Needs better hours and to be open on weekends

Went to AbelCine for the first time and I was so impressed by the level of customer service I received. When I called, Danielle answered the phone and she was very friendly and helpful and got me to the right person right away. I then went to the store and was helped by Ian, Brandon, and Timothy. I was really amazed by how friendly, knowledgeable, and committed everyone was to resolve the issue. There are many photography and video stores in LA, but this place is cut above the rest in regard to the quality of service. I will definitely return and highly recommend anyone to check out this place!

From my multiple experiences at AbelCine.... I usually walk around looking for a sales agent. Once I finally get someone they usually have no clear updates or ETAs available for me. I only go when I am forced to now, which luckily is less and less with all the new shops opening in the area.

In a single afternoon my agent Michael Puglisi helped me order an out of stock item and made sure Id get it by the date I needed. We probably called or emailed back and forth ten times. Great customer service.

This place has incredible staff. Beautiful layout inside the store. HUGE variety of gear. Best experience in LA so far.

PLACED MY ORDER ONLINE AND GOT 1 OF THE 2 PIECES WE ORDERED. AFTER I CONTACT THE ONLINE TEAM THEY SAID I NEVER PLACED AN ORDER EVEN THOUGH I HAVE RECEIPT. THEN THEY DO NOT REPLY. SCAM WEBSITE!!! AVOID!!

3rd time I have called and suffered through a 20 minute call, only to find it is “special order”. I don’t know why this place has no inventory. This is basic gear everyone else consistently has. Not a good place to work with.

This place is baaad. I got the wrong part sent to me from their website, and I had to drive all the way there to return it. When I got there the lady Erin Poole was at lunch for 2 HOURS, and she was the only when who can do my return. When she finally arrives instead of apologizing for inconvenience she argues and tells me she is proud of what was done while she was out (nothing was done though). Not sure why someone like her has a job. Never shopping here again!

Pretty poor customer service and low quality staff. I was overcharged, and it took an hour to fix their accounting error.

Great place but bad customer service overall. Tristan didnt even acknowledge me as a customer hell rather text on his phone. Next time I will order Atmosphere Aerosol online. Thanks but no thanks.

Erin Poole was extremely rude in the handling of my return. If you want to miss out on accessories for your shoot and deal with lazy people named Erin who just pass the buck. Go here.

Too many missed ETAs. They always have an excuse, but that does nothing for me. Had to go over budget on two jobs because they dropped the ball and forced me to go somewhere else last minute. Done here!!

Abel cine had partnered up with red to do the reduction. It is a three day class that will teach you more than you ever wanted to know about a red camera as well as work flow. I really learned a lot in three days. Thanks abel cine

My experience with the returns department was mediocre at best. Pretty condescending and rude.

Bad experience here! Overpriced and slow with the updates. These guys need to get into the modern times.

The service and sales departments are atrocious. Rentals is good but extremely over priced. Not sure how these guys are still in business! Avoid!

A shoutout to the team at AbelCine. I dropped my camera, broke my glass lens cover and bent the rim. They were able to remove it and fixed it so I can screw a new one back on. Thanks guys!!

Whoa. Get some employees that don’t make you stand around for 20 minutes while they all talk. The workers at the window were getting really mad that no one would clear up our order. Finally the girl by the window overheard and was very condescending towards us all and acted like we did something wrong for needing help. If I ever need an expensive lens again i will go somewhere else due to all the problems I keep having here.

When your show absolutely cannot fail, come to this vendor. Period. You get what you pay for.

I cannot believe the unprofessionalism that just oozes from this place. Inside the building is dim and unorganized, looks like a Halloween maze. The workers all stand around and mouth-breathe/socialize. Avoid avoid avoid

A lot of people socializing with each other while I uncomfortably stood around. Someone else said it, and I couldn’t agree more. Erin is more inclined to argue and escalate my issues than she is to resolve them.

What’s up with the employees? Stood around and finally left. This is why everyone gets stuff online now a days. Problem is, your website is even worse! Lost my business...

Rental gear was not functional. Shipped to me for a shoot, and didnt even work. QC YOUR GEAR!
