Do not use this company.Hope Kitchen has a lot to learn about customer service. Very poor. After installing a new kitchen for me, Hope Kitchens in Bridgeport wants to charge me $35 (!) for touchup paint I need to cover a dime sized mark caused by some unknown painter or carpenter in my house.They said that the kitchen comes with touch up paint but that the installers used it all. Huh?This seems like an exorbitant amount for paint to fix a very small yet visible mark on my brand new cabinets.I am not confident that the shade of white can be accurately matched by an outside company.Other issues were encountered with the installation where cabinets were not measured properly yet they looked correct on the presented drawings and i was told i had to pay for the correction because i had signed off on the order. This took an incredible amount of negotiation to get corrected.Bottom line : go elsewhere for cabinets.
Everything was done, cabinets and countertops, as promised. Tina gave us just the right amount of guidance without trying to up sell anything. There was a slight bit of damage to a cabinet, which we noticed later. They sent service people and it was corrected perfectly. Totally satisfied.
Wonderful experience with the folks at Hope kitchens. Stuart guided us through the sale and accommodated our needs. We had visited several other companies to look at countertops but chose Hope Kitchens because of their professionalism. Thanks again Stuart to you and your company for helping complete our kitchen
The first weekend in March I went to Hope Kitchen looking for an estimate for kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops. We met with Tina and she seemed knowledgeable and willing to help. She said she needed time to design our kitchen and figure out the price. We left her with all of our contact information. A week later we didnt anything so we contacted her. She said she would have something for us by that Friday. Again, we heard nothing.Last week, over a month later, I called the store and explained the situation. I was told that Tina was out of the office. With Covid that didnt surprise me so when the receptionist, Kim, asked if I would like to send her our information via email so her manager could help us, I agreed. She confirmed she received all of the documents and pictures I sent and told me I should hear back with a quote in 24 hours. That was over a week ago.I dont know how they stay in business, but I definitely do not recommend wasting your time here.
We had such a positive experience using Hope to renovate our kitchen last year, that were using them again for help with a bathroom renovation. We worked with Stuart, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He came to measure, worked with us to create a design, steered us through the pros & cons of the various possibilities, and then came again to re-measure to make sure everything was accurate when the order was filed. The cabinets, which were installed in one day, were ready for installation in less than 2 weeks. The quartzite counter tops a week later. When my appliances were installed, I decided to exchanged the dishwasher I had ordered for a different model. This change, unfortunately, left a gap between the appliance and the cabinet. I called Stuart, who came by that day. He measured for a strip to match the cabinets that would hide the gap. This he had made and dropped by a few days later, at no charge. He was amazing. So helpful and a pleasure to work with. Some friends were so impressed with our kitchen, and our experience, that they renovated their own kitchen using Hope. They were equally as impressed.Many thanks to Stuart, and to Hope Kitchen Cabinets, for making the renovation process so easy.
Absolutely horrendous experience at Hope Kitchen. Their customer service is just awful. (I am sure all the good reviews here are paid for.) None of the staff was helpful and they dont really return phone calls by claiming they were with other customers (as if I wasnt a customer too) and they didnt have any cell phone services all day. The only time they were nice and reach out to me was when they wanted my credit card info.That was not the worst part. They came to pick up our bathroom sink for the template and they lost it. They never showed up on time. And the installation was horrible. They made a big hole in the wall, didnt caulk it properly, left marks everywhere they even had to take back the island countertop to the shop to fix it. It was so bad that we were ready to dispute our credit card, and the owner Song asked us to give him a chance and he came to our house but he started yelling at me by saying This is an easy fix!! He also started blaming on the way house was built.Because of all these disasters they caused, our plumber had to come back 3 times to reinstall faucets, and I asked them to pay for it but they still havent.See all the pictures yourself. I would only recommend you go here if you want to deal with nothing but disasters and have a HOPELESS kitchen.
They are horrible at returning calls after several attempts including at the beginning stages where I waited over 3 weeks to be contacted with designs and he still didn’t have the design I specifically asked for saying he thought it was better without which in the end he made while I was at my appointment and is what I went with. I asked for a break down several times of the per cabinet price and Sean said they don’t provide that, that it is grouped together. When they took my old cabinets out they left holes everywhere including in the ceiling that were never patched and told me this was “normal” yet the old cabinets were no where near them. Sean claimed he was giving me certain things including a discount as a result of this but never would produce the breakdown despite numerous requests. When the install was completed, he came to take pictures, I pointed out a few things that were wrong including a wrong insert I was given to a draw. He claimed this would be fixed in a Saturday appointment that we arranged. They called and cancelled the first Saturday, the next Saturday they confirmed and gave me a window but never showed up. I called and was blown off by Sean twice, tried e-mailing as well. I would not recommend this experience to my worst enemy after all the money I spent and am now spending on the other end fixing what I was left with in the middle of this pandemic. It’s a shame because Hope came highly recommended to me for their products and service and this has not been my experience. I almost never write reviews unless positive but felt strongly others needed to know about this before having a similar experience.
We had a great experience recently with Hope Kitchen. We worked directly with Song. He was patient and took the time to come to our house twice before the installation to make sure everything was measured properly so there would be no hiccups.The install was a breeze and their team was very precise and everything fit perfectly and looks amazing. They cleaned up nicely after themselves and we love our new kitchen!The granite we choose is stunning and the cabinets and crown molding are flawless.Thank you so much!
Its very hard sometimes dealing with the public. Especially on emotional issues like your home. Hope kitchen cabinets has been around for a long time now. They even have television ads on local news 12 channels. They have a location in Bridgeport where the warehouses and a showroom in New Rochelle New York. Adam from New Rochelle New York was very helpful. He ensured that my cabinets were specked out to my particular project and with the fastest delivery time it was able to pick them up in Bridgeport. In the Bridgeport office Sarah and sung stepped up to the plate when there was an issue with my order. They went the extra mile stay late and insured my delivery was complete look back soon for a link with my journey.
They came in and did a fabulous job. They put together the cabinets on site and took away all the old stuff.
I am in the process right now and i wished i had read the reviews sooner. This place came recommended and the person Sean too. Bad communication and i am now going on 2 weeks with no counter top. no one can give information and its just ridiculous. I would consider going with someone else for sure i have never been so disappointed in a recommendation and with a sales person that honestly is just to busy after the final sale. Please read all the reviews here as i believe them to be true and i am experiencing the worst situation every.
I visited several suppliers in my area. Most were nice but semmed to busy to really spendany time with me as a first time novice buyer. I went to Hope Kitchens in bridgeport lastlyExpecting the same experience and dealt with Sean. He was so pleasant and easy to deal with and gave me so much of his time and information I was taken back.Long story short he gave me a great price and the install wasGreat!. Men were there ahead of time, everything fit great and they were supper curtious and nice.I would recomenend Hope hands down!..fyi: I have no affiliation with them..just a regular consumer..and this is the first time i have ever written a review for any Co. Or product!.

