I am purchasing my first motorcycle from Pat. As soon as you meet him he feels like an old friend. He knows his stuff too. Been working on bikes for 27 years and Id recommend seeing him for any bike issue. Thanks Pat!

Best experience Ive ever had with motorcycle repair. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to motorcycles. Ive had a couple of repairs done here and things are always done right for a reasonable price. In addition, he is extremely efficient at getting things done. I will definitely take all of my bikes here for future repairs and upgrades.

NEVER, NEVER take anything for this man to fix. I have given him the benefit of doubt, for over 2 years. Only because he had EVER excuse in the book! He wanted this bike to look great when he was finished. He was paid more money up front, than it would have costed. I checked on it once a week for the longest, he had to keep sending things off to get them done. ( paint, saddle bags, new seat). Now know that there was nothing wrong with this bike when it was brought to him. Just wanted to put some money into it, restore it. Finally yesterday, his excuse was the paint had a run in it, he needed to get fixed. I told him to get my bike ready to be picked up. I wasnt waiting anymore. He wasnt there when I went to get it, of course. I picked it up, and NOTHING had been done. No new chrome, no new saddle bags, no seat. It was all lies. The paint is done, but looks horrible. This bike was picked up, not running, cables not there. I cant believe I gave PAT the time of day, thought he was honest, but never imagined he not only is dishonest, he is a poor excuse of a business owner. I have no receipt for anything he did( supposedly), and am out $4000.00! Oh, no, this is not the ending to a story. This will go to court. Beware people, this man is a fraud.

An amazing place to get work done on a variety of things!! One of the best shops in town! Very honest and straight forward! I see other people are complaining about him not answering the phone... Well he is a one man shop he runs everything himself so if he stopped what he was doing to answer the phone every time it rang he would never get anything done! also someone said something about it taking 2 years to get something fixed, thats probably because they guy wanted it fixed without having the money to get it fixed! if it was a big deal he could have picked up his bike whenever he wanted to, so it was his choice to leave it there for 2 years! its not like he was holding the bike! The man that owns this shop has over 40 years experience working on bikes and other things. Just because you ride a motorcycle or your father rides a motorcycle does not mean they know how to work on one! Thats just my opinion and my experience!

I bought an older (1980s) Kawasaki about 2 years ago that was rideable, but needed a lot of work. As I get money, I bring it into Brazos Valley Motorsports to have it worked on. Pat works on it and it is always running better coming out of his shop than it went in. It is true that it sometimes takes a long time, but the price is always good for me and Im confident that he will do the job right. Yes, he likes to talk to his customers. Knowing your customers is an old-fashioned way of doing things. I am a very happy repeat customer.

Good luck getting your bike back. He’s rarely at the office or answers phone calls.

This place is horrible. Do not take your motorcycle here if you want any maintenance work done. The owner gives you the run around about what work he is actually doing. My husband was supposed to have minor things done to his motorcycle and his motorcycle has been in his possession for over a month. Totally unacceptable...He did absolutely NOTHING to the motorcycle. No brake lights, no license plate light bulb....zip, nothing at all. Complete waste of time

Good place if youre not into sales staff being all up in your face with friendliness. Dudes there like to chat and know their stuff. True, its Harley place, mainly, but all the work I had done to my vintage Jappo was top notch and very reasonably priced. A mens kinda shop. Go somewhere else if you think your crappy little scooter deserves to be the center of attention.

