I attended this range while visiting from out of town. While inside, our rental car was damaged by an irresponsible patron. The facility had a nice amount of surveillance so I was relieved. Oddly all of the cameras on the premise were Temporally Down and we were unable to review the incident. I gave the Owner/Manager my contact information so that we could be notified once the cameras were back up. I never heard from them. I called and left numerous messages but no one has responded. This was about 8 months ago.

Best little local range in the neighborhood and I’m happy they have a long gun range too!!! I hope to see this range grow and eventually sell guns and more ammo. I hope ammo prices can start to drop too. Over all I love it and love the folks there!!! Much love!!

I love this place!!! I came when you guys newly opened. The moment I was greeted by the owner where he explained the significant of being to first black owned range in Illinois and the 3rd in the country at the time. I was impressed and honored to being able to support and in turn he gave me a few free targets which I greatly appreciate. I would come frequently. I even brought my mother who never shoot before but was talking like was John Wick lol. The lady at the register said she couldn’t wait t see. Long story short, too afraid to even pull the trigger. I went out and asked the lady at the register and they had any rentals. She said no but a guy that was doing a concealedand carry class named Angel I think, just picked up a .22. I asked him if I could pay to borrow it for my mom and he said no, I could just use it for free. Yeah I feel the issue was I said my mother is afraid to shoot my .45,my 9mm or my 40 caliber gun. He Set a range with us and patiently help my mom to her nervousness. He showed her how to hold it correctly explain what recoil was, and many other things. He is my mothers apprehension the firearm. Bonus, my mother and him we’re both left-handed wishy greatly appreciate it. All in all I have the best experience at this range more than any other range ever. I love Is a family owned business.

Rented space and it was filthy upon arrival. My family and I frequent often, so we decided to do a group outing in the rifle range. I prepaid and booked two hours for Sunday June 27, 2021. We were scheduled from 9am-11am. Upon arrival there was a line for classes and no clarity on how to proceed to the reserved range without waiting in the line. It moved extremely slow with only one person assisting guests. After checking in we entered a filthy range. The trash can was overflowing, casings were everywhere and the $100 per hour rate (plus individual attendee fees) did not cover anything that we expected. I videoed the space upon arrival, so I have included screenshots of what the rifle range looked like upon entering a few minutes after 9am. Totally disappointed and unacceptable. I pressed my group to spend our money with a B.O.B. and had to apologize as thry were suggesting Eagle Sports Range or Point Blank to begin with. Stanmorr, you all have to do better.

It felt good not being watched suspiciously. I had a great time. I will be back.

My husband and I were there on yesterday Monday June 28, 2021 and it was an absoluter pleasure!Gabby at the front desk was the best! Now I know some of you may have read the negative reviews and vows NEVER to go to Stanmorr Range. I say to you: Check it out for yourself and dont miss out on a good thing because someone else malign said business or person. If you didnt see it with your own eyes or hear with your own ears keep it moving until see for yourself! I dont support ANY business that doesnt respect me or my dollar. Meaning if this business did not make us feel welcomed etc I wouldnt say so. BTW I mustnt forget to mention the young lady at the desk who was so gracious in helping me use my magazine loader. Im a Pro loader now! Lol!!! Sorry I didnt get her name. Again thanks to Gabby and to the other young lady. A special thanks to Stanmorr Sports for being there. It gives us optionsWe have already told our friends and family!

I visited with my fam last year. I was disappointed in the lackadaisical attitude and customer service. The lady at the front desk was a bit ride and I didnt feel as though I was in a professional setting.. not good for a gun range, for sure! It wasnt that clean of a facility either. On top of that, our car was damaged in their parking lot, but they had cameras, so I thought we would have evidence we needed. Nope! Their cameras werent even working!! I wont be back for sure. For sure, they will respond to this unprofessionally.....that is all they know...unprofessionalism.

Prices are too high should have went to rinks like i was going to. 40 dollars for a 50 round box of 9mm. 20 dollars to enter range. Wont be back.

Im excited about a Black- Owned gun range DEFINITELY however, when we call customer service repres. dont have much info. in regards to gun sales or which gun products wld be available or even when, for sure.... I will continue to ck back in the future, I really wld like to support.

Heard good things about them from a friend so I wanted to take the conceal and carry class. Unfortunately they lack communication skills, I’ve been calling for 2 months and no one answers the phone. I’ve left messages with no return call and an email. I guess they didn’t want mines or my group I was being in business...

Hey how old do I have to be come in and shoot any firearm. For recreational purposes. Do I have to take a class ?

Fraudulent place. Came in June 19th for a conceal and carry class and applied same day. Did my fingerprints with a lady who no longer work here just to be told by state police there was never a tcn number provided for me! I paid $50 to have them done at this establishment. I’ve called and spoke with the manager who told me he’ll get me my refund after speaking with the owner here it is a week 1/2 later no call. Called today and spoke with the lady who works the front. She told me other people are getting the same error and was told by the lady she is waiting in an email about our tcn. I called the lady again today after speaking to her who then told me that she can’t even do anything about it due to her no longer working there and they just don’t want to give me my refund back. Been asking to speak with the owner but he’s supposedly never there when needed to be spoken with. This is a pandemic and no one can afford to loose money because you all want to be fraudulent about fingerprints. It’s against the law. And I want my refund. I was happy to hear this was black owned but now I feel like the owner isn’t doing what’s right and refunding people who already paid for their classes money for fraudulent fingerprints. Really sad and will never do business here ever again ..

The cashier wasnt wearing a mask and has NO people skills. I guess Latinos are not welcome here. She was so rude and there was another gentleman there who just stared (mean mugging). I said hi, how you doing? No reply just the stares as we walked out. I was wearing a Marine Corps shirt and felt like I was wearing something inappropriate by the looks we got. We all said what horrible customer service and will not go there again!

Great spot i used to visit last year before Pritzker bs shut thousands of ffls doors. Going back to where it feels like family highly recommended check them out. 9 lanes but place got character and the people knowledgeable in field. Enjoy

Saw them on the news last night about giving free class to 500 people of color call them today nobody pick up false advertisement n was told that they was scamming people stay away

Has a gun range and a seperate rifle and shotgun range. Allows you to shoot 00 buckshot and slugs. Only range i have seen letting you shoot a shotgun

One of the best Gun Ranges in Illinois. You dont feel like their doing you a favor letting you spend your money.

New shop in town, when there yesterday to buy ammo their prices are good and the people there are very nice, they didn’t have guns in stoke they said they where berly getting there, so ammo and range that’s the spot to go
