We drove from Wimauma to Brandon for a replacement watercraft battery.We were very disappointed that no one seemed to care to honor a warranty on a battery less than a year old. It was used once, and would not charge up for whatever reason. We took the battery in and was told it would have to sit for a couple of days to test. We bought another battery, as we were headed out on the jet ski. We were promised a call, but several days past, and I had to call in myself. We felt blown off. We were told our battery was not covered under the warranty, as it was not holding a charge. Isnt that why a battery is covered, since it wont do what it was built to do? We could not get a manager to call us back on this issue. We purchased another battery, but it will be the last one we ever buy from your company.

Batteries Plus was the only place in town that had the screen for my phone. Not only did they have the full screen but they were able to repair it in less than an hour and I was back on track. Friendly customer service, great product, and great price.

I love that Batteries Plus has online ordering with curb side pick-up. (And I hope they will continue doing so, permanently, even post-pandemic.)I also appreciated how quickly the employee answered the phone after I arrived and parked my car in one of the spots reserved for curb side customers.My battery purchase (for our home security system) was brought out to my vehicle in less than 5 minutes, by an employee considerate enough to wear a mask over his mouth/nose -- which is a big deal to me.Accepting a box of 50+ old/used batteries for recycling (and free of charge) earned them MAJOR brownie points as well.Ive had used up batteries piling up over the years because I knew it wasnt environmentally friendly to toss them in the trash, yet the countys recycling program does not accept them in the street-side bins. I was so glad to finally find an easy, proper, and convenient way to dispose of old batteries.While on their website, I learned they also accept old/broken cell phone and laptop computers for recycling. Although I believe they charge fees for taking in those type of items, its still fantastic that they have an earth-friendly recycling option.

This used to be a wonderful store but recently their customer service is terrible. I saw another post hear about them not honoring a warranty on a battery. I have the same story. I had a battery that was just a few months old and still under warranty, but they refused to honor that warranty. I will not shop here anymore.*Edit* I have already attempted to speak with the manager and was told that my battery did not qualify. Nowhere on my receipt is there an astrick that says warranty for one year unless…

Ordered 2 batteries online for in store pickup. The store called within 30 minutes to tell me one of the batteries needed to be delivered to the store before I coukd pickup. They had both ready by that afternoon. These batteries are used in a custom application with a battery isolator and 5000 watt power inverter.

Bad experience. Does not honor their battery warranty. The receipt states “100%” warranty for one year. It does not state the warranty is useless unless under certain circumstances that were never disclosed to us. This is a dishonest and deceptive practice.

A big shout out to the crew at the Brandon store. My I Pad display got cracked. Called and they got me in right away and within a few hours all was done and working fine. My I pad is for business so to have it back so fast was great. Good people and great customer service. Been using these guys for several years and never disappointed.

When I couldnt fine the battery I wanted on your website, I called my local Batteries Plus store and the gentleman I spoke with gave me the part number. I was then able to order on line, received an email that it was ready, drove to the store and had curbside piuck up. Everyone was so kind and helpful and made my life a little easier with this experience.

If you need a bulb dont waste your time at loews or home depot with insane amounts of bulbs. The folks at battery and bulbs will help you out cordially and the prices are competitive.

I went in thinking I needed to have my charging port replaced on my phone. Probably a $100 fix. Ozzie cleaned out my port and it worked fine. It was a great and fast fix but my phone screen makes a popping sound near the top and will glitch and move by itself all the time, almost like the screen isn’t pushed in all the way on the top left corner, I can feel it pop in and out and see it a little bit as well, hopefully I don’t have to get charged an extra hundred bucks to have it fixed, overall nice place but bad repair.

They do not offer warranty on screen protectors. They say they do, but it is actually through the manufacturer, and they wont honor it. They installed my screen protector and it lifted off the screen literally less than an hour later. They refused to fix it or refund it. The answer was to take it up with the manufacturer and it wasnt their problem.

I want to give a huge shout out to the staff at Batteries Plus Bulbs in Brandon. My husband has always said what a great staff they are—helpful and friendly. But then I got to see it first hand. Prior to Irma hitting, D batteries were hard to find. I wondered in on an off chance they may have some. I quickly found that there was a truck on its way and would arrive within 20 minutes. As we waited the crowd grew. It could have been a tense scene. But the staff was interacting with everyone well, offering one a chair to sit on, joking with everyone in line, directing people as soon as they came in the door. It was great to see. We all received our batteries and got on our way quickly. THANKS!

Pleasant, helpful, took responsibility for miscommunication of what I needed, in a different matter, suggested I likely didnt want to spend the money it would cost to change a situation given the age of my phone. Very much appreciated both of these qualities.

Excellent customer service and people know their job

Reason for 2 stars is that it took around 45 minutes to claim battery warranty. Employees were not able to find the order or how to process the claim. There were 3 employees in total and none were able to complete the process on time, while the line was growing. I really dont know what the other 2 employees were doing, but should have being there helping the other customers. Other than this experience, it has being pretty good, I have found what I was looking for, and prices are competitive.

If you like your time wasted, this is your kind of place.I called to see about a phone repair and they sent me back to the website to schedule an appointment. I obliged, went online, registered and set an appointment using their online tool as instructed. Found some coverage for my kid, and drove 30mins to get there. I arrived 20mins EARLY for the appointment and I was met with “ohhh, sorry I won’t have time to get to it today”. 1) why have an appointment available if you can’t make it work 2)If the guy would told me that when I called originally, I wouldn’t have wasted the hour drive time to make it to their store be told to get lost. He could have told me to get lost the first time on the phone and at least I would have not gotten a babysitter.

August knew the exact battery I needed and was very patient and efficient. They were having a sale on LED light bulbs and he took the time to explain how they saved me money and to show that they were unbreakable. I will definitely go there for all my battery needs. Fun guys... all have beards!!

I had an iPad screen replaced. While the glass was all clean and looked good, there are lots of dead zones around the edges of the screens that make many tasks on the iPad unusable. My daughter gets very upset every time she tries to do something and the dead areas dont recognize her touch.

Needed a new watch battery. Went to BPB in Brandon and was very pleased. Staff was friendly and welcomed me. Ben came over, found the correct battery and had no trouble at all installing it for me. He also gave me some interesting info on my car fob battery that I did not know. Friendly, informative and caring is what you will find at this store from Ben and staff. Gave them a 5 star rating!

I completely forgot that my cellphone battery had a lifetime warranty. I was prepared to reluctantly purchase another battery, but Jessica looked up my prior purchase and replaced my battery for free. Then she got all my watch batteries and provided an option for multipack batteries at less than Id pay at other stores. I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs today to get my Iphone battery changed and was happy to find out they did that and had the battery in stock. Took 15 minutes to do. While I was there I had my Key fob battery replaced and found out that is covered for life and I can also replace the extra fob for free.
