Dr Monji and his staff were very thorough in the many tests they gave me, that covered the full realm of what I needed as a senior. You could tell what a great customer service company they created, and that they really worked as a very knowledgeable and happy team. I look forward to having them on my team for many years!

Ive been going here for 15 years. Love these guys! Professional, fun, friendly. Last visit 6-2-20. My first real exposure to people I know outside of my family bubble since this nightmare started. I had a great time and got some cool glasses! And in the past they got me in right away when I had what turned out to be a detached retina and set me up with surgery the same day. Also recommended Dr. Berg to fix my cataracts and implant some lenses. Bottom line I see better than I did 15 years ago thanks to Dr. Monji and Kathy and the rest of the team. You cant do better. I have tried other facilities in and out of the town, some which was necessity due to my business relocation, but always never get as same as Monjis professional opinion and courtesy by their staffs. They are the best.

Even when insurance carriers changed, they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. If Monji is not on a plan, that’s a plan I will not be using! Highly recommended.

Dr. Monji is the best, most honest eye doctor I have ever been to! I have been going to him for over 10 years, and I have recommended him to all my friends, whether they have their own optometrist or not. Hes patient, kind, and very personable. If I dont need a new prescription he wont lie to me and tell me I do just so he can make more money off of me (Im talking to you, my old eye doctor from 12 years ago!) His staff is excellent as well, very friendly and easy to deal with. Love their professionalism. They have a great selection of glasses and colored contacts. The office is clean and theres usually never a long wait to see him, though I know he is very popular.I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone! I cant sing his praises enough!

The office followed safety protocols such as taking your temperature & having plexiglass shields up at the counter. The exam room was cleaned with disinfectant before I entered it. Overall, I felt safe in the office.

LOVE Monji optometry. Ive been going to this office for 40 years and have seen three different doctors over those 40 years. Office staff is top notch; LOVE the gals up front. Honestly, they are friends and I always enjoy my visits. My optical needs are always met and I come away happy and satisfied (which I cannot say about leaving other medical offices). Great eyeglass selection and I just switched to the most comfortable contact lenses Ive ever worn (I have dry eyes so this is a major find). Love Monji optometry, you will too! P.S. the contacts that are the bomb (Acuvue Oasys just didnt do it for me) are Precision 1 dailies by Alcon!!!! Oh my gosh, try them. Pure comfort like no other contact lens (for me anyway).

Dr. Hovakemian was very thorough with my examination, taking her time to answer my questions with clear explanations. Dr. Hovakemian performed test that prior to this visit were never performed at Costco Optometry department where I used to go. Monji Optometry was even able to bill my insurance company directly vs having to be reimbursed by my employer. I will definitely come back for all Optometry needs.

My family has been going to Monji Optometry for over 20 years. They provide great continuing care for the health of our vision because they schedule our annual checkups; and I am so thankful they send those ‘reminder cards’ and bday cards in the mail cause the year goes by quickly! The older I get, the worse my eyesight gets, so it’s so relieving to go to a great optometrist, who I trust, to help me and my family with our eye glass prescriptions. I love the eyeglass selections too and want to go back to pick another pair! Also the front desk staff are wonderful and always make my young son feel special and taken care of. I went into Monji Optometry with an eye emergency. The staff was very helpful and caring. All the doctors are amazing. As soon as my insurance is eligible I will be back as a patient.

We had our son’s glasses redone due to a tiny chip in the corner. Monji Optometry replaced the lens with no fuss at all. It is ALWAYS a comfortable experience, to the extent that it never feels like a business transaction.

I was part of the practice that Drs Monji & Saldana bought back in 1991 I became Dr Monjis patient upon the retirement of Dr Saldana/Takaki in 2015 I have frequent astigmatism changes and routinely see Dr Monji every 6 months. I have referred others to this office and if you need a good eye doctor and wonderful staff this is certainly the place for you (Not to mention that they are only a short block from the Burbank public parking). If I did not feel they have my best vision care at heart I certainly wouldnt stay with them all these years. Give them a chance if you are looking for a good vision practice
