I love El Globo reminds of being a child & also the produce department has really great deals avacados are only 2/$1.00

I like coming here for Mexican chips, and candy and soft drinks. Although this store is always super expensive. EVERY ITEM they have in this is store is more expensive than any other super market in all of Brownsville.

Love it! But some items are ver good mostly the vegetables ... I do not recommend like other usa brands are mostly a bit expensive!

Has many good products HEB does not have.

I went to order a mother day cake. I wanted a fresh baked cake. Jasmine asked me to get the ones already on sell? These cakes were baked on May 5, 2021. She told me why I didnt get those. Again, the date would make the cake 4 days d old. Jasmine than told me she would make one for tomorrow May 7. She didnt take my name or to pay for the cake. I have a feeling that she is going to me a 4 or 5 day old cake. I hope this doesnt happen to me.

I have always liked going to El Globo to pick up quick lunch or dinner go getter food to make at home. The employees are nice & friendly and fast cashiers! The only problem is no one the telling their customers about 6 feet distance when forming a 1 lane !

Fairly good store with most needed fresh groceries. Not a lot of smiles or helping hands around if needed. But still happy for the fresh products available.

Horrible! I waited in line for a taco with only 1 person in front of me for 15 min.!!! The poor man was taking forever to make food and the cashier was clueless on how to use it... bad bad badddd!!!

El globo has great prices on their meats. You really have to walk the whole store to find good bargains. A face covering is required to enter the store. Upon entering, therefore is a door greater with hand sanitizer. The traffic was steady, they had several cashier registers open. The store was fully stocked and clean. They sell popular items from Mexico, ranging from food, candy, drinks, dairy, cleaning products, household products and much more. El Globo offeres hot meals to go and a cake bakery. They only have 1 rack of pan dulce. Overall good experience with staff

A customer became very angry bc she had only 2 items abd wanted to cut the line. The employees handled in very well.

Always a great spot to get your meats. You cant beat the chicken wings on sale from .99-1.19 a pound!! Tuesday is taco Tuesday and they have beef fajita and chicken tacos 1.50 for beef and 1.00 for chicken!!! They have great values everyday we always enjoy shopping here.

Its a large Mexican grocery store . . . no Mountain Dew, no hand baskets . . . lots of produce

El Globo Supermarket has come to the rescue on many holiday occasions!!! Only supermarket to stay open late on ALL holidays!!!Great Butcher department. Has better priced meats than the big chain stores!Plus, has a very affordable deli that serves us some killer rice that you can buy in bulk for your BBQs!And not to mention thier 3 leches cakes thier bakery whips up!

They have good cheaper avocados and fresh sweet potatos as big as you want. Their BeLite drinks are 1.50 instead of 2.38 at HEB and Walmart.
