This place is great. It now has new items like steel traps for varmint hunting. Probably some gun nuts in there as well who can help you find what you are looking for in the firearms department. They also helped sponsor the kids fishing tournament this year. Which came with a chance to get some free worms for all who participated.

The BEST customer service sporting goods store I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to many. Angel goes above and beyond to educate on firearms and ammunition. Great selection so many great options. He knows this stuff. He is a patient teacher and doesn’t make you feel like a big dummy. There is a lot to know and understand. He made my experience of purchasing a firearm easy and I left with confidence. I highly recommend purchasing from WW sporting goods and attending firearm training with a licensed instructor. The staff here is always so very helpful. I order quite a bit online and pickup in the store, so I always encounter two employees. When I need something quirky, I am here!We have purchased all of our Stihl products here and will continue to do so. They carry the gas that is required for the warranty. Thank you for providing a wonderful little hometown hardware store!

I love their gun selection and ammo very well stocked few times Ive gone guy was very helpful with ammo and bags. But they hand you the ammo and then you walk away and the other employees start following you around as if youre going to steal the ammo... If youre so insecure about customers buying ammo maybe you should have someone walk it to the counter and hold it until the customer is ready to check out. Makes me feel uncomfortable when Im constantly being followed by men over a small ammo box. When I approached the counter the woman at the counter took the ammo and took 30 seconds starring at me up and down. I get that Im a different color than you but I doesnt give you the right to make me feel belittled. Anyways I love the guns and the man who helped me

This was my first visit to Weakley-Watson Ace Hardware in Brownwood TX and I was thoroughly impressed. Every employee I encountered, while I was looking around, greeted me with a smile and offered to help me locate what I was looking for. I purchased a large and heavy item and they had it on a dolly waiting for me when I got to the checkout counter. After I paid for it, they loaded it in my truck, thanked me for my business, and went after another customer to help. I really like this store. People are genuinely friendly and quality merchandise at very reasonable prices. This visit was a 90 mile round-trip visit for me, but Ill be back again.

The BEST!! Mr. Valdez just totally fixed my problem. My generator power adapter was run over and crushed. While no one sells these type of adapters, Mr Valdez took my crushed adapter, fixed it and went with me outside to test it on my generator. Everything works! Customer service at smaller hardware stores are better than big box places every time!

I started intentionally going here to support the local guy. I thought it would be more expensive and have less selection than the bigger places. But a year later, the prices are downright better and I dont remember a single time I was left wanting more. Just great people quick to help or leave you to browse. Quick in and quick out. I dont do reviews much, but I love this place enough to do one. Keep up the good work!

It is refreshing to find a family owned hardware store with excellent service. On many items they beat the big box stores in every way, including price. I am in there a few times a week and I always find what I need. From paint to garden items and tools and fasteners they always come through with fast friendly service.

Weakley Watson is truly the best hardware store in town. Not only do they almost always (like 99% of the time) have what you are looking for but the staff there is truly knowledgeable about what you need. I do not know how many times I have been to home depot looking for something and after 45 minutes of trying to find assistance they tell me they do not carry it or it does not exist. Then I go to Weakley Watson and before I even get in the door someone is asking if they can help me but then go straight to the piece I was just told does not exist. Weston you are doing a great job with the store. This place is 5 star!!!

I came in 5 minutes before close to buy paint that needed to be mixed. The employees were helpful and didnt rush me or push me out the door. I knew the were ready to get out of there because I would have been! The service and attitudes are superb!

Great place to go if you need something for home improvement, but need help finding just the right product. If u are attempting to fix something at home, but could use a little advice on selecting right items, then this is the place to go. Staff will actually seek you out just to see if be you need help, and if they we y dont have an item you need they will order it for you.When I needed parts to install a new dishwasher, first like many others do, u went to the big orange box store(Home Depot). After walking around that store for a few miles, not finding a worker, or finding them huddled around in a circle talking; I finally decided to just walk up to one and ask where to find parts I needed. I was told thats in plumbing, and thats not my dept, you will want to look for that person so, I decided to leave and try ACE, since I lived by it.I walked into ACE, and was immediately greeted by staff and asked if I needed help with anything. That person walked me over to a hookup kit for dishwashers and even recommended an electrician to hookup electrical parts.

Went in looking to replace an item I purchased. Needed correct one. They went beyond their duty to find me what I needed.

I needed help with an item. Im looking around for help...no one around. Then I see a woman standing there. I ask her about an item Im searching for, and she makes me look stupid by repeating what I need. (She needs to update that 60yr old haircut)And all this woman does is stand there and points me in a direction and says ask(I cant remember his name)he can help you like im suppose to know who he is. They done actually have uniforms there with name tags. I guess all she is good for is making keys. Rather have ACE hardware there. Id give it no stars but I guess the minimum is 1. Not sure if Mr. Watson would have liked her service.

I was in town visiting one of our children and needed a single nut -a 9 cent purchase. Westin came up to me and gave $90 worth of service. I was also able to get a Stihl weeder attachment off the shelf that was back-ordered in Houston for 2 months. Terrific service and product availability!

If you need anything Mike Blagg and his super helpful and kbowledgable employees will immediately look at every resource they have and find that product for you, order it and notify you when it comes in. In most instances they will have it for you in a week or less.

WENT RO REYURN AND THEY ACT LIKE THEY CANT READ THE ITEMS ON RECIEPT AND HAVE TO WAIT FOR A MAN TO COME BACK IN HOURS TO HANDLE IT. RIDICULOUS. I COME IN THIS BROWNWOOD STORE 2 OR 3 XS A WEEK BUT I PROMISE AS SOON AS A MAN SHIWS UP AND I HET MY $$$$ BACK I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!
