No social distancing in this store eventhough most restrictions were lifted but it was crowded and no social distancing. Also we waited for someone to help us with shoes and no one came around so we had to leave the store. They do have a variety of water shoes but not all sizes were available for women. 😢 came out empty handed but I wish I couldve found my water shoes and camping boots. Gonna go check out the Glendale location they have nearby, hopefully that one is better. They did have this really cute tree outside which made my day 😀 plenty of parking spaces but most were taken today.

Shoes selection is good. I wish that employees were more aware of the needs of the customer. track them down and all I got was a finger point to the location???what happened to customer service.the female employee at the register was very pleasant...so I guess my exit after the purchase was good.

Ive been going to this BIG5 for years.Store Employees are very welcoming and nice. Good selection of products. Big5 ALWAYS has a sale. The store is much much cleaner than the other (store) I visited. Definitely go to THIS PLACE.

I have been coming here for years and this location has a great clothing selection. I used to get my shoes there most of the time but they were also great. The store is always stocked except for the ammunition department since the pandemic hit they have been out. Some staff is not too friendly 🙄 😒 but for the most part the rest are helpful. The store is clean the parking is good and there are place nearby to get food before or after your shopping.

First time ever going to this Big 5, and overall not a bad experience. I went in looking for one thing and found more, and not so bad prices.

They’re not enforcing covid protocols, last night a senior citizen was literally right next to me in line to pay with a face shield no mask and I tried to distance myself, but he kept following me insisting he needed to be next to me. I had to ask him to back up multiple times and employees never said a thing to him.

April is the perfect time to buy the floating gear for the kids.

My daughter helped me pick out a pair of shoes for the outdoors. The salesman helped finalize the sale. Nice young woman took my money and I exited.

This place will never cease to surprise me when I walk in and I immediately see what I need as soon as I enter. The staff were so nice too!

This Big5 branch is well managed. I have been a customer for the last 15 years. I deducted one star because they never have a large or double sleeping bag. Other than that, I like this place.

For many decades, this store has been a go-to sporting goods store for me. In other words, this store and I go way back. I bought a slew of shoes and gloves last year, and I got them all here, even with all the crazy store limitations that we had going on back then, e.g. I had to wait in line in May a year ago before I could go on my shopping spree. The staff here is very hard-working and helpful. Perfect location in the middle of Burbank, but thankfully, away from the crowded downtown and Empire Center.

Had the goods expected. Still need more customer service members on the floor.

Didnt have a radio because it cause me to come home late.

Every so often they run great specials. This week $50 off Nike sunglasses. The rep behind the counter was very patient with me and I end up buying two.. nothing like, saving 100 bucks and getting a great pair of sunglasses.

No bathroom!!! Walk the store looking for help, all up front talking, had to rush to Lancers.

Bad experience I had today with this Big 5 Sporting Goods in Burbank. For about a week Ive been looking online to purchase 3 spin cycle exercise bikes but I needed it to buy them asap, i was in the area and decide to stop by and wouldnt you know they happen to have spin cycle Marcy brand which I needed them now. I only give 1 star because of young ladies in the front counter very nice courteous and helpful but the large gentleman towards the back refuse to let me test the sample cycle bike in the store so in case it was not sturdy or to make sure it was just fair enough to purchase them, I tried and tried but basically he did not wanted to sell so I left upset disappointed, never will I go bck. Rude.

Was running an errand in Burbank when I happen to see Big 5. Decided to stop by as I been in search for knee straps/bands. Big 5 did have knee straps/bands from one company, Mueller.Ending up making the purchase.Note: Store is somewhat compact/small. So I had to go out of my way to social distance from other customers.

Great selection and in stocks at this store and the employees are helpful and courteous. I will usually only shop at this Big 5 store in Burbank. If you call them they are pretty helpful and upfront on stocked items. I signed up for their daily and weekly deals.

Always good to see the new camping gear they are so helpful and honestly want you to get your monies worth I love burbank even more now good job guys

Don’t bother asking if they have items on hand. They’ll tell you they don’t have stock but just be completely unaware that they haven’t stocked the items in the correct location yet. Highly recommend going to other locations.

It was my first experience visiting Big O’s. It is a really sharp place. The inside is spotless and the decor looks great. Very comfortable atmosphere. The staff are very professional. Safety measures due to Covid are strictly enforced. That was awesome. Jay did an awesome job on my flat top. I will definitely be returning.

Except 1 nice Asian guy who works hard to help out customers, I find the customer service at this place below ZERO STAR including those female Mexican cashiers.Please find someone who is nice and wants to work there!

