Very thorough, I appreciate the level of detail that is in the inspection report. I own two Toyota vehicles and typically do my own maintenance, but if I cant, wont or shouldnt, then I bring my vehicles here. I bought a 30k mile service for CS Automotive at a charity auction and forgot about it. Two years later they not only honored it, but did a great job. They kept me informed, made drop off and pick up a breeze, sent me an email with pertinent information about my vehicles passes and things to look after soon. They even washed my car and left me mints inside with a note from the person who serviced my car. I felt valued and a bit pampered, rather like Id had a car spa service!

I was referred from someone that recently received repair work from CS Motors. They were professional and helpful in getting me to understand what was going on with my car. Due to their knowledge about cars, I felt comfortable and was able to trust what was suggested. The facility was nicely decorated and comfortable to sit and wait until car repair(s) were complete. Took our car in to have a windshield wiper issue evaluated. We didnt know if we would have to replace the entire assembly or just the arm, and hoped to get a Toyota part here easily and avoid the dealer.- They insisted on looking the car over head to toe despite us bringing it in for a very specific issue.- They found a myriad of issues. For example, they mentioned our tires needed replacing, when the week before I had actually had a TIRE shop tell me those tires didnt need replacing. They find that the brake fluid cap was missing and wanted to flush it, despite me having had the oil changed the week before at our regular place and them not having noticed this.- We agreed to have them replace the wiper arm, only to find out that they would have to order the part and it would be a few days anyways. According to them, the part was $100, the job would be $150. Still agreed, until they asked for a $130 *deposit* on the job. That is right, they wanted a $130 deposit on a $100 part. That is when we walked away.We wound up having to pay $70 for the diagnostic we never wanted, just to get out of there. On the plus side, they detailed our car nicely.P.s. We had our brake fluid flushed at our local mechanic for about $50 less than CS quoted. We ordered and replaced the wiper arm ourselves for about $60.

I needed a pre-purchase inspection done on a used car, and only had a couple of days to obtain the inspection/make a decision on the car. I live out of state and was facing significant logistical hurdles getting a timely inspection completed. CS Automotive bent over backwards to make this happen. They went above and beyond. I was recommended CS Auto by my brother in law. Im super glad he did! I have a Toyota Rav4 that had several check engine lights appear one day. I took it in for a diagnostic. Lori was very communicative throughout the entire process. Phone calls, emails and text updates about parts. I even used a loaner car while my car stayed in the shop for several days.I liked the breakdown of costs via email and the explanation of things they found during the diagnostic. Ive never experienced such a thorough and comprehensive inspection in my life. After dropping it off, they got back to me quickly with a detailed list of recommendations. They even included pictures for reference and explained why/when/how for each recommendation. I called them back later to narrow down what is a priority (which they were very frank about). The work itself was excellent and the pricing was very similar to what I got from estimates elsewhere.Also, despite calling more times than I care to publicize, the front desk was extremely patient with me. It was the first time I have ever heard a mechanic say we encourage you to ask questions. I feel not only much more confident in how my vehicle runs, but also better informed in how to maintain it.

We have been going to CS for our automotive needs for the past few years and love them. They deliver when they say, their work is top quality and you can believe what they say. When doing a job, they will also tell you what to keep an eye on. They dont try to up sell you. They also offer a reasonable car check up before buying . CS specializes in Toyota and Lexus, which if you have ever paid Lexus prices for work, this is a total win. Wont take my car anywhere else. P.S. the waiting area is comfortable and attractive. There are NO ‘slackers’ in this operation. I have called upon Rob and his crew, exclusively, since 2015. My only regret is not having found these great professionals earlier. The job I am currently reviewing was major and there was no doubt that my friends (YES, MY FRIENDS) at CS would be entrusted with my AVA (2007 Avalon). The old girl loves the treatment she gets and so do I. Is this review a little on the ‘highly complimentary’ side? You bet! But there is no exaggeration in these words. If you are currently not having CS Automotive take care of your ride and your transportation investment then you should do yourself a favor and have them do your next auto repair/service. YOU WILL NOT REGRET THAT YOU DID. I never have either.

I have a 2001 Sequoia that I refuse to part with. Naturally there comes a time when replacing parts and continuing general service are required. I only entrust those repairs and service to CS Automotive. The facility is modern and immaculate. The staff is genuinely helpful and accommodating. I have never had an issue with the work done. I dont shop around for other estimates because I trust they are fair with me. I am certain they are considerably more reasonable than the dealer. If you want consistently good service from a bunch of very nice and skilled people, take your vehicle to CS. I only wish they would sell me the 2005 Sequoia they use as a courtesy vehicle.

