It seems they, the employees dont know their own guidelines for accepting boats in for repair. After confirming they do indeed research why vessels are taking on water perhaps in a cracked livewell line, a very long drive to leave the boat with them proved fruitless as I was told they do not work on boats older than the year 2000 even though theyd worked on this very boat two years prior. Very poor respect of a repeat customer and know while I trusted them to perform the job well, a boat of mine will never set foot on that lot again.

After 6 weeks of having my boat and having service done to the both motors. Took the boat on vacation and after running the motors I notice that I was burning oil and when I took the boat out of the water this is what I found. OIL RUNNING OUT FROM THE FOOT AND THE GEARS STRIPPED OUT ON LEFT MOTOR. AFTER PAYING 2000.00 DOLLARS. THANKS GWINNETT MARINE 😑😑

What a great team of people to work with! Jody and Dean are top notch! They made sure all of my questions were answered. Showed me several boats that they had in stock and never pressured me. Once I made the decision on the boat I wanted. Everything moved quickly. When I picked up my new Ranger boat everything in detail was explained. This is a top notch dealer!! Great group of people!!

This place was great. The employees and services was top notch. I came to Lake Lanier for a FLW tournament and had some issues during practice. Kyle and their staff went out of their way to get my boat fixed so I didnt have to pull out of the tournament. One of the best. I will be recommending them to other guys on the tour. Thanks guys.

I needed help with parts and advice on repair of a Motorguide saltwater trolling motor that I did not buy from them. Kyle and the other staff went out of their way to make sure I ordered the correct parts and gave me good advice on how to make the repair. I found their prices to be reasonable and the customer service was excellent. They have earned my future business.

After taking my boat to two different mechanics that were unable to fix it (even after having it in their possession for months), Gwinnett Marine did what the others were unable to do. They quickly diagnosed the problem and promptly returned my boat to me! The boat performed at an optimal level; four months later, it is still running perfectly. My boat cover (admittedly, an inexpensive one) was torn during this process, and the manager also gave me a replacement cover that is much better quality than the cover I originally had on the boat. I would highly recommend Gwinnett Marine to anyone!

These guys are great. Kyle has been helping me through the process of some repairs, and has gone the extra mile for me a couple of times. The best part of that is, I hadnt even bought anything yet. Thanks to their help I wont be in the market for a new motor anytime soon, but when I am I wont go anywhere else.

Do NOT take your boat here. They took mine in and told Evinrude I hit something which nothing showed that which I didn’t on a brand new boat. Evinrude did not cover it under warranty because there were some cuts on the prop which are common when you use a boat not rocket science. They knew I would file insurance and they would make more money. Bad business.Do not take your boat here please.

Just purchased a Silver Wave from these guys and was pleased with the whole process. I had some pretty odd requests too, like borrowing a trailer to make sure if fits down the driveway, looking over the boat, looking over the boat again, looking over the boat just 2 more times, test ride in the freezing cold, etc... Wade, John and Kyle are good people in my book and extremely knowledgeable about their products. I wouldnt hesitate to send business their way any day.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I took my boat to Gwinnett Marine for a simple bellows replacement about two years ago as the boat was leaking. They said it was fixed along with an anode I had asked to get replaced. As I walked out examine the motor, I noticed the replaced anode was not even there! They had forgotten it. When I told an employee I was promptly cussed out. They fixed it at an additional charge !! I took it out on the water a week later only to discover the bellows were installed incorrectly and the boat was taking on even more water. I took it to a recommended mechanic and he had it fixed within a few days. A few years later I decided to give them another shot and took my new to me boat to have a tune up. They replaced a few things and I was back on the water doing fine. Months later I took off the motor cover to check everything only to discover they never even replaced what I asked for! The customer service is awful and the boat service is even worse. Do yourself a favor and keep your boat AWAY from this abomination of a shop.

The place is ample, pretty clean and easy access. Pretty good location. Walked in today with my small Suzuki outboard that I purchased recently. Asked if they could test it out to see if it was properly running as I dont have a tank or something similar to carry out a test. If anything missing Id leave it there for fixing as they are an authorized Suzuki dealer. I was told that they could only help me 3 weeks out. Really? Three weeks for a two-minute test? They did not even bat an eye when I pushed back. Bad costumer service. Will never return.

After spending over $1000 for repairs and winterizing. I park the boat for the winter. When my buddy who knows boats better than me says that the freeze plug is missing. I went back and asked about it, and they tell me that the hole is not important, and I can just caulk it. Though I was miffed because they remove this to winterize the boat, I did as they asked. I also asked if I had to do anything else, they said, just get in it and run it. I did, the engine overheated within 5 minutes. I found out that the mechanic left the exhaust pipes disconnected and that the caulk just fell out instantly. Brought it back to them, and no response for a week. When I called them, I got a nice rude cussing. This place doesnt deserve to be in business.

Been taking my boat here for years. The staff is easy to deal with and trustworthy. They have the same issues that most boat repair places have. Mainly that the lead time for work is 3+ weeks in the spring and early summer. However, the quoted lead time is accurate and its up to the customer to make the decision to drop off. I would suggest anyone go ahead and have Gwinnett Marine do the work in spite of the lead time. Wade and staff are reasonably priced and trustworthy in what sometimes seems like a sketchy industry. They stand behind their work and even thought the labor rates went up recently, I still dont hesitate to take my boat here.

Gwinnett Marine is five star!! My family appreciates the honest and helpful way that they do business. Kyle is always friendly & professional. The owner, Wayde runs their service department and I have seen first hand how he goes above and beyond to earn his customers business. It is nice to see an owner who is so involved with the staff & customers. John is the sales manager and I sure am glad that he is there! He knows how to make the process of buying a boat stress-free & follows through after the buying process. I would strongly reccomend visiting Gwinnett Marine. Their team makes you feel like family!

We had to have an older Volvo Penta Duoprop drive rebuilt completely on our Crownline. I must have spent several months trying to find someone around Lake Lanier to work on Volvo drives. Not even the Crownline dealer knew how to work on them. Wade took the time to go through the drive completely and explained everything he had to do to get the drive back 100%. I would recommend these guys from drives to engines to outboards. They are really helpful and charge very reasonable rates. I will always use Gwinnett Marine for the maintenance of our boat!
