Don’t know if West Central Wireless is capable of offering better service, but my download using their service is less than 3 mbps. Using AT&T by hitting a cell tower over my huge trees in the middle of nowhere, I get almost 117 mbps! Now try watching Netflix or Prime using West Central…..

The cost of their services does not match up to the quality they should be providing. Less than 1mb up and down is LAUGHABLE in 2020. Customer service is so so, they try to help not really much they can do when the problem lies deeper than the people you talk to on the phone. I do not understand why I am constantly having to “just unplug and plug back in and it should reset” that should not be something that I have to do everyday just to have working internet.TL:DR internet sucks use a different isp.

You have become one of the worst ISP. Your service has gone down hill since 3 years ago. We have to use your service because it is our only choice and you should offer better connections to your customers. Only good for one person and slow on video upload speeds.

The absolute worst internet service available. I have been with them for over 2 years and the only reason I still have them is that there is nothing else available. Frontier says they have no more room to add anyone to their system. It constantly buffers, have to reset the modem two or three times a week. When it does work is marginal at best. Now it wont work at all so I call customer service and they tell me Ill have to wait two days to get a technician out to my house. What a joke.

Never works! Says looks good on our end. They have you reset modem a dozen times, unplug this, unplug that, they reset it still doesnt work. Bad customer service, rude and act like youre an idiot. First it was they were building a new tower due to over crowding. It should have been ready a year ago, then the spring, then the summer. Takes weeks to come out and look, did nothing but look and say yep you have one of those boxes (something with the firmware). Well that was fixed then we cant get on the tower because we live too far, but they cant 100% guarantee to credit my account when theres nothing else they can do to fix it and I paid for the service that doesnt work and have to wait on them 2 weeks to do nothing. I wish there was a different provider so I could switch. EXCUSES~DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS ITS YOUR ONLY OPTION!!!

If youre smart you wouldnt get this service. (READ REVIEWS). you cant even load a YouTube video without it buffering for at least two to three minutes before watching, and if your a gamer its not very optimal due to the ping (latency) skyrocketing and plummeting every two seconds.

Awful, slow internet and terrible customer service. You will regret signing a contract for their services. They are only in business because many people have no other option. They have no incentive to provide good service.Want decent internet thats above 256kBps? Forget these guys. Do not support this terrible excuse for a telecom company.

Internet Service is worthless for streaming, cant even get 1 Mb during the evening or weekend. Also dont believe them when they say you can cancel and not pay termination Fee, THAT IS A LIE!!!

The San Anglo office ladies are awesome. As far as a couple of ladies at the brownwood store they are a joke asking info that they dont need and getting attitude when you call them out on it then ask to speak to their supervisor and they say they are when you know that they arent the supervisor. Because the supervisor in the brownwood office is a guy. But their cell service and wireless internet is good I have several things hooked up to my wifi with no problems.

Worst internet provider Ive ever had to deal with. The service simply does not work and the customer service reps are insulting and clueless. If this is your only option, then buy some books and stay off the interwebs.

Absolute worst service we’ve ever had. The internet is extremely slow, it runs about 500kbps. Yes KB! It’s terrible. When we call, they tell us to restart the router, as if we haven’t done that 10 times already. We can’t stream Netflix or YouTube without it buffering every minute. It’s worthless, but they make you sign a two year contract.Customer service is a joke, they aren’t able to help with any questions, or able to tell you why there was a $20 fee for “non-payment” when we’ve been on auto draft for 18 months. We will definitely be shopping for a new internet provider at the end of our contract, because this whole service is a waste of time and money.

In the year and change weve had West Central net, we literally have never had fully functioning internet service. For over a year we had speeds slower than dial-up (due to the antenna being aimed through a tree and their refusal to send out a tech despite monthly calls). For the last month, since they finally reaimed the antenna, weve had random cutouts that remained unfixed despite another tech visit. Now we have absolutely *no* service at all after a network-wide outage from which ours never recovered. Theyre sending another tech out...a week from now. I am looking for another provider (which will be great fun in this area). If youre looking for internet service, look elsewhere.

Service is awful. I bought a game 2 weeks ago and its only half done downloading. The internet cant support more than one device or else it crashes. Reset the router its all crap. If we had anyone else to move to we would but we are stuck with your awful services. Do not buy!!!!

Signed up for internet and there was only a 12-month contract available, I said never mind knowing Im only going to need wifi for 4-6 months, as I got up to leave the lady told me she would waive the early cancelation fee ($200 cancellation fee mind you) and so as I move out of Brownwood I call and confirm that she is still going to waive my early cancellation fee and she said yes as long as the equipment was in good condition. Turned in the equipment that was in the same condition it was leased to me, gave her my forwarding address and went on my way. Get my bill and the $200 cancellation fee is still on there, so I call the store. The lady who answered the phone immediately had attitude with me when I tried to explain the situation. She tried to blame me for signing a contract when I said the lady made a note saying she would waive the fee. She said she saw no note so I asked if she could talk to whoever set me up and again no response just attitude. Service was okay when I did have the wifi it only worked at half speed than what I was paying for because it was inside my duplex not outside on the wall. Their customer service is not helpful. Wouldnt go with them ever again.

This company is a joke, whenever there is a problem they put you off. They put us off in November (when earlier they said it would be fixed then), and said it would be fixed in March, nothing done still. They promise to call you and they never do. If there were more options in Brownwood for any kind of fast internet I would switch asap. We have had slower internet than dial-up since they took over for the other company we had a year ago!!!

This comapny is a joke. Not only that they take great pains to insult you when you ask for help. Their billing is set up so that you pay in advance for the service you supposedly will receive for the coming month,i.e., you pay on September 1 for the alleged service you will receive in September.
