I have never been spoken to by an associate at this store. This does not bother me (I actually prefer it), but if excellent customer service is something you require I wouldn’t count on it. I only come here when I need something unique that my usual grocery stores don’t carry. I enjoy their asian section, albeit rather small. The tiramisu in the bakery is delicious! Expensive but worth it in my opinion.

Some shortages due to the transportation backlogs, but mostly well stocked

This place is horrible! I need to add money to my debit card, on the website it said that money services was open until 11. The desk had all the lights on and looked open. The cashier let me stand. There for 5 minutes waiting before he told me that they had cloaed it early - if its supposed to be open it should be open im so angry glad i dont live here

They never have more than 2 registers open and Ive had to wait in line to check out for 25 minutes! The customer service desk they open and close at their convenience because they never have enough cashiers on hand and if you ask for assistance with customer service they give you a attitude and dont want to serve you! There pharmacy, be prepared for a very long wait!!!

Complete trash store. Says online I can get up to 5,000 dollars off my debit card for the same fee it costs to cash a check. I needed to get my rent money and the guy behind the counter says oh you have to buy something. If youre not gonna offer what your website says then change it.

A joke of a grocery store. EVERY single employee is as rude as they can be with zero desire to actually do their job and help people. And they constantly close the front service desk whenever they feel like bc they dont want to work. Ill NEVER step foot in another Krogers as long as I live. I absolutely hate this company.

Absolutely disgusting, the nastiest grocery store I have every been to. From just driving up into the parking to the smell into the door. There was trash on the floors and in the bathroom, and absolutely no soap. Im not sure if I went at the wrong time or what but I didnt want anything. Im just glad I wear and have my hand sanitizer in my car.

I shop at this location frequently. The staff is very friendly and has been helpful anytime Ive had questions(which have been plenty on certain visits). The store is generally clean and they have been offering hand sanitizer and wipes at the entry way since covid. We have also used pick up service at this location few times and it was great!

Vast majority of people not wearing masks and definitely not wearing them properly. Enter at your OWN RISK as the managers CLEARLY don’t care about shopper safety.

Does not enforce the state mask policy, employees are not even wearing them properly.

Great Store, always stocked, Kroger brand items are awesome try thier Kroger brand potato chips, try thier Sweet Southern Heat Kettle Chips...soooo good!

Friendly staff easy to find what you need

Not sure what was going on several shelves empty & all the customers were having to go to self serve. Just didnt make any sense.

As cases of COVID soar in this area, store employees from management on down continue to violate state and store mask policies. Very unsafe shopping experience.

It is shocking to see a national chain of grocery store in such a state of disordered filth as this store was today. I like the Kroger brand but this experience might make me start going to Food City instead. At least they keep a clean shop. The management at this store should visit the exit 7 Target for a lesson in cleanliness and presentation.

Very disappointed that Bakery Dept is not staffed. I waited 15-20 minutes to get my bread sliced. One lady came after me to get a cake to be personalized and finally she gave up.If Bristol had an Ingles store it would be my go to store. Customers should not have to hunt down staff.

Kroger is about to get a warrant on them.i paid 57.65 for groceries and delivery and they havent responded yet.this is Theft.the police department here in Bristol VA is right across the street from here and Im going to file a warrant because of Kroger I wont be eating for the next 2 days!

This is a good Kroger store. Convenient location, good parking, and a great store to stop by if you are in a hurry and just need a few items. They often have good sales going on and the staff and people at checkout are usually friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and well stocked. My wife and I shop here often and will continue doing so. No problems - 5 stars.

There was actually some goods deals here .Liked checking myself out .and gotta discount tooThanks to employee family member worked out pretty good.got Kroger brand bagels and cream cheese. Bagels are unusually soft and also the cheese was of great quality according to the scrutiny of the kids. Overall good experience.

Good grocery store. Usually stocked very well. Friendly staff. If you need flowers check out their floral dept. Their prices are better than Food Citys floral dept. They have made me a few arrangements & they were beautiful & very reasonably priced.

Bad experience at the Bristol Kroger. Only a few shopping carts available. You had to sanitizer yourself. Carts were so jammed into one another I couldnt get it out. I probably had so many germs on me before I got to the sanitizer it was rediculous. No help from any employee. Meat department told me to busy to help me as they were filling a large order. Go go to o Walmart. They sanitize their carts and act like they care.

We shop this Kroger all the time and I have purchased many flowers (live and cut) over the years with varied results...some disappointingly short lasting. I recently went in and noticed the arrangements were so much nicer and got my wife some roses. They were not only one of the best Ive given her but they have stayed fresh longer than all the others (the roses were wide open when I got them and still look great after a full week). I dont do reviews very often but just had to give kudos to the person now taking care of that department. Oh and the price was great too. Wish I could add a photo of the roses to show how great they still look.

