Only come to Mr. Park, thee Mr. Park, if you want a honest mechanic. Steed wasnt the cheapest after 3 quotes but he was the most honest and most capable to do a rebuild of a RMS and cover plate. After 2 years of self changing oil. Mr. Park was upfront with all charges and work that needed to done. I have trust issues but Mr. Park assured me it wont be a problem. Read the other reviews, they all involve being honest and trustworthy. If you want a HONEST mechanic to keep you informed come to Steed Auto Repair.Update 7,000 miles later and on the east coast.No leaking anywhere and truck performance was top notch.

I came here to check a noise that my tire was making. It turns out that it was just my mudguard that was hanging loose that was hitting the wheel every time that it rotated. However they did notice that my alignment needed straightening and they fixed it at a reasonable price. the main thing that I liked about this place is that they call you to the back and show you exactly what is going on with the car, that is a demonstration of how honest they are to the client and they break down whats wrong with the car and what needs to be fixed. My experience here was positive and I would come again for another repair.

Took in my car to have the Air conditioning fixed and had to go back for a second repair to learn the first fix I paid a $130 was wrong.The first repair replaced the air conditioning gas for about $130.On my way home it became apparent that the AC was still not operating properly with hot air coming out.I returned to let them know the AC was not fixed and learned that the AC relay needed to be replaced.Replacing the relay was a less than $20 fix and I was still stuck with footing the bill for the first $130 repair. I would understand if the owner wanted to keep the cost of the gas and compromise, but my complaint ended with the owner telling me not call again and abruptly hanging up for calling out this error.The mechanic did not properly investigate and diagnose my AC problem and made me foot the bill for an unnecessary fix.

This is the place to go if you need a mechanic. They are up front with you on what your car needs. Prices are decent maybe higher then somewhere else but not by much. I don’t mind paying them because I trust them. Will always be taking my cars here.

Honest, quick, and cheap. I don’t go anywhere else. They also do labor only services for those who like to buy their own specific product line for their cars. Sometimes they offer generic parts to save you money and they work great.

I have been coming to Steed for years. I have always appreciated the service and attention that is shown to me and every customer that walks in.The best part about Steed is not the friendly staff, the professionalism, or the honest evaluation (all they have) but knowing that they will tell me what needs to be done. No upsell or addition of parts that are not necessary.They will let you know the pros and cons of each repair recommended and what has to be done but will not add $500 of, It would be nice to do so you dont have to next year, repairs. Though they have been right on when they have recommended preventive maintenance.That is more valuable then anyone can possibly say.

Ive been coming here for over 15 years and Im proud to say that I will be their lifetime customer. I have never once encountered one incident where I was a dissatisfied customer. Steed Alignment specializes in European, Japanese, and American vehicles (cars, trucks, RVs, and even limos)! They are also open on Saturdays which makes it convenient for my schedule. The waiting area has water, coffee, magazines, and TV to keep you from being bored. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an oil change, check up, or service to their car.

I dont know if the ownership has changed in the last 12 yesrs or not but if they didnt, they are the worst scammers and liars. Scammed a girl who was ahead of me in line. They told her your air filter is too dirty and legally we cant let you drive out of here with it and charged her $20 to change the air filter. Bunch of con men, liars, and thieves. Havent been to this place due to their scummy business practice and told everyone I know to avoid them on over a decade.

Ive been going to Steed Auto on and off for over 5 years and theyve helped me with all of my maintenance, repairs and alignments. I even buy tires from them when needed. Their prices are competitive, I love the fact that they use quality parts and clean service. I always get treated with respect too. Its sad to see some people think otherwise but I owe them a positive review for the great service they provide me and my family. I drive from South Orange County to them because i have full trust in their work and advise. I say to hon.chan - you usually pay what you get for and to alee33 - better hope that was all that was wrong. To everyone else, try them out - these guys have been there for many years, theyre always packed and no rip-off shop IMO is that busy or in business as long as they have.

I saw the ad on the penny saver. Went and paid $100 so they could check the AC and add freon. Turns out my car is has a leak. Now they want to charge me +$300 to fix the leak. I should have left my AC alone since the beginning. Those are $100 im never getting back. I figured they would have checked it first, at least with what the ad stated. It isnt their fault that it has a leak but it could have been prevented.

Horrible!!! I took my van for check up for coolant leak. Told me that the radiator needs replacement and wanted to charge me over $400. I fixed it for $15. It was a small crack in the hose that goes from the radiator to the reservoir bottle. DONT GET RIPPED OFF. Stay away!

Mechanic cant tell the difference between a rack and pinion unit and an inner tie rod.I ran a dial indicator on the TIE ROD and the hub .01 of lash the thump they were talking about is in the rack assemnbly.
