I went into this shop as directed from capitol finance auto dealers who is a partnering shop ... I recently bought a car from capitol and was told to come in for a free detail... I was misinformed over the phone and when I got there I was met by a really rude employee who was extremely dismissive. There was a dealer from capitol finance in the shop as well and he also failed to speak or provide assistance .. I was met by another employee who was willing to help me sort out the confusion. I was not a rude customer but my experience there was HORRIBLE! I LEFT FEELING EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE.

The two brothers who run the shop are TOPS in my perception. I was very satisfied the first time I was there. Ensure, though, that your vevicle is NOT touched by two youngsters who clearly are apprentices who can hardly do a brake job! One of them, I saw HAMMERING ON one of my rear calipers! This, after I saw him leave the caliper DANGLING FROM THE HOSE -an elementary NO-NO. Then, he did it AGAIN ...when I went right back to the shop 7 miles away! (Upon returning home, I had crawled under my SUV to inspect what they did ...and discovered that the other apprentice, who did the other brake, failed to install one of the two clips that come with the brake pads, the ends of which rest upon said clips!)Eddie is VERY nice! I deeply resent, though, that he had those two ignorants, who cant even handle a basic brake job properly, work on my car -my trust is now on the fence; I am not sure that Ill come back for another aggravation -I dont care to go to a teaching hospital, for example: you expect to be cared for by YOUR doctor, NOT by practicing interns!BTW: WHENEVER ANYBODY ANYWHERE takes off your wheels, check the lug nuts upon returning home. Bet on needing a pipe to use as an extension on your lug nut wrench -a long one: most likely youll find the nuts SO UNBELIEVABLY TIGHT that you couldnt remotely expect to be able to change a tire on the road.Dealerships are crooks, even incompetent, and the brand disowns them as indpendently owned in a complaint.Small shops are to watch out for as well. WHOM CAN YOU TRUST?!The owners of ALW are trustworthy and VERY GOOD PEOPLE, after all, as opposed to pretty much most other shop managers.

Eddie is a great guy and was able to schedule me in last minute for a big used car inspection when another mechanic in the area cancelled on me. I needed a professional opinion and some tests run on a van I was considering buying out of state, and I felt confident with Eddie as my eyes and ears on the ground. He was very professional and honest and his advice ended up saving me a lot of headache and money in the long run! He called me right away when the vehicle arrived, sent me photos, and let me know based on his initial review that the more expensive tests we had planned weren’t worth running due to other problems that weren’t mentioned by the dealer. Having ALW in my corner made me feel a lot less stressed while dealing with an out of state van. They were very easy to communicate with and easy going. Great experience!

These guys are so nice and dont screw you over with pricing. They are also very honest. I thought I had a break leak. I brought the car in and found out I didnt even have that issue. They completely went over my car just to make sure everything was good. They did find another issue that wouldve been really bad. I had it fixed and my car was back to me in a couple of hours.

Great Guy -helped us when our car broke down on 294 . I was travelling Ohare to Indiana with my family. Our car broke down on 294 S . AAA driver took us to this shop. Owner was busy but he gave us priority and replaced alternator on the priority basis by taking other car off of lift. I live in a different state and may not go back again but I want to say him thank you by giving this review. Thanks
