Great service! Evan was so helpful and patient. Best coffee
I picked up coffees for a coworker and myself this afternoon. The staff was so helpful and courteous to help with gift cards issues I was having. I want to thank both the gentleman working the register for the wonderful service. I cant wait to stop in again and again to try everything on the menu!
Throwback- great atmosphere but really fantastic coffee!
Best waffles and coffee. Its hard to please my New Orleans kids cause they compare everything we eat to food from back home. And they said hands down the best
Their campfire mocha is amazing. I also got a build it yourself omelette which was pretty good too. It’s pretty crowded and a little overpriced, but the customer service was superb. We waited about 15 minutes for our food.
Great food, good service, fast orderHighly recommended 👌
Love this spot. Been to 2 locations and enjoyed them both. Love sitting on the patio.
Loved this place! The crepes and lattes were delicious, and the staff is super friendly. Just moved to the area, so I’m on the hunt for my new favorite local coffee shop, and this is definitely up there now!
My crepe and late was very good but the waffles could be better. A blueberry waffle should have blueberries cooked in it not just on top... so 2 of the 4 guest enjoyed it and 2 did not.
Great coffee ☕ and delicious breakfast. Try the crepes, waffles and Portuguese muffin sandwiches 😋
Good coffee. Havent tried the food yet but it always smells so good in there. People are very friendly and helpful.
Great and light breakfast. Not fatty at all.Just a little longer wait time due to Sunday crowd.
Best waffles in brentwood. My daughter just loves them. Its nice to be able to take my family someplace that we can feel safe. They actually enforce wearing masks and that gives me peace of mind in these scary times. Oh the coffee is good too.
Good food. Loved sitting outside for breakfast!
Super cozy neighborhood breakfast place. Highly recommend you get here early or your not getting a seat.
Nice breakfast place.
Delicious food and friendly staff, but small on the inside.
Had an amazing brunch meal here! Nice outdoor seating and not too busy. Nice little place, great local business to support. Crepes and waffles were great. The wait time for food was a bit long, but well worth the wait!
Cute little coffee shop w/ really delicious crepes.
Had some dessert crepes here after lunch one day, and they were delicious. Moreover, the staff was friendly and highly competent!
Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious.
Good drinks and food. And table spacing has always been social-distancing compliant, even before it was a thing!
Honestly would maybe give this place less then 1 star. Been to this location numerous times and the wait time is absolutely unreal for such average food. Most recent time was told we would get our food in 20-30 minutes. We ended up waiting around an hour and half to get our food and it was barely warm. Would not recommend coming here if you are hungry.
I really enjoy The Perch. The food is really delightful. During this time of pandemic I habe been very impressed with their mask policy and that they actual enforce it. Kudos to them and keep up the amazing work!
SUPERB! We were passing through town. Stopped for breakfast. Omelettes, muffins, crepes delish. Ordered a Lavender London fog with earl grey and it was divine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! GREAT SERVICE and FOOD!
Super cute place! Smaller but very cozy! Great coffee!
The waffle was delicious.
My mexican crepe and turmeric latte were great. I wish I had that salsa at home. They get an extra star because they actually take masks seriously and I felt safe eating there.
Good coffee ☕
Great crepes. Wonderful coffee and teas.
I absolutely love this place. I discovered it when I first moved to Nashville and have been a loyal customer ever since :) my favorite is the lavender and honey lattes!!
Very disappointed. With few people there and too few cooks, wait for crepes and anything other than omletes was going to be an hour. They were out of grits. Omletes were super thin and overloaded with cheese. Bacon was rubbery and felt like it was cooked in microwave. Salad that came with the omlete was simply lettuce and a cheap Italian dressing. It will be a long time before I come back.
Small cozy, simple, little neighborhood restaurant. Fabulous coffee, crepes, omelets and Belgian Waffles.
Great place....we enjoyed the waffles....coffee was great too...nice patio....will go back soon.
I just love The Perch. They have good coffee and great crepes. The atmosphere is perfect for a small coffeehouse feel and spread out enough to have personal conversations.
You want crepes! Well this place will satisfy your needs!
Fantastic! A bit cramped, but well worth it.
The Nordic crepe is AMAZING! Ive tried a few of their crepe offerings and they are delicious, but, the Nordic is my favorite. Coffee is good and priced a bit less than the chain coffee places. The seating is not terrific. The two top tables can barely fit 2 plates and 2 coffees. Chairs arent comfy, either. Service is always good, though they do get backed up on the crepes (worth the wait). Very clean restaurant and restroom. Nice lighting and ambiance.
This was a cool little place. Definitely that mom and pop vibe to it. The menu was straight forward. Build your own omelettes, which was awesome. The Belgium waffles were probably the best I’ve ever had. Coffee was really good as well. It’s a smaller place but it was the perfect breakfast spot for 2.
