Follow up!The following day my battery died. I called Jose and he recommended I take it to Pilgers to check it out; I did but they said it would be about a 2 hour wait; called Jose back and he said bring the car; I did - he checked the battery cells and it was low; just because something is new does not mean it will work. He replaced my batter and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. CJ gave me a new receipt and I was on my way.

Battery red warning light came on on my dash and I drove straight to the Interstate Store on Finfeather. Been doing business there for 15 - 20 years. I dont remember the store being open for business because it was not 8 oclock in the morning. I really dont know, but got a replacement battery installed in about 15 minutes. Young man who installed it and also handled the payment transaction, Interstate, youve got a keeper. I will recommend this particular Interstate Store to anybody.

The guys at Interstate Battery were great. There was no waiting necessary. The only place Ill recommend to purchase and install your battery.

These guys will do whatever they can not to warranty a battery if I could give them 0 stars I would . Battery 7 months old and will not make it good . I will be calling BBB and writing a letter . They are rude and do not care about the customer At All !!!!!

So I had a faulty battery and struggled to find the correct replacement. Made several trips to IB local dealers, many but not all of whom wanted to sell me a replacement even though it was with in the free replacement period. The one IB shop that didn’t try that couldn’t get the replacement for over a week. They referred me to IB in Bryan and was in and out within minutes. No grief, no hassle. I dealt with three employees there (one by phone the day before, and two others in the store).

The gentle man threw threw my flash light at me and told me to leave the store.

Quick, efficient, affordable, quality batteries.

I showed up 10 minutes before 2pm (web says 3pm close) I was greeted with icey stares as I asked to buy a car battery. I was told they wouldnt spend the few minutes necessary to help me get a battery. The attendant mentioned that he had a life outside this job and he wouldnt do it. I have a life too, I chose to drive out of my way to get an interstate battery from this particular business, (I was a repeat customer). I was ready to spend a $100+ on a battery. All it cost them was a few minutes.... A few minutes before closing that they didnt have.

Never buy a used batt. They use the old ones to sell them . They gave me an old batt from walmart with the orig. Label peeled of and stuk a label from interstate to keep trak of it.THIS BATT. HAD ACID ALL OVER AND. THE NEXT MY SHIRT HAD A BIG HOME ON MY NIPPLE PART. I thought it was water residue i never imagine they were capable of selling that piece of ......!!

Ask questions and have some understanding of batteries before you get ripped off or before you get played. They hide allot of stuff or they just dont tell you.
