Dr. Susan Truong is the best eye doctor I have ever been to! She is accomplished, knowledgeable, speaks five languages and is more interested in educating you than in getting you into anything from glasses to contacts. I read the reviews before setting an appointment but even though the reviews did not look so good, I took a chance. THE BEST EYE DOCTOR EVER! I will refer everyone to her because she is an expert and is really the best. You wont regret seeing her. Yes, you may have to wait but if she wasnt good people would not want to see her. Think about it.

Wasted my yearly exam, still cannot see. Smh my vision started getting pretty blurred and distorted. I went in for my yearly exam, the doctor up sold me to contacts. Fine. Except that when I tired to tell her my history with other doctors and contacts she downplayed that and assured me she taught the subject and would be better. Ugh wrong, I’m so annoyed. The left contact popped out of my eye before I even made it home and I could not find it. Exactly what I told her would happen. Not sure if she makes money off of follows ups but that’s what was pushed hard. Weirdest part of this ordeal. After paying for the exam and upsell, I asked the person checking me out for my prescription. He told me that I had to wait a week until after the follow up contact visit to get my glasses prescription even though I just paid for both?!?!?!? I’ve never experienced this! I’m skeptical of this place now and I’m so dreading going back for that follow up! Trust gone!

The doctor is very thorough, informative and behind schedule as you would expect for a thorough doctor.. There is a saying: If the doctor is on schedule, question the doctorThe staff was very helpful, pleasant and eager to assist. I did not experience any rudeness that was expressed in previous reviews.As for Walmart, that store is showing signs of neglect and the front bathroom are 50% out of order and yuck!

I went into the Walmart vision center to make an appointment, I stood there at least 15 minutes, then I had to speak, 15 minutes in a place when there is only one customer besides myself and she couldn’t even Acknowledge that I was there. I finally ask if there was another person working and snapped back and said “she’s on break”. The place was dead, and from the reviews, I understand why. They better change personnel before the ones they have now get it closed down,

Couldnt give them negative stars!!!! After waiting for 40 minutes past our appointment. They came out and said they would not see our 6 year old, who had pink eye, because he couldnt do a follow up next week with her. Instead they are going to let a child go all weekend with pink eye because hes lazy. I assume thats why hes working out of a Walmart!!! Should have known better than to go to a Walmart for medical advice. Id probably be better standing out side a holiday inn for advice. But its the weekend and all the real doctor offices are closed. In short dont waste your time!!! Find a REAL doctors office.

Terrible customer service! I showed up at my appointment and was told they hadnt verified my coverage even though I made the appointment 2 weeks before and they had a full 10 days to do so. They left a message on Friday at 3pm (my appt was saturday) and the insurance closed at 5pm. I didnt get the message until after the insurance closed and then it was too late. So, they blamed me because they left me a message and a full 2 hrs before insurance closed when they had 10 days to verify. They have no clue how to deal with customers nor how to take responsibility for their incompetence. The more they blamed me, the more upset and determined not to go back. Dont know if doctor is good or not since I didnt get a chance to see her. But its certain she hasnt trained her staff on customer service.So, Ill just go somewhere else. They lost 3 new patients today, not that they care.

I had an extremely positive experience today at the Valrico Walmart Vision Center. The staff were ALL exceptionally friendly and professional. The exam was very thorough, and the price was right for my budget. They could have a larger selection of frames, but I still was able to find one I liked very much. And it ended up being a $9 pair!!!! The doctor was extraordinarily kind and thorough. (Optometrists are not Walmart employees.) Walmarts optician and technicians were great too. I was not sure what to expect, and this Vision Center exceeded my wildest dreams!!

Cant give a negative star. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I got my glasses here and told them I couldnt see out of them. They were very rude and told me that I just need to move my head around, so my eyes can adjust. Really! Very unprofessional. Stay away.

Your better off calling ! They worry more about the phone rininging then the person in front of them waiting for at least 10 minutes . Been in there twice still can’t get help ! Maybe there reviews wouldn’t be so bad if they actually did their job .

Extremely rude and unprofessional. We took the prescription to the valrico walmart vision on 60 because they had the frames my wife likes. The young black lady with no name tag obviously hates her job and your customers You have lost our business thanks to this person. We have been your customers ever since you opened and have referred dozens of people to this facility. Its to bad the original group went to another walmart when this one closed as they were professional and friendly. Stay Away! Go anywhere but here unless you like RUDE unprofessional disinterested help from this person. To bad we paid for the glasses first or we would have walked.

I walked in with my prescription, placed an order for eyeglasses, and was in and out in no time with a bill for $40 less than the last place I went for arguably nicer glasses. No complaints here.