Since all gyms are closed, I needed an extra pair of weight plates for my small at home gym. This location (surprisingly) had some in stock which was awesome! Service could be better but I understand since everyone is kinda stressed at these times.

I come here for fuel for my camp stove but theres so much here, I must return to find shoes. Friendly folks. Easy parking.

I am very happy with the staff member that took my phone call that put my free weights on hold for me till I got there. They were the last set of weights that are now hard to come by.

If youre an educated shopper its a great location to find hidden sales. You just need some knowledge or a bit of on Location researching as the staff is 50/50 on their sales knowledge. Not a bad place to get what you need at a decent price!

Sports store that actually has things in stock, and all sports. Options for all levels from cheap beginner to nice advanced items. I knew what I wanted and did not need assistance so not sure how they are in regards to guidance on needed goods

Great staff.

I went to take the firearms safety certificate test and they wouldnt do it unless you were going to buy your gun from them. They had a handful of shotguns and nothing else so I left. I also asked about paintball guns and they had none.

Great prices, great service, good selection, good staff. I went in to do a return and buy a couple pairs of shoes. I walked in and was immediately greeted and taken care of. Then the helped find a couple pairs of odd sized shoes. They were great and I checked out, everything done without a hitch. Ill wait and stop by on a trip out there than go to my local Pasadena branch who is lacking a lot lately.

Went for shoes and found a good variety of mid-quality options along with some of the bigger brand names. Shoes are stacked in boxes so you can serve yourself, but clerks are there to help or to check the storeroom in case you cant find what you want. Sales staff are non-commission and low pressure, but still quite helpful.

The store is easily visible from the street, ample parking, super fast checkout, the only concerning observation was a young female employee answered the phone on speaker phone and the person on the other side asked if the shorts were still on sale the employee then replied with a short tone what shorts?. I felt the employee could of said,Im sorry could you please be more specific

August 2020 ... the store had way too many people in it for dealing with a pandemic. I wanted in and out as fast as I could. Found was I was looking for but didnt want to even look around considering the amount of people in the store at one time.

Good place to look for sporting goods but the brands arent that great at least for outdoor pursuits like camping or snow sports. Its a good place to get sporting clothes though and theyre pretty affordable. It is a maze inside but the staff seems to be helpful and would point you in the right direction. Nice big parking lot and very accessible from traffic.

Cashier rudely told me I wasnt allowed to bring my bike inside. Even after I explained I didnt have a lock . It was an emergency i needed a patch kit for my bike.... I left

Nice store and employees. Couldnt find what we were looking for. We were searching for a larger tent and was window shopping pricing and availability of other necessities for our camping trip in August. They didnt have the huge variety of supplies we were looking for. All in all, still a great location with great prices but unfortunately all the items on sale werent what we were looking for at the time but well be back! Really loved the landscaping of the tree located at the back of the parking lot. It may be for the security cameras but it looks like the tree is smiling which makes me smile! LOL

Customer service was great. They had what I needed. Parking is great. Easy to find from the street.

Just moved here from New York where there are no Big 5 sporting good stores. Glad I found this place. For you East Coast transplants its like a cheaper Modells but with better quality items. I always go there first for sneakers and Sporting Good type stuff. Unfortunately I dont really carry any hockey gear. Theres also ample parking.

Cashier was very unfriendly and there was way too many people inside . No social distancing. Was extremely hot inside I guess there A/C doesnt work !! 🥵🥵

Fantastic staff, super helpful. Great stuff that are simple essentials for camping and/or travel and/or sports. We found several things we needed for a trip at a great price. Aisles are a bit crowded but who cares. Terrific staff and easy location make it so worth a visit.

Was trying to call for thirty minutes. They must keep their phones off the hook which is infuriating because I dont want to drive 40 minutes total to find out the dont have the one and only item Im looking for. Every other big 5 I called answered. Ended up making the drive, they didnt even know what I was talking about..

One of those stores I never think about when needing something but then somehow end up there and getting what I needed. Loaded up on summer items for the lake. Shopping is a bit tight because they pack so many items closely together but having so many items to choose from is the positive flip side to that. Go here first, not those other messy stores.

The store has a large selection of Sporting Goods. And the prices are pretty good. Their sales are very good. The big problem that I have is the customer service. It is non-existent. If you need help to find something youre on your own. That has been my experience every time I go there.

Good outdoor selection of prices. The sale section was good too for workout and swim attire. This is one of the nicer and more quality feeling big 5 I have been to. If you’re in the area I’d check it out.

I went to big 5 with gift cards from Christmas and thankfully they had a real nice champions sweat outfit on sale for $39I got the sweatshirt /hoodie and sweatpants real nice color too
