Loved this place so much! Everyone who works here is so very helpful. They all took on the task of finding elements for my daughters Halloween costume until they found the perfect outfit. And reasonably priced too! Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

I have been going to this store for 16 years, and feel that it is a reliable place to find funky costuming and retro odds and ends. I do agree that on some items it is outrageously overpriced, BUT youre going to have a struggle finding those white go go boots in your size anywhere else. Also, I called ahead of time and found that in a price comparison, the black and white striped stockings I needed are HALF the price at Junk for Joy than they are across the street at Halloweentown. I hope this store never closes.

Awesome selection for costumes from various timelines: medieval, Victorian, Edwardian, roaring 20s, etc. Costumes are divided by industry as well: food, military, sanitation, etc. They have clutch purses, capes, cravats, bow ties, hats... AND the staff is super helpful and informative if you have a particular need.

Kathleen is my secret weapon for costuming for shoots. I can walk in and say I need a 1950s pink diner dress in a size 14 and a 12 and she will say hmmmmm let me take a look I think we have something THEN as if by magic comes back with the exact thing in the exact sizes as requested.AND They rescue and foster homeless pets. saving vintage from landfill and helping animals...they are magical super heros.