Great coffee!
The food was delicious!
The Nordic crepe is one of the greatest things I have ever tasted. The atmosphere here is fantastic. Staff are super friendly. They also accidentally brought us a plate of eggs and bacon we didnt order and let us keep them. Will absolutely be repeat customers.
Had been here a couple of times before, was pleasant, okay food, nice atmosphere. Came here again Sunday morning, went in, ordered, sat down. There were several empty tables inside and outside, so it wasnt crowded. Waited half an hour, nothing, so I went up to the counter and politely asked where our food was. We were told our order was up next. Sat down. Fifteen minutes later no food, and people next to us who came in 10 minute after us got their food. We went back up to the counter, and were told that our order was up next 45 minutes after ordering. We demanded our money back and left. We definitely will not be going back, I dont know whats wrong with these people.
One of our favorite places!
Such a darling little coffee shop! I enjoy this so much better than Starbucks. It has a warm, cozy feeling. All of the food is made to order and it is all so tasty! I had the sugar and cinnamon crepes. They were so good! Their beverages are all superb. I highly recommend this place if you want a break from Starbucks.
I love crepes, while Im looking for a good place for crepes I learned about this place and wanted to check it out. It is an interesting ambience, very welcoming staff, skilled chefs and wonderful food. It was a pleasure experience overall. The place is almost always full and the wait time for crepes is about 15-20 min or so usually but the food is definitely worth the wait. My favorite one is nutella crepe with banana, it is absolutely delicious. Also their Belgium waffle is really good too.Its a cute little place with reasonable price, experienced chefs and delicious food. Definitely 5 stars. Way to go!
The Perch is good. The coffee is good. However, the space is quite small, the food is okay, and there is a bit of a pretentious vibe going on. I would be happier with the food if the prices more appropriately reflected what you get. It is plated to look good, but does not necessarily taste as it good as it looks.
Very good spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The menu is limited in a good way. Their focus is crepes and some other light fare. The coffee selection is good too! The decor is simple and comfortable and they have outdoor seating for good weather days.
It’s small, slow, and 100% worth it.You should pick the time you go in order to avoid a crowd. They have good outside seating when weather allows, and the food is fantastic.
Excellent food and coffee! The crepes are some of the best Ive had! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Its a small place, very nice decor though. Highly recommend!
I absolutely loved my crepe that I got here! Got the banana and nutella and added strawberries also. Its a very cute spot, but just a little small if it gets busy.
Amazing crepes...I had the Nordic Crepe with the salmon and capers—it was incredible! I also got to try turkey + brie with balsamic crepe, and that didnt disappoint either. The spot is busy and seating is limited, but I didnt see anybody lingering around waiting for a table.Great brunch spot...Ill definitely be back.
The facilities are not very posh. Its in a older home. YOU write down your order. A interesting menu. The coffee was very good. I had a crepe which was huge with ham and mozzarella. The crepe was a little on the thick side but still rather tasty. I recommend you try it at least once. It was rather busy and I was there on a tuesfay morning.
VERY bad service. The worker would not even acknowledge i was at the counter.
Excellent crepes, coffee & tea. Prompt service. Crowded dining areas. Pricey beverages. Friendly people and fresh ingredients worth the minor issues.
Great coffee. Amazing salads. Crepes are good. The crew there are caring and human.
The crepes were awesome. The place is kinda small and was really crowded on a Saturday morning. The wait was upwards of 30 minutes if you wanted a crepe. Great for 2 or 3 people, but would be difficult for groups any larger than that.
Coffee is good. Nice selection of drinks. Liked the creapes as well. Good choice for a mid-morning get together.
I love The Perch. I go there whenever I want to meet with friends over coffee and breakfast or early lunch. My favorites are the Omelettes as well as the crepes. But most of all I love the setting. Its as a coffee shop should be - busy, a constant coming and going, different corners with different tables, some closer to the kitchen, some in a separate room that is more quiet, some outside on the sidewalk under umbrellas. Even when its crowded, you can almost always find a seat. The service is efficient and friendly, and I love that its not a big chain like Starbucks. If I have one critique, its that their lattes are sometimes not hot enough, which is easily remedied by asking for extra hot when I remember. Two big thumbs up for The Perch!
Slow service. One of their waffle machine broke and their best solution is it is going to be another 20 minutes vs offering another item or discount. We had already waited a long time for this. They were also out of other food. Would not recommend this place too many other good options in Brentwood
Good espresso and savory crepes.
Great coffee with free refills. Im not much of a crepe eater but they always smell delicious. I also love the outdoor seating out front. It can get a little busy at peak hours, but its a great spot to work in the afternoons if you want to sit outside and have wifi and coffee.
