Before visiting and doing business with Gold & Diamond Source I would have rated Jared better off of pure ignorance. At Gold & Diamond they had a greeter and security right at the entrance to let you in. At Jared when I took a gold chain in the be fixed I had to push the doorbell (that rang multiple times each time) three times before anyone let me in (as there was a group of employees congregating in the back). I purchased another chain while I was there (only 2 chains in white gold for men to choose from). I took my engagement ring to Gold & Diamond (where my fiance purchased it) to be rhodium plated and cleaned before the wedding. After I dropped off the ring I browsed at their much larger selection of jewelry. They helped me find the exact same chain in white gold for the same price, only they sold 14k gold vs the 10k gold Jared sold. Also with Gold&Diamond I didnt have to purchase an additional warranty. A purchase from Gold & Diamond automatically comes with their quality guarantee and routine cleaning & jewelry maintenance qt no additional cost. A warranty through Jared was going to cost me an additional $330. So I purchased the chain from Gold & Diamond and returned the chain from Jared. Ill be doing business at Gold & Diamond in the future

Went to get a battery changed and the jeweler broke my watch!. It was an everyday watch but he said it was old, it was only 4 years old, and the glue on the face sometimes comes loose! I was shocked. I am so glad I didnt bring my Omega which needs a battery and is very old. He recommended a guy down the street to look at the watch. I am so upset .I will never go back to Jared!!

Terrible customer service and management. My fiance order a engagement ring since Jan 1st and we still have not received it, we havent received a call in regards to what happens nothing. She had to go up there three different times just to be told they cant find the the order and they arent sure who placed the order even tho she gave them the order number multiple times. Finally spoke with a manager who found out what happened and she tells me that we should of received the ring 10 days ago but nobody called to let us know and they still dont have the ring in store absolutely rediculous.
If you close at 7:00pm and I show up to get my ring inspected as required by your policy for insurance purposes at 6:55pm, I expect for you to open the doors. Especially since I live 30 miles away
What a Horrible experience I had today . Went to get my engagement ring inspected and cleaned and also browsing for a new piece for my newborn baby and LIZ the sales associate gave me the poorest customer service. After walking in. No greeting, nothing, Seemed annoyed that I wasn’t buying anything and only getting a basic service . Stated that, since I was only cleaning my ring other associate could help me, because she was too busy for me. I didn’t even have the chance to tell her I was also looking for jewelry for my baby. I left not wanting to ever come back, Not sure if I want to give them my business . Very disappointed. Save your money friends . Go somewhere else where you’re treated professionally.

I was in the Brandon store today. Left with tears in my eyes. I was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I was there just to pick up my engagement ring that I have been without for almost 5 months. I called my husband on my way home to tell him about my experience today and how upset i was, he called and spoke with the lady who was helping me and she told him I was lying about the visit. I was baffled in utter shock she would say that. Dissatisfied and disappointed in the staff and will never go back to Jared. They are only nice if your spending money after that they cant be bothered. If your looking for Anything save time and just go somewhere anywhere else but here. Jackie is the worst.
Not good communication, the people in the front couldn’t find my bracelet, they said it was ready. They were looking for it for 20 minutes. Someone in the back had it. Wasn’t satisfied when they first showed me it, I could still see the crack where it broke so they took it back and fixed it. Then they said I didn’t pay for it which I did. So they had to look it up on the computer to see if I paid for it, even when I handed them the receipt. I came in for a pickup and left 45 minutes later. Not going there again!