Ive been a loyal Kroger shopper for decades and I have to say, Kroger blows the competition away.The staff treat their customers like old friends, at least they treat me that way. The store is always clean and brightly lit, well organized and well stocked. The only time I find an out of stock item is when they give the product away.I shop the perimeter and the extensive natural foods selection mostly. I think Kroger has the best selection in town when it comes to the healthy options I prefer.I have three very demanding cats sharing their domicile with me. These three demand the best foods, no junk for them, no Sir ! I can always count on Kroger to stock a wide selection of the foods my cats order me to bring home on my foraging trips.Price-wise, Kroger is easily 20% cheaper than their leading competitor everyday. The produce and meat and dairy excel in quality.You wont likely be disappointed in your shopping experience with Kroger.

My friend and I call this place ratchet Kroger just because everything around it is slowly dying and it looks like a flock of birds have taken over the front of the store. But its a fine grocery store. You should shop there and also refer to it as ratchet Kroger, but in an affectionate way.

I have shopped here since I can remember. Been getting my medicine here at the pharmacy going on 10 years or more. Excellent staff especially in the pharmacy Cindy,Libby, Brittany, Travis,also the guy with the beard his name I know it but it wont come out lol. They are all great. Love them all.

Easy navigation. Wonderful produce area; however, out of advertised yellow squash. As the inventory is harvested, more always fills the aisles. A bit of shelf inventory was surprisingly empty for a Saturday afternoon. Will always shop at Kroger.

Hands down, the best grocery chain in the area! Never had any problems out of this store. The pharmacy is terrible, but the store is fantastic. And their store brand products are delicious, and for the most part, indistinguishable from the name brand.

Great sales throughout the week. The deli,produce and meat department products are fresh. Everything is fully stocked. Employees are friendly n helpful. You receive gas points and also so much off of groceries on your next visit.

Kroger is the best. Wished I didnt live on opposite side of town I would go more often. Sign up for a Kroger member card, its free, and you can upload Friday freebies and extra coupons and discounts. Also Kroger has always had best meat, freshest fruits and veggies... For any perishables choose Kroger and never Wal-Mart. Frankly, non-perishables are cheaper here for the most part also.

One of the first Krogers that you will encounter along the Tennessee/Virginia border. The produce section is WELL maintained, and the variety is broad. Some of the more exotic fruits leaves a bit to be desired, but its still good. The meat section is well stocked, and the prices are great, as well as what is put on sale. The store layout is overall good, and the checkouts/interaction with staff has always been pleasant.

Love this store (Bristol, VA). The pharmacy staff, cashiers, bag boys & managers are fantastic. We love Sarah...I think she a front end mgr. She knows her stuff, is friendly & fast at anything she does!

Open 24/7. Has been a live sad ect in more then 1 occasion. I love their markdowns but ya gotta be a regular to k know when n where to find them.

This store is always chaos. Trying to find a manager seems impossible at times. No one even knows if a manager is working or who is in charge. Most of the time they are short staffed and the service counter/desk is closed. Then youre left standing for an hour waiting on management. I kid you not. I went in for a return once and I came in at 5pm and didnt wind up leaving until 6pm.I walk around the store seeing if I could locate one of the managers and while Im walking around I hear employees over the PA system asking for managers to call their department numerous times. One employee said they have been there for 6 months and when they call them on the PA system or anyting it takes them forever to get back to them.Terrible customer service. Dont get me wrong whenever the manager finally appears they do take care of the issue but its just poor customer service still leaves people waiting for so long.With this being the only Kroger in town they should make it a marketplace and stock more stuff. It has enough space to be a marketplace.

I shop Kroger because they have great sales on meat. They have good quality and service. I got an eye of round & a chuck roast for$2.77/lb. Hard to beat that!

I love Kroger,but they have implemented a new pricing on their meat and its very confusing. I like to see the price. And they do not have enough stock for items they advertise. For instance they had Nestles water 2 cases for $5.00. None on the shelf and none in the store room. But I do love to shop Kroger.

Bathrooms could use better cleaning but the store is fine and parking is plenty. I DO NOT like the online ordering for this store in particular.

The Bristol Kroger is a very good store. We love their flaxseed bread as well as the sweet onion salsa -- both of which I can only find here. The craft beer selection is also outstanding offering Bristols own Studio Brew beers which are amazing. The folks are friendly as well.

Went to Kroger to get more Christmas stocking hangers and gift cards. I had just a few items and quickly checked out through the Express lane.