WORST MECHANIC EVER!!!!!!!!!! This guy is a crook! I dropped my old school yamaha off there 7 weeks ago. About 2 weeks went by and I called up there. He said he was still waiting on parts from Canada. Thought to myself. 2 weeks was plenty of time. A hole week went by I tried calling. No answer. Left message. Call was NEVER returned. So I went up there. He said the parts were do in the next day. I said OK. I called the next day. No answer. Another week goes by. He said he got all the parts but one tiny rubber seal. But he had to get it from Canada. So 2 more weeks. I go up there. And the part was due in the next day.( sound familiar) I got tied up with my job. So a few days went by. I went back up there and hr said it will be ready for pick up on Friday. Go up there on Friday. And they were closed till Mon. So I called and called. Left messages. Never heard back. Monday came. Still never heard back. So went up there. He said it wasnt ready. And I owed more money. He said everything was done but the little flaps. Well he lied! Nothing was ever done. It ran when I dropped it off. It dont now. I had breaks when I dropped it off. It dont now.

Riders beware! Pat is a nice enough guy, but unfortunately a real hack of a mechanic. Believe everything you read about him not answering the phone or returning calls. Yes he is mostly a one man show, but there is zero effort made to keep you up to speed. He did all the maintenance and repairs on my bike, (Yamaha Road Star 1600) from 2011-2015 and everything beyond oil changes Ive had to have redone, paying parts and repairs a second time around to a different shop. As weve dug into these issues we find extremely poor and scary workmanship. He did a new fuel pump, told me it was OEM as I requested, and 18 months later when I had to replace it again and got a new OEM one it was totally different than what was on there, and my wiring harness was so far mangled from his putting a random pump on there it doubled the cost of the job to fix that as well. I really wonder if her even did any of the 4-5 oil changes I paid him for.Bottom line, just steer clear of this place, I think Pat takes advantage of a lot of people, not maliciously but just cuts corners at every chance. I dont have anywhere else in town to recommend, I dont live in the area any more. I am not a competitor in town like the one goody-two-shoes on here theorizes, I am a hard working blue blooded american that is frustrated about paying for sub-par work & services.

On May 5, 2011 I took my 2000 Indian chief to this shop ( 2011 ), to get it chromed, painted, the seats and saddlebags redone in ostrich skin, new wheels and whitewall tires w / a 4000.00 dollar deposit . Every time I would go up there and question him about the progress on the bike it was one excuses after another. First it was the paint he told me that he had it painted in Dallas by this no name guy, come to find out there was never a guy in Dallas it was painted at Macco. ( Worse paint job Ive ever seen ). Next was the seats and saddlebags, this man told me that he had the saddlebags done and ready to go on the bike, but he had to get the saddlebags stretched because it wouldnt fit over the fender. Well of course it tore (yeah right) ! To make a long story short on October 16, 2014, 3yrs. 5 months later I got tired of the excuses and told him to give me my bike back. Just as I expected nothing he said he had done was done he was lying the whole time ! When he was asked where the seats, saddlebags and tires were his answer was I sold them at the flea market in Dallas ( How convenient ) ! Also I asked him about the cost his reply was Ive done 5,100.00 dollars worth of stuff to the bike, this guy is one big liar. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a lot of time, stay clear of this place it is a scam and a fraud ! Will take him to court !!!

If negative stars could be applied to this rating, then I would. Took 6 months of receiving the runaround, excuses, and no return phone calls in order to decide to take my motorcycle elsewhere (I gave way too much benefit for the doubt). I was originally told (from Brazos Valley Motorsports) that it would cost $625 in used parts and closer to $1,500 in new parts to replace the rear differential (excluding labor). Only by periodically visiting the shop was I told the used part arrived after 3 months from dropping off the motorcycle. After 3 months of no work from when the part arrived (6 months total wait time), I explained I was going to pick up the motorcycle whether it was fixed or not – obviously it was not fixed (was told the used part was bad). Took it to another repair shop in town, the motorcycle was fixed in 2 weeks and it cost less than $500 in new parts (the new shop had to replace the drive shaft that was taken out of the motorcycle from Brazos Valley Motorsports, otherwise it would have cost less) and labor to have it repaired. Long story short, be extremely wary of Brazos Valley Motorsports. Unless you personally know the owner or completely understand the potential situation you are entering, I would not touch this place with a 10-foot pole.