Please please go with another company. The customer service is very poor. I’m very dissatisfied with this entire process. The individuals who installed the kitchen placed broken pieces in, there are cracks on the cabinets, communicating with the workers was impossible as I do not speak their language and they do not speak mine. I honestly would not recommend this company to anyone. Please safe yourself the headache and pick a better company. TRUST THE POOR REVIEWS YOU READ ON HERE! People are telling the truth!!!
Awful experience!!! We placed an order in December, 2019, and for three months called and emailed them frequently inquiring about when the order would be ready for pick-up.... without them ever emailing or calling us back. Finally in May, 2020 they told us the order had been lost and offered a refund…. but which three months later, we still haven’t received. This place is terribly managed and not worth your time or business.
Customer service is great and they explain everything that is done on the kitchen.
Worst company ever! They are nothing like what they advertised to be. The girl who answers the phone is rude and they dont get back to you when they say they would. I am happy I didnt waste my time further with yhem.

I would definitely not recommend Hope Kitchen, the customer service is horrible. I made an appointment to have my kitchen measured. Sean came, took the measurement and made an appointment for us to go to the showroom to review the design. We showed up to the appointment and was told that Sean would arrive in 15 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes, Sean showed up. He was unapologetic for being tardy. He proceeded to explain that he did not have the electronic file and would need to reschedule the appointment. He had no respect for our time, and did not have a sensible reason for being unprepared.
I now know why its called Hope Kitchen - you order your countertop and just hope beyond hope that they cut and install it correctly. They guy we dealt with (I wont name him) seemed nice but either new or totally disinterested. The installers, who were nice, hardworking guys, came with a different designed top as discussed. They seemed resigned to the confusion as if this is a regular occurrence. To their credit, they did cut and install what we asked for in the next few days, but the white quartz top scratches and marks incredibly easy. With hindsight, wed have paid more (not that Hope is especially cheap) and saved the stress.