Toyota dealer said my Highlander needed 4-wheel alignment. I had not asked about alignment. I was there for warranty work. I was suspicious. I had never been to CS Automotive, but read good things about them. I am very pleased that I chose CS Automotive for the alignment. This is my first repair service from them, and I will be back!

I have a 14 year old truck with 182k miles on it. The 200k mark for most vehicles is when you really have to drop a chunk of change to keep it going and be relatively problem-free for another 200k miles. Most of these high-mileage maintenance items are beyond my knowledge, capabilities, and time constraints.I usually do most other maintenance items myself and I am extremely picky about who I take my truck to (I took to a Toyota dealer in downtown Nashville once, got my truck back with sloppy rear brakes and a missing backing plate grommet.. I had to replace the grommet and readjust the brakes. I was not happy). If the job takes less than 4 hours without highly specialized tools, I will do it myself.The owner, Rob, was very clear and communicative with me the entire time of the service process. I am very happy so far with the service they have provided, they keep a clean and orderly shop, and it looks like everyone really enjoys their jobs and goof around from time to time. Thats important to me, because enjoying your job will manifest through the quality of work that you do. This will be my go-to shop from now on, but I hope it will be a good long while before I ever have to go back! :)

Honestly, the best experience i have had at any sort of car repair place. It was like a completely different world. They were able to drop me off at work, completed the work i asked correctly, explained any other issues, and didnt pressure me into anything. I took my car here for a 30K service. They provided a car loaner, which was very helpful for my one-car family. As promised, my car was ready by the afternoon. Everything was fine, except for an usual loud noise in the air vent. I called and spoke to Lori. She promptly scheduled for a next day appointment and reassured that they will fix the problem. I had to cancel and reschedule a few times due to a family emergency. It turned out I didn’t need to bring my car back since the noise subsided. I guess a leaf might have fell in the vent during the service. Regardless, I appreciated how persistent Lori was in trying to help me reschedule my appointment. One small, small, small complaint is I wish they had installed a better quality windshield wiper. Overall, I’m pleased with my experience at CS Auto. I won’t be returning to the Lexus dealership. Instead, I’ll be coming here for future services. Thank you to all the CS Auto staff!

I have been going to CS Automotive for close to three years now. They have worked on my Infiniti multiple times in that span mostly doing basic oil changes and other minor/moderate maintenance. One time they rotated my tires, and forgot to balance them. They were very apologetic, got me in immediately, and fixed the problem. No harm no foul. They are a top notch shop.

FINALLY a repair shop you can trust! I have been taking all my vehicles to CS Automotive since 2007 and they always do great work. VERY reasonably priced, especially considering they dont try to up-sell you on work that doesnt need done. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain everything- its not unusual for the repair tech to come out and tell you what he found, things to keep an eye on, etc. Highly recommended!

These guys are the best. We can trust that work is done with integrity and reasonable prices. We got an synthetic oil change and the they did an overall inspection and then explained what was urgent and what could wait. We dont take our vehicles anywhere else!!

Would not recommend. I took my truck in to have my drive belt inspected and replaced and left with a $1k+ list of “necessary” repairs and $60 less in my pocket. “Drive belt squeaks when cold” seems like it would be an easy problem to diagnose and not one that should require a drive around the block to recreate the noise. A simple check for wear is all it takes. Another shop found cracks in the thread in just a few minutes, didn’t require a diagnostic check, and replaced it faster than CS could have finished their unsolicited full 1000 point inspection. It’s entirely my fault for signing the paper without noticing the price, and I thank them for bumping it down $20, but it shouldn’t cost $80 to look at a drive belt... Add on the list of “Immediate Attention Required” repairs, including a total brake system flush (photo of testing strip clearly shows nearly brand new fluid and 10-30 ppm copper, interpreted results are dark fluid 100-200 ppm copper... faint white/pink vs welch’s grape purple... I guess color blindness isn’t picked up in their interview process), tensioner and pulley system replacement (no issues noted by other shop), new windshield wipers (really?), and a cabin air filter (really?). Questionable honesty and overpriced. Took my business elsewhere.

Really like this business. Tim helped me right away replace both low beam bulbs...I think I lucked out in that...they werent $100 a piece. I am thankful they offered a lower cost alternative. I need a few higher priced repairs and maintenance...I will become a regular customer here. Check them out. I think youll be surprised!