I drove up to the store and they were appointment only. (covid and stuff, I totally get that). I called and made an appointment for 4 days later. I take off work and come up to my appointment, they are closed. Said there was flooding, wish someone would have called me as I drove 20 minutes (again things happen no bigy) a women outside schedules me another appointment. I show up that appointment and they are unable to find my appointment (still not mad I get stuff happens). On my 4th visit I was able to get my jewelry in to get fixed, guy was nice no complaints with him although he didnt really know when my earrings would be completed, besides that he was great. He said a week they will be ready (but wasnt sure), a week comes and no call, no email, no anything. Also I should add they told me multiple times (on phone and in person) that I didnt have insurance, I was positive I did and had to dig though my stuff to find proof, then they found it in the computer. I go up to the store 9 days after my drop off and thankfully they are completed. Their doors are locked because of covid and you have to wait to be entered in, I get to the front counter and a women helps me but when she finds out im there to pick something up she trys to pawn me off on someone else, she asked 2 other people to help me but they were busy, she finds my earring and takes photos of them. I start to ask her questions (were they fixed or replace? etc) she is extremely short and tells me she doesnt know. She doesnt know what was done to my jewelry? Considering we spent a good amount on these I wanted to know what quality I was getting my items back in. I felt very rushed and that she was too busy to help me. Following this I go to leave the building and the door is locked, I turn and ask a women behind the counter if I can just unlock the door, and she says no because someone needs to lock it after I exit. So I wait, she asks others to help me but they said theyre too busy. Then she starts questioning who let me in the building (as in I need to go find them to let me out). I stood there until the jeweler came from the back to let me out which was 3-5 minutes. I understand you guys are busy but every experience I had dealing with this location has been negative. The jeweler in the white coat (female) was kind, but that is the only positive thing I can say. Im overly disappointed and Ill be driving to my old location in clearwater from now on. I feel that I was more than understanding.
I had a wonderful experience at Jared. I came in with an idea for an engagement ring I found on the website, I quickly found I didn’t like it as much as I did online. Megan quickly found a couple different setting that were similar, as well as spent hours trying different diamonds in different setting. There was no rushing, or pushing from the staff, and an overall great selection! I would 10/10 recommend to a friend!

Jared earned my lifetime business again today!! My wife went in to have her wedding bands resized and initially our 20 year old transaction couldnt be found. From what my wife tells me she had everyone in the store getting involved to try and search the system for anything that could match my original purchase (back in Pittsburgh in 2000) to find out the details. She was there for about two hours over lunchtime and to make a long story short, they tracked my historical purchases (including a change order from Rochester NY after we moved) so she could get everything done that was needed and honor the initial warranty that I purchased. I called the store to personally thank them and wanted to make sure I made it known publicly what amazing service we received today. You all are the best!
It cost me $127 for a simple ring sizing that had been quoted over the phone for $40-$45.Turns out she incorrectly measured my ring as a size 3 1/2. Who wears a 3 1/2? When I tried to talk to someone about it, I was ignored. Wont be going back.
I went to this location yesterday to have a repair made to a cross charm on a necklace that my wife had purchased there as a Christmas present for me. I was greeted at the door and explained the reason for my visit...............I was shocked when the lady told me there was nothing they could do for me that I could go to a hardware store to try and find set screws and fix it myself or I could just buy another one. Why would I buy another one when Im sure what my wife paid was overpriced in the first place and its your piece of jewelry that has come loose after only a few months.........poor, poor, poor service to say the least.
The young lady that helped us was really great, Megan.Then some other lady gets rude after we wouldnt buy the warranty. It was weird.

I had a very nice experience here. I needed to match a diamond ear ring in a platinum custom setting. They cleaned up and appraised the ear ring I had and were very patient with me and treated me as a preferred customer, this is important to mention because I was wearing my Florida uniform lol shorts, polo and sneakers. After showing me over 10 diamonds they were able to match the diamond I had almost perfectly and they built a setting from scratch to match the one I had. I would have given them a 5 star but the ear rings were not ready when they said and I drove over 100 miles to pick them up.End result was a huge smile on my gals face and a few small tears. I will use them again

Avoid Jareds zero interest financing at all costs. In my experience it was a deceptive practice. Use your own credit or cash, or better yet go somewhere else.