The dining areas are small and tight with small tables as well as table toppers. This place has limited seating capacity and it will get crowded.Their coffee was fantastic, I ordered the perch blend and found it very flavorful and not to strong. My entree was a build your own omelette with cheese, bacon and chorizo as well as cheddar cheese. The Omelette portion size was perfect I would probably say about three eggs and it was served with a side of mixed greens and a balsamic vinaigrette (the leafy greens were fresh and crisp). However, The Omelette was overcooked. It was essentially burnt a bit certainly edible but it was still not ideally cooked like it should have been. You order up at the at the register and they give you a corresponding number that you place at your table and then just wait for your food to be brought out to you. Its a pretty quick experience especially if youre in a hurry it works well. The staff was friendly courteous and professional.
I went there yesterday for the first time and loved it! The service was great and the crepe I had was delicious! I thought the staff were very friendly and upbeat. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Stopped in for a macchiato the other day. It was good enough; seemed more sweet than rich in coffee flavor though. While looking them up for this review I see that they dont open until 8am?? I know its Saturday and all but a coffee place should be open by 6am.
Service was fast and the food was good! Reasonably priced (crepe and latte for less than $10). Its small, but definitely cozy. Perfect for a quick bite.
I know they are known for their crepes but those waffles are fluffy and filling and just delicious! The coffee options are plentiful but a little pricey if you ask me. Staff always nice and make recommendations that never disappoint!
The Perch came recommended to me by a friend who knows I am a coffee connoiseur and former barista, so of course I had to make a stop by this morning to check it out. Little did I know, I was in for a pleasant surprise!I definitely have to say, my latte was one for the books! Absolutely delectable...perfect amount of foam, perfect amount of flavors, and perfect temperature!! To top it all off, the staff was friendly and very helpful answering a few questions I had about the menu. 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend!
Loved their snores crepe and coffee. Quaint little place with small cozy tables.
A cute little spot for breakfast! The crepes were really good and we were able to eat outside. Coffee was quite good also.
Small breakfast spot, but big in flavor.
Oh my goodness, I had such high hopes for this one and was so disappointed. The inside was full which is understandable, but when we went outside there were 5 open tables -- all with used plates and other remains from the people who last sat there. We cleared off our own table and so did anyone else that decided to sit outside. And let me tell you, the smell of breakfast food left under the hot sun is sickening. A customer actually got fed up and started clearing and cleaning on his own. It was embarrassing. He pointed it out to an employee and the guy picked up one set of plates and never came back for the 5 other piles. I will say, however, that the food was delishious. But Ill never know what my waffles would have tasted like with syrup since the waitress who said shed be right back with it never appeared again. Oh and using plastic utensils because there wasnt any clean silverware. It was as if they had never been open for brunch on a Sunday and were totally unprepared. Im willing to try out their other locations but Ill never be back at this one.
One of Brentwood’s best coffee shops. Crepes are excellent. Cozy boutique feel
Really delicious coffee! And the waffle was also very tasty: crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. My friends enjoyed their food and coffee as well. Id return to this coffee shop any time!
The coffee and food were good but the decor is non existent and theres no doors for barriers so the noise carries from people and the music. If u want a quiet place better get outside seating or get your order to go. Doors to the back room would create a quiet space for guests.
My FAVORITE place to go!! It’s a little small so finding a seat can be hard sometimes but they have the best cheese grits and crepes that I have ever had in the US. Love this place so much. Go try it!!
Wow...highly recommend The Perch on Franklin Road in Brentwood for breakfast!!! They advertisebest crepes in town and they arent kidding! Enjoyed this with my sweet guy and we will definitely be back!
Crepes are great. The wait was a little long. I felt like others came after me and got served first, but maybe I didnt see them. They were accommodating to my additions. Had a mushroom spinach and added bacon and egg. Great.
Great, quaint place to eat breakfast.
Excellent service, great food, smiles all around.. would definitely recommend. Was told it was normally busy, but when I arrived it was Fri morning and wasnt busy at all.
I was disappointed they couldnt make scrambled eggs without cream in them. No I cant have dairy. Oh its just a little bit. Can you make it without cream? No we cant you can have an egg white scramble. Can you include the whole egg I dont understand? No. Most of the coffee urns were empty and I was there 30 minutes and they never did fill them up. Thumbs down big time.
I love the small café atmosphere. The crepes are exquisite (I had a peanut butter and banana and added strawberries, and my friend had one of their savory crepes with chicken)!!Also, they have dairy free options for drinks that use milk, which is something that makes us very happy, as it is difficult to find good dairy free options sometimes. We got chai lattes with almond milk and they were delicious.
Charming little spot with limited seating but loads of appeal. Crepes are delicious, and offer a lot of variety. Coffee is excellent. Fast casual meets bohemian.