Scam! How does this place have a 5-star rating?This was my experience at CS Automotive on January 3rd...Took my Lexus in for a diagnoses/repair estimate of my air ride suspension system, because my regular mechanic could not do this repair. Waited 7 hours for a response, then was emailed an (unsolicited) list of dire repairs needed at a cost of $6000. This list of repairs did not include the air ride suspension that I originally asked to be checked and the entire reason my truck was there. I immediately called and spoke to Jeff and asked about the air ride suspension repair?He suggested my truck threw a code for an air bag sensor in the drivers seat that was affecting my air ride suspension. At first I thought he was kidding, but oh no, he was very serious! I told him to do the repair, but felt something was wrong. I went online and found the code he gave me on a TSB bulletin. Just as I thought, this code had nothing to do with air ride suspension, instead it was a code for the drivers side air bag! Called him the next morning and told him we were not on the same page and to please have his tech check my air ride, not the air bag. A few hours later they found that issue too. Needless to say, I was done! I paid the $120 diagnostic fee and was on my way.The next day, I took the list of repairs to my regular mechanic, who laughed at the repair list and reminded me he had done two of the repairs on the list within the past year. Again, Id love to know how this place has a 5-star rating, after my awful experience.

I recently took my Toyota to CS Auto when I noticed my brakes grinding. Many times in the past, I (and Ill bet you, too) have received the call from the repair shop, in which they recommended repairs that didnt make a lot of sense at a price that seemed completely inappropriate for the work needed. My experience at CS Auto was the complete opposite -- I felt informed and educated about the condition of my vehicle, which made it really easy to make a confident decision about repairs.After I dropped my car off, I was elated to receive two emails: 1) A full report about my vehicle telling me what was wrong and what needed to be fixed by priority. It was incredibly informative, educational, and helpful. 2) An invoice itemizing each recommended item/service I needed to purchase for my vehicle.There was also a note that they would call me later to talk through everything giving me plenty of time to review and digest the report and invoice so I would be able to make a logical purchase decision.I cannot say that Ive ever experienced the level of transparency and quality of service from an automotive service center. I could probably count on one hand how many reviews I actually ever take the time to write, but the service here was so outstanding that I wanted to take the time to write this.I have two Toyotas - 99 Landcruiser and a 2006 4Runner and will have them both serviced at CS Auto from this point forward.

Went to CS Automotive for oil change, alignment and brake check. Staffs are all nice. However, they told me to change my front brakes/rotors/pad totalling $800 but I had changed all 4 brakes last year. I got suspicious and went to Budget Brakes - and they told it there is no any issues that needs to checked for any brakes. So I learned CS automotive is a fraud and ripping off customers. They took my $227 just for oil change, alignment check, AC work (which was not meant to be fixed). Really disappointed :(

Climate controlled waiting area is small but comfortable - with free wifi for their customers, big screen tv hanging on the wall, comfortable chairs, and friendly staff.If I had to sum it all up in a couple words I would simple say: Honest Mechanic -- need I say more : )

After moving to the area and researching available automotive services, we came to find CS and have not been disappointed. They have done several different services for us and we can always trust in what they say. We will keep using them for all our cars needs.

I was traveling through Nashville and noticed my heater wasnt working; the car wasnt heating up. I googled auto service and found CS Automotive. Took a chance and pulled in. Went inside, very friendly reception. I explained my issue and they said they were booked up, but would go ask a mechanic. He offered to come out and take a quick look. In a matter of minutes he explained that he thought the thermostat was stuck open. He couldnt take care of it then, but suggested that the car would be okay for my immediate purposes. Was great to run into a responsive and responsible shop. Id seek them out again if I were in Nashville.

Found this place on the internet. Was impressed by so many 5 star reviews.Ive spent $5k with them in the last 30 days as they have serviced three of my cars (Lexus 430, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Tacoma). Im very, very pleased. The place is immaculate, the people are knowledgable and friendly and the prices are better than the dealership. These cats are the BEST--- I recommend them to all my friends, family and co-workers regardless of their car make/model/year/problem. After having a few lemons over the years and going through mechanic after mechanic, I became pretty savvy to who was honest and did quality work and who didnt-- all that to say, CS Auto won me over hands-down. If I have to fork out money for car maintenance/repair, Im happy to give it to them because I know theyll do it right the first time for the best price, and never do anything without my approval. Also, they have free cookies and Wi-Fi...need I say more?

The best mechanic in all of Middle TN. When you get your first service, they do a thorough inspection on your car and provide a detailed report which I appreciated very much.
