The staff member was very polite, but here lately they have nothing I need.

My brother and I go to this location often and I cant say enough about what a great staff they have. Always friendly and helpful. Right out of college I worked for gamestop and I can truly say this is the best store Ive ever been in. The manager is a great guy and the atmosphere in the store is always warm. Real assets to the company and to our cities gamers.

My favorite store. Everyone remembers me, and knows me, despite months between visits. I am always very pleased going there.

The new set up is horrible. I tried 8 different games from the shelf only to have them say we dont have it. It used to be if it was on the shelf they had it. Not no more. Ill be purchasing from somewhere else from now on

Worker seemed friendly, but i asked if he had any naruto games for xbox360, said there were 2. Well the one i was going to get that he said they had, looked and didnt have it. Well thats fine, so i bought the other one. Well got home to play it and it doesnt work. Ill be back tomorrow for a refund and not coming back.

I’ve called twice for two different items and the guy was not helpful at all. I went to the Elizabethton store was very helpful and offered ordering the item online and ship to my house.

Its a shot if they have what Im looking for but usually if u get there on drop dates your usually good....

It depends on which one of these you go to that you will get friendly helpful advice about gaming consoles,exclusives and upcoming releases. In my experience the GameStop in Bristol Virginia had the best group of employees they were very helpful and every one of them friendly and have knowledge of any one of the consoles and games for them. Some of these places it seems like its a burden on them to ask questions and opinions.

Not a bad place this is my local Gamestop and I been coming here for more than a year and never had a bad experience in this store keep it up.

This use to be THE place to go for all your gaming needs 2-3 years ago. and after that it has slowly went down hill....way down hill. I only go in here now if I have to. digital downloads are great and more reliable.

Great selection of games and good location. Dont come to this exact one often but stop by any time I get the chance. They are always getting new inventory and every time I go its a bew adventure. A wide variety of good used merchandise for a good price as well as new ones too. Highly reccomend anyone.

Not an overall review of the store but you search the store and the time says 11-6. This store does not open until 12 noon on Sunday. Made the drive down for nothing. Called the store as there were employees at the location. Phone was answered hung up and left off the hook until they opened and I walked in and it was still sitting off the hook. Would help to have correct times posted. Or have a staff that would answer the phone to clear up confusion.Thanks!

Combination of the staff here actually play almost every product in their store. Its much easier to decide what to buy because of this.

I would give this place a half a star. Usually they are super friendly but the cashier named Armand was so rude to us when we brought games back to trade. He told us this isn’t Redbox we don’t just rent out games for you to bring them back. Then he proceeds to tells us that the games on the receipt didn’t match what we brought back. We told him yes they were and then we had to show him on the receipt what the games were. We always come here it’s convienient and they have always helped us out. We will no longer be doing business with this Gamestop. I really hope the manager sees this and does something about it.

Trading at a GameStop is always regretful but I guess its the lesser of two evils when compared to dealing with other humans to make a sale yourself. This one was ok. Very picky on equipment if you are bringing in for a trade so make sure you clean it and have everything included. GameStop is one of those evils we just accept for what it is because everyone else does it. Somewhat like the absurd cost of wedding photos and college.

Honestly, best game store I have seen in a while.

Staff was friendly however I handed clerk Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel for PS4 along with 2 xbox cobtrollers and 3 other ps4xbox one games...long story short i rece8ved Morrowind Xbox one. Granyed it was closing time the night before Christmas Eve and 8 did spend close to a hundred bucks in merchandise however this will be quite a hassle having to go back on Xmas Eve to exchange it...assuming they are even 9pen and have anothter in time for my sons Xmas.

I will never do patronage with gamestop after my last visit to this location. There was only one rude, lazy employee working the floor who couldnt be bothered to answer a single simple question. The only other employee kept running to the back room any time you tried to approach. As we were looking to get both a new ps4 pro and xbox one x, along with 4-5 games a piece and they didnt want our business we went to G2K instead. I urge anyone reading this to got to G2K as well. G2K has a prompt friendly staff that doesnt keep you waiting around for hours trying to get one question answered. G2K is what game stop use to be, by gamers for gamers.

Great assortment of games and consoles. Used merchandise is a bit overpriced.

Its Gamestop, so gamers already know what to expect. Since every Gamestop follows one of 4 or 5 floorplans and standardized signage and merchandising, everything is fairly straightforward. Their pricing is fairly standard matching MSRP. Their Used games business model is a polarizing topic depending who you talk to, but at least theyll take anything, and I mean ANYTHING. Condition on used games can be spotty and must be carefully checked to see if it is in great condition or simply been glazed. Honestly I dont frequent Gamestop that often. WalMart, Target, BestBuy, G2K, not to mention Amazon/eBay have much more wonderfully volatile pricing that tends to get cheaper faster as the title ages shortly after release and I can also get other things unlike gamestop which is dedicated only to games. Gamestop does have the advantage of focus albeit their associates can be a little over-the-top when it comes to Console preferences. Gamestop is good in a pinch, but no longer compelling enough to make me go there just for Games alone.
