honest and thoughtful feedback about what was necessary and what wasnt (ie: most was not necessary). They provided this feedback at no cost to me whatsoever. There is no automotive business that I trust more than HiTech. Theyve also patched tires on two of my cars with a very quick turnaround time. They are the best around.

They were super friendly and thoroughly answered all of my questions. Some of my questions were not pertaining to the work that they were doing on my car but they took their time to explain things to me and were very genuine and very helpful. In the last week weve brought both of our vehicles to HiTech Automotive and have been very pleased with the service. Having received quotes previously from other places they could have easily ripped us off but instead they were able to accurately diagnose the problems and fix what needed to get done without overcharging or upselling. We have been using HiTech Automotive for a couple of years now, and could not be happier with their service. They are a local business that is trustworthy. There have been multiple times where I went in expecting a large bill and was pleasantly surprised when I picked up the car as to the low cost of the bill vs many other shops the exact opposite occurs (go in for something small and have a mammoth of a bill).

Then they couldnt get to it by the end of the day, so I decided they can keep my car overnight...the next day the completed the work in a timely fashion. If I can give an honest critique, call customers so they can make proper arrangements...other than that, great place.

I brought it in for a low idle that wasn’t fixed by replacing the alternator as we did last time there. They take 3 days to get back with a diagnostic and tell me that they couldn’t find any error codes from the engine and told me to clean it myself. I didn’t wait 3 days for your master technician to just plug in the code reader. And then they got upset when I cancelled, saying “do you really think you’ll get it fixed before Monday” it took you 3 days to even quote me! Never coming back but I am sure they don’t care

They are great about communication. Its hard to find a mechanic that you feel you can trust, but I did! They always seem to care about my best interest. This place is great! They have been recommended to me by two people, so I took my car there when I needed my window regulator replaced. I had a burning smell in my car. Hi Tech took the time to diagnose, found it was something very minor, and charged me $0 because they are honest with their time. That is an honest way to do business and I truly appreciate them!

Hi-Tech is a reasonable place to do oil change, tire rotation and other basic services, but if you have anything like CEL do not waste your money there. They charged me $500 and light went back on 3 miles after I left the workshop. After that, HiTech requested me additional $600 in parts and labor to turn off the CEL.... I would say that is not very professional to train you staff using client resources.Following the Auto Zone free scan results, I cleaned the active shutters motors with brake cleaner spray and the CEL turned off.If is something some out of ordinary go to another place.

Found this place right after COVID hit because they offered free oil changes for healthcare workers. Area looks a little rough but the shop is nice inside and the customer service could not be better. Always very friendly on the phone and quick to accommodate for service. Most impressed with how trustworthy and honest they are! Was overdue for an oil change and had a check engine light come on the day before my appointment. Dropped it off at 0500 with the key drop box and got a call around 0800 that the vehicle failed a engine block test. Was instructed to call Ford for the work to possibly be covered by warranty and turns out I need a whole new engine! They didn’t charge me for looking at the vehicle and didn’t change the oil since Ford would be doing all that when they addressed the check engine light code. Can’t say how impressed I am with this company!

I had a situation with my van (non safety related) after a repair. They said no problem, bring it on in and we will take a look. When they told me what they found and what they needed to do, I told them it would only be right if I paid at least for xxx and yyy. Three times they refused on the phone and when I got there that it was considered warranty and they would only let me pay for another unrelated fix.Huge kudos for an honorable small business that really takes care of its customers!

I had the AC evaporator in my 2011 Lexus RX go out. Meant taking the entire dash out. Joe and his guys at Hi Tech did a great job for a fraction of the price and much quicker than if I would have gone thru Lexus dealership. I will be using them for future service on both cars.

Ford Escape 2010Had a problem starting the vehicle, figured it could be battery, cables, or alternator. Shop scheduled was crowded but they got us in. Same day diagnosed the problem, battery, replaced it, changed the oil which was due (they track it) and we were able to pick it up same day. Theyre very reliable and do good work at a good price.

