Had a pleasant experience. The young lady at one of the counters was very nice and patient with listening to our requests as we explained to her what we were looking for.She ended up finding us the best deal for our budget.we were looking for a chest freezer.Highly recommend this store. Been in this Best buy multiple times. Not once has a customer service rep ever asked if I needed help. Upon seeking an employee for assistance they will actively avoid the interaction and move away from you requiring you to chase them down like blue clothed prey animals. Half the items in the store seemed to be marked with open box stickers but nothing is discounted. Their battery selection is unbelievably sparse. You would a Best buy would carry plenty of batteries and not just Energizer brand.

Dont shop here unless you wanna wait for 30 mins + and still not get any assistance. Employees seem to rather want to talk to each other rather than help customers. Just order your stuff off Amazon. Itll get to your house faster than getting help here.

Zero customer service. I was ignored for a full 30 minutes then when I tried to get someones attention, they avoided me. Very disappointing. Couldnt even tell you if their major appliances are any good because I wasnt able to make a purchase. Must be why they advertise free delivery because you cant buy anyway.

Amazing customer service every time Ive had to ask about anything from headphones, to video security cameras, smart lights, and the new doorbell devices with camera monitoring and other nice doodads..Only downside but I still give them five stars, is it always seem to be a little understaffed here and it takes some times a while to be able to get to a employee for assistance.

Gentleman who waited on us to purchase a dishwasher was very nice and helpful. Explained delivery, set up, and take away. HOWEVER, there are NO wheelchair assisted carts to be found. Just fyi, this is a huge detergent for many of your elderly customers. My husband struggled while there.

Had to visit this store due to scheduling delivery issue I was having with over the phone customer service and mobile app. I was helped by Alvaro and I was impressed with his customer service. He went above and beyond to help fix the problem, showing excellent professionalism and treating my family and I with care not just trying to rush us out and attend the next client. Right now you’ll be lucky to find good computer parts. They’re really helpful though and you can get almost all other electronics you possibly need. DON’T EVER USE THEIR GEEKSQUAD. Most overpriced part of BestBuy. They’ll literally charge you a whole paycheck to “clean your computer from a virus” and all it took was uninstalling a browser add-on lol forget recovering data they’ll floor you. If it’s not under warranty with BestBuy or you have no knowledge of electronics you WILL get robbed without question.

Bought a dishwasher a couple weeks ago it was supposed to be delivered and they never showed up or called to inform us they wouldn’t show up, they rescheduled it and then didn’t show up or call again, after being on hold for 45+ minutes multiple times I finally find out it won’t be delivered for another week. The delivery window is an 8 hour window every time and I’ve already wasted two days and hours being on the phone dealing with them. Wish I would’ve bought our dishwasher elsewhere.

No one ever comes to help you(standing around for a good while). You have to go looking around for someone. When you actually find someone they have to look for the person that belongs in that department. If that person is helping someone you have to wait even longer and hope they remember you are there. They seriously need to work on services and have more the 1 person at a department.

Came to this Best Buy to buy a 75 LG TV and sound bar because it was the only place in the Valley that had it in stock. Took quite a while to actually get it but maybe because they look to be understaffed. They helped me load it into my truck also. Other than that it was OK.

Brownsville best buy service area for phones headphones and watches was horrible! Worst experience ever at a retail store. The young lady was rude, rolling her eyes not customer service oriented at all! The manager on duty tried to make it a more pleasant experience by apologizing for the service, but I refuse to take an apology from a person who did not make the mistake or the experience bad... thank you M.O.D But it should of been her apologizing for a horrible experience. Purchased my gifts from the McAllen Jackson location the service and experience was 5 ⭐ one hundred percent on point!!!! . A discount or free item will not make it better at all I was not looking for a hand out I buy retail price because I can afford it... if not I will have to wait to get the item. The experience service atmosphere makes the purchase be it 1.00 or in my case 500.00 on two items worth it.

Fabulous service! An associate was waiting upon entering to direct me to the customer pickup desk. He then processed my order and had me drive my car to the curbside pickup point where my merchandise was loaded into my car. I couldnt have asked for better service!