There is NO HOPE at HOPE KITCHEN! I met with Adrian and was explicit about wanting white top and black bottom cabinets. He proceeded to show us a dark maple which we thought was nice. We thought he was showing us the dark maple for the style since we told him we wanted two toned cabinets. He never said they didnt have white and black cabinets. My contractor was aware of the colors I wanted so he was surprised to hear about the supposed change to dark maple. I called Adrian and told him this wasnt what we wanted. He said we would have to come in again to look at options. We were already on a tight timeline so I agreed to go with dark maple because they were nice anyhow. I did not complain to management or make a big deal about this huge error. When we were also explicit about cabinet handles, he said ok I will write that down. I received my cabinets a day late and no handles. I had to call him and ask about cabinet handles because Adrian never followed up. Apparently my handles had not been ordered. Still without complaining I was explicit about what I wanted and still received the wrong colored handles. ADRIAN did not take responsibility for his mistake. Instead, he says he is going to charge me for the handles that were ordered. Adrian needs to pay better attention to what his clients are ordering and work on his communication skills.
Today I visited this place and my first impression was very negative. I opened the door and all the staff continued looking their computers...so, my husband asked if how to proceed and was the only way to get their attention to said “yes go ahead” not even a greetings. So, we left because the staff never asked us if we need help or not. Very disappointed with the services. I gave one star because I don’t have the option of zero. Places like these need to have a very good salesperson and customer services not people in their own world.
Great little shop. Good kitchen displays. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of design ideas. Good prices.
Don’t even waste your time in this place!!! I went there to get an estimate for cabinet inserts and first they wanted ME to measure my kitchen cabinets and not them. After calling and trying to make an appointment so they can go to my house, the guy never showed up for the appointment. Never called, never said why he didn’t showed up. Then the second time he came in and took measurements and since then never called back with an estimate! I’ve been waiting for about a month to get an estimate and every time I call they say they will call by the end of the day with my estimate and they never call! Horrible customer service. Never again!!!

Salesman sean from Bridgeport, hope kitchens giving me run around. Installed my bathroom cabinet but never told me had to wait another week for the granite counter and sink. After complaining then says ok, we can install it on following Monday. Unacceptable. No sink in main bathroom for 6 days!!
Cabinets outstanding - customer service poor, and lastly dont allow the person in charge of measuring the cabinets against the counters to come in after 5 p.m. He did a poor job twice and if not for the contractor who did our renovations would have been a total mess. Also, they will attempt to nickle and dime you --- so again great cabinetry but not so good experience.
This is my experience. I called Hope Kitchen and Sung came and measured my kitchen. He showed up right on time, we agreed on the layout and the price, he said it would be about two weeks. During that two weeks I prepared everything. They called and showed up to do the install at the exact day and time they said they would.One of the installers was refered to as the deaf guy. He might have been deaf but he was truly a crastsman and very particular. He and his helper did an excellent job. With his attention to detail the install was flawless, and I am very particular. Before they left they templated for the granite counter top on Friday. It was installed on Monday. The two installers were very detailed, from mounting the sink to cleaning up, they did an excellent job. I would recommend them for any remodel job. I would give them negative if I could. When I came in it took someone over 10 mins to ask me if I needed help, normally this is not a problem if they are with someone but every sales person was free when we came in. I was lathargiclly helped the whole time as if I was bugging them. They told me they could not do anything with out drawings of my kitchen. I subbmited those a month ago and have sent 4 follow up emails and no one has responded with a date to come back in. Never and I me never go to hope kitchen they are the worst.
Customer service was horrendous and quality is poor. I have doors that dont line up or close and gaps in between. They were late to every appointment and no showed twice, losing 2 days from work. I had to dispute the charges on my credit card due to the unrepaired damage. Spend a little extra money and goes elsewhere.

Customer service is very poor. Im am currently in a dispute with this company over the granite countertop they put in my kitchen.At first, the salesman, Adrian, was courteous and helpful. However, throughout the process he became impatient with me because I asked to change the date twice. Once the countertop was installed and I noticed it did not cover the full space of the counter (by fractions of an inch), he became even hostile and refused to acknowledge the problem. Currently, I have a cabinet that is exposed because the granite does not fully cover it. Liquid and crumbs will easily enter my cabinet edge and will surely cause damage to the wood.Im waiting to speak with the manager -whom is not reachable via phone to customers unless he happens to be in the office.I will update this post as the problem evolves.
My husband and I did extensive home remodeling last year and we had experienced many disappointments and arguments with various installers and contactors. However, our dealings with Hope Kitchen starting from their prices (product for product their price can’t be beat) to the workmanship were great. It is true that some workers were not fluent in English but who cares as long as they do the job right. We found the cabinet and the counter-top installers to be the most conscientious and hard-working people we encounter throughout our remodeling project. They worked late into the evening to complete the work and they followed our instructions without complain as we changed the positioning of couple cabinets during the installation. The only complain I have with them is they finished installing the kitchen cabinets and the granite counter tops in a one motion (two day) but then they disappear on us for two days before they came back to do the bathrooms. Even with that, I give Hope Kitchen five stars because as I mentioned above we hired other carpenters, floor installers, plumbers and electricians for our remodeling but no one completed their work on time as they promised and they were not nice about it when we showed our displeasure.All and all, our experience with Hope kitchen was positive and we would hire them to do our work again.