Great people but everytime I go in to get something it seems like lately they are out of stock. I dont like shopping anywhere else. Just need to keep items on sale in stock. Also young girl in deli with glasses does not tend to offer service when u walk up. She will just look at you and keep doing whatever she is doing. It has happened three times already. I just like screw it.

Best prices on the items I buy plus they send me coupons in the mail on the groceries I buy most. The store is almost always crowded, annoyingly so. Good for Kroger, bad for me! I have issues with sale items being out of stock almost every time I go and the store is often in disarray. If not for that, I would give it 5 stars.

Got some great deals. Big Easter ham, sweet potatoes, grapes, and broth at a killer price. Got more califlower crust pizza. No guilt pizza!

Kroger is 100x better Food City on Euclid Avenue. Prices are better, employees are nicer, store is way cleaner, and I could go on just glad that this food store have the decency to have a good place to shop and dont allow animals in their stores.

This place is aweful. I went today and bought some things. 1st off every time I go there single cans of dog food are sold out! Why not stock more? Then I pay for my stuff they hurry and load it in my cart...which is new because most times I have to bag it myself. So I get home and a bag is missing. I call up there and they said just come back. Well since my wife is coming by there can you just hold it for her. They said yes. It will be at the front counter. So my wife gets there 10 mins after I hang up and they tell her they put everything back on the shelf. She doesn’t know what’s missing. To make a long story short... this has been our go to grocery store for over 18 years. This will be our last! We have had a few other problems over the years... like discounts not being taken at the check out. If you don’t watch closely you will not get it. And I’m tired of 99% of the time I have to bag my own stuff while 5 employees sit at the counter and joke around. Also when you do make a complaint you never get a response! I’ll be driving a couple more miles from now on to go to food city! Kroger you better get your act together or you’ll be like food lion! Gone!

While this isnt the biggest Kroger Ive been to, certainly not a Superstore, it has a nice vibe to it. It has the best produce section of the major 3 (Walmart, Food City, Kroger) and Meat Dept. The isles are of manageable widths although the front area is a little cramped. They apparently take pride in the entry to the Bakery/Deli) which is huge & Wine which looks modern and clean. The RX does seam cluttered with DVDs and General Goods that feel like they were merchandised in a rush opening day. I like this location, its clean, staff seems nice, parking is straightforward, and there is deals to be had within.

In general I like the store .it is convenient for my location. I wish they would open more registers during busy hours and get some baggers! About every time I shop there I end up bagging my own stuff because the poor register person is doing their best just to get my stuff rang up . Ive also seen a lot of out of date dairy, so carefully check ur dates before buying ..other then that they have a nice selection and extremely nice employees

This store is a shame to be so dirty. There were chicken bones on the floor paper and I dont know what a lot of the other things were. There is no excuse for a grocery store to be so flirty.

Always friendly, clean. Great prices, and selection. How ever, this location no longer offers full time customer service desk operations😣 I have been there twice in the last month and a half. Once at 5:30pm on a Monday and the customer service desk was closed, at that time I was directed to a cash advance business down the street to be able to obtain Western Union services. The second time today at 11:30am to pay a bill, I after waiting 10 minutes I was told they would get to me when they could they didnt have anyone that could help me. So with out notice or regard, you can no longer get full time customer service desk help for. Check cashing, bill pay, Western Union receiving or sending, no lotto, and no help for items that you were charged incorrectly for. Im not sure if calling ahead would help.

Krogers is always good, they just need to keep more items stocked or people to put it on the shelf...

Always very cold in the store no matter what time of year take a jacket. While I prefer Kroger to Food City there are a few thing that I purchase on the regular that I cant get at Kroger.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly especially Kim Cordell in the meat department.

Okay listen this place is no Whole Foods or Trader Joes but come on its pretty darn close. They have everything from Bakery items to deli items to regular old grocery store stuff. I mean come on what more could you ask for? If you are looking for somewhere to go to get a salad with nothing on it except for a couple of veggies and maybe a scoop or two of humus youve come to the right place. Kroger.! Ive tried (over 3 different incidents) contacting the store manager multiple times regarding the same employee (older female who is always beat the self checkout) constantly slandering me saying that Im a done head bc Im coming to thestir at 3am, but what shedoesnt know is I go into work at 4am & sometimes I like to get something different than leftovers; from the night before, for my lunch. I have never received our missed any returned calls or emails.

Beware of the parking lot speed bumps. While driving a normal height car over the speed bumps, they were too high and banged up the bottom of our car. Now there is something wrong with the car. Not to mention that the store was a wreck with boxes all throughout the aisles needing to be put on the shelves. Not our best Kroger experience to say the least.