If you are needing information on a product you will be disappointed. We stood around for several minutes and never saw a clerk. We asked several times for help and were pointed to the area where what we were looking for was on display and left on our own. We finally asked about a certain model and the man on his phone was not overly friendly when he said oh we dont have them in stock.

Todays experience 5-3-21was better than yesterdays. The young lady who was supposed to be assisting me in my computer search and buying experience was sorely lacking in customer service skills. She talked with other workers, constantly was on her phone, was short to the point of rudeness when asked questions. Ex. I had photos of computers that were on sale?! When I asked her about them she said we dont have those anymore and they are discontinued. At 1 point she and the other clerk said they could order but then she insisted that they were out of stock which meant discontinued. Not sure if it was true or not. Then I inquired about software... no its not included but here you can buy this and have it installed. Very disappointing experience.

Bought $3K worth of kitchen appliances and was promised by best buy they would be delivered to my new home by Thursday. Meantime I am getting daily notifications that my order will arrive on time. On Thursday, the delivery date, I get a notification that my order will be late. I contact their support team and they say the best they can do is deliver my order until 20 days later and that it is their suppliers fault. They offered no discount, no additional options, no additional contact who may potentially be able to assist me. I strongly recommend purchasing from smaller local businesses with better customer service who can commit to their word. Trust me, it will be worth it, never shopping here again.

They say their store closes at 7pm but their doors are closed by 6:30pm. McDonalds employees cant stop serving at 11:59 even though they close at 12 yet best buy employees that literally have an attitude when helping you find something have to close 30 minutes beforehand. Pathetic. And a spit to our face.

One of lousiest places to shop. Customer service and professionalism is a complete stranger to this mess in Brownsville. Tried picking up some items I purchased online and my pick up person was rejected and laughed at by the pathetic staff there. Call the 1-800 number and was told that the Brownsville store is so worthless that they have assigned a remote third party phone agent to answer calls for them, Wow! Best Buy clean house or shut this cesspool down.

Disappointed with their customer service...Tried picking up a package from my client, who ordered online, and was told I needed their ID/card number.Returned an appliance, and was told they could only make an exemption this time to have the item exchanged.. which surprisingly arrived the next day, I picked it up, installed it, and had the same external physical issue and internal issue, so pretty much wasted my time and money! After 10 long years of not setting foot inside Best Buy in Brownsville I see not much has changed when it comes to service. I placed an order through the app and was told it was ready for pick up. I waited 45 minutes outside the store after checking in on the app, for a pack of batteries. I decided to cancel my order after speaking with customer support over the phone and drove off into the sunset. I regret getting their card since I will never make another purchase there good thing I can use it elsewhere. Never again.

If I could rate zero I would. Hard to rate customer service when you get none. Called at 6:20 pm, waited on hold for 6 minutes and 43 seconds, got no answer and was disconnected. Called at 6:27 pm, waited 19 minutes and disconnected. Called at 6:46 pm, waited 6 minutes and 17 seconds and was disconnected again. Called again at 6:53pm and waited 32 minutes and 31 seconds with no answer and I hung up. the least they couldve done was answer and take my info to call me back. very unsatisfied with their lack of interest in helping customers,

Very bad customers service, no skills and very bad attitude. Item was promised to be delivered the next day, still waiting on a delivery date due to delay. Manager didnt seem to care about their employees bad attitude, really disappointed. Be prepared to be standing around because no one will or seems willing to help you. However ran into Daniel, who found messing with something on his counter then to take care of a customer who wanted a question answered and a product already selected to buy. Rude to boot. Almost walked out, but wife kept me in and the other salesman did a great job. So beware of Daniel, and it was not a start of day.

I love this place! Its my adult playground. Im really happy that they got a small section dedicated to vinyl records. Even though they are a little more pricey than youd find on Amazon, they still have a great selection. They also have almost anything youd need when it comes to technology, and if its not in store you can order it and get it in a few days.

Bought a refrigerator on Sunday. Team member in appliances was very helpful, but was suppose to check availability on Monday. It’s now Tuesday and I have not heard from team member.
