I like the store, but there was a weird feeling that I had that they felt like I was about to steal. I had two workers come up to me and asked me if I needed some help, and then I had one woman just standing very close to me if she was watching my every move. For one thing, I do not steal and I had never given them the impression that they had to watch me. Two, they need to learn the 10 foot rule. I work for retail, and we have to practice that rule, even if someone was attempting to steal. So, the funny thing is, I bought some items from that particular store and I spent over 30 dollars. I was dressed very casual and I think because I didnt have a purse that they felt that I was their target. Not all women go out with purses. This day I didnt feel like taking mine, little did I know I was going to have eyes on me the whole time.

Horrible young lady cashier with glasses gave horrible customer service. An item didnt have a price so she refused to get a manager for pricing and has the nerve to say Damn when I asked to speak to a manager. I will never bring my business to this location again.

I love Spirit. I love that when a store closes we can always look forward to a Spirit Halloween store opening. I enjoy coming here and soaking in the atmosphere and of course buying stuff.

The cashier was sweet but the floor person very mean and unprofessional. I wasn’t sure if she was a manager but she was very unprofessional to say the least. Me and my daughter was exiting after a costume purchase and I had a question but she turned to her right looked at my daughter up and down as we waited for her get done with a customer. She didn’t smile and didn’t say I’ll be with you ladies in a moment. Just gave my daughter a vulgar look. Of course my daughter noticed and was offended because it was very offensive. Just pure ignorance and I will report her to the corporate office. It’s like she wanted to fight us because I had a question as we waited there quietly. I think she was just racist because what reason would she act in such a manner. Who goes back in forth with a customer? Very argumentative for no reason.

I don’t normally leave reviews when service is bad... but service at Spirit Halloween on 84th and Cicero in Burbank is remarkably bad. Placed a large selection of items on hold and were told store closed at 9pm. Got there at 8:40pm and Frank (who is apparently the person in charge) told us that we had been given the wrong time and they were closed but our items would be put aside for today. No apologies. Got there today and items weren’t put aside anymore. Frank said “when I was talking to you yesterday, my assistant was putting everything away. I’m sure all the items are still here in the store”. No apologies, no sorry for the multiple miscommunications. Stay away from this place if you’re looking for good customer service.

The store is great but the staff is horrible . Specifically one lady who I think is a manager. I noticed she would just watch me around the store even though I was with my child and when I asked her a question she looked at me very rude and said she couldnt attend me so she told another employee of my same race to help me. She was following all around the store but couldnt help me when I needed her that shows you something.