Lack of safety for covid 19!! I had to request that whoever was in my car wear a mask which indicates this is not common practice which makes me feel very unsafe. Also saw employees in garage area with NO masks on. They go from car to car with NO consideration for safety. My window was also left open which negates my request to have whoever has contact with the interior of my car to be wearing a mask. Its a shame since in general this establishment was good but their lack of health and safety precautions has me reconsidering returning. I wouldve left if my car hadnt already been in the garage...-in response to what has been said by the business, the statement about your technicians maintaining safe distances is FALSE and I wish I had gone ahead and taken photos of them standing close together around the desk area in the garage WITHOUT MASKS ON.Also, gloves were only worn after the fact (and when my initial review had been seen by the owner) when the technician had already gone without them when moving my car and I observed NONE of the technicians wearing a mask or gloves when going into anyone elses car. The only reason a mask was worn in mine was because I had to specifically ASK FIRST for it to be done and have the request noted on my paperwork which proves wearing masks and gloves is in fact NOT COMMON PRACTICE for your establishment. Please refrain from lying any further in your attempt at an apology which appears to be mere excuses and misinformation youre repeating a week later.

I Had to take my car there for a new battery before going into work later that day. I called and they had a battery sent over and it was waiting for me when i arrived an hour later via a tow truck they helped set up. I was in and out in under 30 minutes with my new battery installed ( and made it to work on time). I really appreciated they respected my sense of urgency and squeezed me in on a very busy Friday morning.

This was my first time going there since I just from Tampa to Brandon don’t really know a good mechanic shop around here so when an employee at autozone sent me I them. When I got there they were very polite answers all my question Amy I was able to make an appointment to come back the next day to fix my AC on my car, it didn’t even take an hour for them to fix it. So I think I be going to them from now on.

Took wife car here because wife thought needed new brake pads. They inspected and said they still had 30 to 40% life and to come get it, no charge. Appreciate that honesty and not even any diagnostic fee. Will be back in 15k miles for those brake pads and Im open to bringing my car here for any future needs!

Amazing experience! Joe was friendly from beginning to end. I went in for a new condenser. My previous one had got a hole from debris driving on 75. I drive an hour to school and it currently being 90 degrees....I needed cold AC and other shops weren’t able to do it today. Except them! Joe showed me where the hole in the condenser was and gave me an estimate. He was really courteous and funny, and Becky at the front desk was nice and great to talk to. You can tell customers love them. As I waited, a few people came and left that seemed like regulars and would talk with the employees. Joe came out to chat me for a bit and then to my surprise told me my car was already fixed! It was so fast and generally a great experience in frustrating situation. Will definitely be returning for any auto related issues!

Fantastic shop. Great experience. I found this place accidentally, went to 2 other shops next to it until I found these guys. The other places wanted wayyy more $$ for a simple tire repair, they barely spoke English, and had no clue if/when they could get to it. These guys, Hi Tech Auto, were great! Clean shop, friendly staff, they were busy but got me in quickly. Tire repair took 10 mins and was a LOT cheaper than the first guys I went to. Good American owned shop! Ill be back again

Very honest folks and the mechanics talk directly to you, not at you or through the desk clerk. My sons brake light was out and the dealership told him $550 to replace all the wiring. I knew I could get an honest opinion out of Hi -Tech as I brought my car there for years. Despite the hour commute to their shop nowadays, it was worth the time. They told me which part was faulty and how I could replace it myself. and I did for a ton less! I will be making the commute with my other cars.

If it doesnt, they will tell you so, and they have handled what I considered some major problems with a minor fix or no fix at all. They dont advertise. They dont to. There business is created hand to mouth. I have never recommended them to anyone who was not totally satisfied. Joe Canfield, owner, and Gary, their service manager are your contacts.