Just left this store after walking around for 15 minutes with not one employee acknowledging my presence. Decided to leave after a lady who walked I after myself had an employee go right to her. I was dressed in Jeans and a t-shirt while this lady (who got out of a BMW) was all decked out in her jewelry. Always cracks me up how salespeople stereotype those by what they are wearing. Will NEVER give to another Jared!
I was able to work with Belinda and Omar. They were great! Belinda was very attentive and made our needs and budget her priority during our visit. She also gave me very frank and genuine advise, gently guiding our purchase! Omar is the type of manager that got in there and assisted with our purchase and facilitating our needs! NO reasonable person could ever be disappointed with this staff and store! My fiance who never enjoys spending money was completely satisfied with our purchase! After my bad review sat on Google for sometime the manager gave me a call and apologized for my previous experience, informed me that the woman who helped us before was no longer with the company, and asked if wed come back in. We did and the service was a complete turn around, we purchased my diamond, and will be purchasing our wedding bands here, the jewelry is so unique, you cant find styles like this at other stores.My previous review ---->BAD EXPERIENCE. The quality is great but you can find it else where for much cheaper and with better service. I am in my early 20s and I grew up coming to this store with my parents and watched my parents purchase gorgeous jewelry from this store, I was so excited to come here and buy my wedding ring. Unfortunately the sales associates stereotyped a young couple and decided we werent going to spend money so they obviously didnt engage in assisting us. Will never shop with Jareds, Ill go drop the $5,000 somewhere else.3 sales associates standing at the entrance and no one offered assistance. We had seek someone out to help us. Usually they offer water or coffee and they also offer to clean your jewelry if they see youre wearing any. Not this time. We looked at several rings and after declining their credit card the associate disappeared ( she didnt know that we were paying cash). We had to then ask for more help because I needed my bracelet fixed that I had gotten as a gift from here some time ago, the associate told me it didnt need to be fixed and I had to convince her it did. I was very polite and the associate wasnt rude just unhelpful. We didnt feel welcomed and didnt feel that our $5,000 was good here either.
The jewelry is beautiful and the customer service was great. The only reason I didnt give it a five star rating was because all of the female employees had half their breast showing. It took away from the quality of the experience. When Ive thought of Jareds in the past, Ive always thought of them as a quality and classy establishment. Thats why I chose to shop there. Again, the manager and his assistant were wonderful.It took away from the total experience.
I get my diamonds and gold cleaned and inspected here and they have always been pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. Calm peaceful and glimmeringly beautiful interior. Typical Jared’s in all the best ways. :-)
IF there was a zero star rating, I wouldve selected that! The customer service was terrible. I picked up a Tag Grand Carrera after a repair and paid $813.75, the watch is returned in a small plastic bag wrapped in foam. No instructions or advice on care, maintenance, etc. No offer to set the time and date, nothing! I suggest anyone looking for a repair on watches or anything else to take your business somewhere else!
Frank was absolutely amazing. He was honest and patient. Once I described what I was looking for he ran with it. I was nervous if I would find something better than what I had. This was a 20yr upgrade. And I have to say I am IN LOVE with my ring. Went in looking for one thing and after trying it on i realized it was not what I wanted. Frank pulled all different styles and looks to see what caught my eye. I was a little sad to say good bye to my old ring but once I saw the new one.....ooohhh Im so in love!!

Jareds customer service is that I can wait over 8 months to wear my ring because they cannot resize, even though I paid extra when I bought my ring to have these extra perks.
My daughter and I walked in on our way home from buying plants and I noticed my ring looked rather dirty. So we pulled in walked to the jewelers area and no one even said Hello. There was a male employee leaning against the counter with a tablet in his hands and a female employee sitting on the floor. The other few employees huddled together. After standing there for 5 minutes I walked up and asked for help, the laptop guy says, ever so surprised, no one has helped you I asked, if he would be so kind and clean my ring, please and thank you. He asked if I bought it there, I replied, no He comes back to tell me my diamonds are loose and he said its his policy, he cannot clean my ring now. Hmmm. I stopped at a local jeweler and asked if they would check my ring, surprise no loose diamonds!! I didnt buy my ring from Jared The Galleria of Jewelry because of the 1. Lousy service 2. Poor quality diamonds. My husband bought my ring at Costco, VS2 clarity and H color theirs are I1/I2 and I in color and significantly more expensive and my ring is platinum. I strongly urge those who are in the market to check out Costco before purchasing ever at Jared The Galleria of Jewelry.

I went in to have my ring I bought there fixed, the stone fell out. They were really busy and it was chaotic. One lady working tried handing me a ring that wasnt mine next to the owner of the ring. Good grief. Then a lady working started greeting the people standing behind me in line and helping them, they had been waiting a few minutes compared to my 20 minutes with a young toddler.

Do NOT go to Jared if you are looking for good communication, customer service or transparent operations. My wife and i went to Jareds looking for a custom anniversary ring On July 20th. 4-6 week completion and delivery estimated. Sept 26th i was notified it was ready. 10 weeks and missing our anniversary. Sometimes this happens. Ok, i understand. However, they handed us a ring with a replacement stone. WRONG STONE. The stone is a different cut, and is estimated by Tampa Gemological Laboratory to be worth at least $1,000 less than our stone we left in their trust. As Im writing this we have not received an explanation of where our stone is or how this could of happened. Our stones were shipped to California WITHOUT our knowledge. We were told all custom work was done right there at their location. I will update this review as the case progresses. At this time our situation has been given to a cooperate person and a Case Specialist. The GM of the location was made aware of the situation on October 3rd. It is now October 9th and we have not been contacted. Jareds has quickly turned something that is supposed to be a reminder of something special into an unpleasant experience that will not be forgotten.**UPDATE**Amazingly 4 hours after this review was posted we were contacted by the case specialist. Apparently Jareds is saying we were told of the issue of the stone on Aug 22nd. LIES. IF we were told of an issue we are supposed to be given options and approve any gems being used. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. They DO NOT have a signature/ digital communications or other giving our consent. Also Id like to point out that at this time, Jareds or an affiliation to, have possession of our stone. We have never signed over ownership or been monetarily compensated for this stone.We have been told that this may take some time to sort out. Unbelievable.

Absolutely the worst customer service in existence. Have had my engagement ring for 2 months and the 18 kt silver platinum prong is bent, have the warranty, live an hour and a half away, called a week in advance to let them know i was coming. Arrived at 11 am as discussed, was told they would try and get it out before 8 pm. Understandably likely busy, but when I called to follow up 5 hours after dropping it off, BRAD was the absolute worst to talk with on the phone. Was told if i had to drive an hour and a half home maybe i should come back he willLock it up. No, i have other jewelry stores closer to where I live, be appreciative of the fact we passed many to come to your store BRAD. But I can assure you sir, this will be our last visit. You got a lot of our money but you won’t get anymore. I’ll drive an hour and a half the other direction. Thank You. Sharpen your skills in customer service or you’ll get ate alive.

July 17, 2017I had a great experience at the Jareds in Brandon. We ordered my wedding ring and when it arrived it wasnt quite what we expected. The staff at Jareds was able to show us a ring we liked better and not only that but to upgrade to that ring at no additional charge. They really tried to make our experience a good one! Then when my new ring arrived we actually ordered that one too small as well. :/ I wore the size 5 1/2 ring on our honeymoon for a whole week and when we got back I couldnt take it anymore my finger was like a squeezed sausage! Nicole sent me to the A Brandon fire station (woop woop rescue 16 🙌🏻) and it was cut off! Hallelujah! Your employee teejay is wonderful. He helped me so much with my watch. He completely refurbished it and it looks brand new. Predatory sales people. especially the closers.
I went to Jareds on Saturday to look at the Pandora jewelry and purchase a special Christmas gift..Upon entering the store, the staff did not greet me or ask me if I needed any assistance. So, I found the Pandora section and stood at the showcase counter for 10 minutes waiting to be helped..meanwhile...an older male walked over and stood beside me... a sales associate quickly approached him and asked if she could help him...so Im thinking...hummm Ive been standing here for 10 minutes and no ones offered to assist me! I patiently waited...2 more sales associates came over and they both completely ignored me. I continued to wait...15 minutes later..Im still standing at the showcase counter...waiting... another customer came over and again the sales associate was quick to assist them! The customer even had the nerve to ask me to move out of his way so he could look at the charms! Really!? Rude!!! JustI turned around and saw a sales associate looking at me so I asked him if he could help me...he said what are you here to purchase? I said..I would like to look at the gold Pandora charms. He disappeared to help another customer so at that point I almost walked out of the store!Finally a sales associate came and asked me if she could help me..I said sure..Ive been standing here for over 20 minutes and Id like to look at a few Pandora charms. The associate was patient as I selected the charms... then she took me to the far back side of the store to ring me up. I paid for my Pandora charms and assumed they would come with a Pandora gift box... instead..the sales associate put them in a generic looking box..I asked her if I could have them put in a Pandora isbox and gift bag...she sighed and said ..umm this is all we have..we are out of Pandora charm boxes and gift bags. Really?!? I find that hard to believe...So I took the generic charm boxes and Jared bag and left the store.. Im sitting in my car for 3 minutes checking my text messages and notice a lady walking out with a Pandora gift bag! I was so mad...I dont think I will go back to this Jared Shop....the staff at this location needs to be trained in customer service...not impressed at all.
