Amazing little hole in the wall game store with a lot of charm and amazing atmosphere. This shop offered a variety of services and products! We just got finished visiting and I couldnt wait to write them a good review. If you like to game and live in the area, they have a schedule of weekly events and if youre out of range, its worth the weekend trip to just shop around, look at some cats, and buy some dice! Darby was an excellent tour guide and such a sweet and personal employee. They are very personable and welcoming. A+ in my book!

As a tea-sipping, game-playing, cat-loving nerd, this place is a piece of heaven. Where else in the world can you pick up tea leaves, find a new favorite board game and adopt a cat in one spot? Plus, there is always open parking and the staff is helpful and friendly. Ive never been disappointed at Geeky Teas.

One of the best Geeky places! Donna, one of owners is nice and helpful with your board game and tea selection. They have shop cats that wander around and cats for adoption. Their board game and geek goods selection is wonderful. I love their teas. And you can play games all day for $5-10. The rooms are themed and the art on the walls make my geeky heart smile. I love their events as well.

Fantastic game store with a great selection of games and tea. Theyve got just about everything, although they dont have much in the way of wargames. Staff is courteous and love to talk about what theyre playing.And theyve got two shop cats that play fetch!

I went here with my son to pick up an item he had ordered and was blown away by the selection of Board games they had. I dont know the first thing about Board games but this store has to be a must go to if you are looking for a Board game. Im sure that a lot of these games can be bought online, but this is a local merchant who deserves the support. They provided excellent service for the order my son picked up.

Fantastic gamers den/boutique. They sell a bunch of table top games that you may be able to demo in their party game room (a mere $5 for all day entry!) along with other nerdy memorabilia (like dice, DM books, figurines) and for some reason, tea (I mean its in the name but like ???).I dont know much about the tea having never tried it but the ingredients and what not look quite lovely.Another good reason to go here besides to play Warhammer would be to play with the store cats (Mr. President and Oscar) or to check out their kitty rescue adoption room.If you guys do come to play with the cats please I cannot stress this enough, let them give you a sniff and dont make sudden movements. Cats (and all small creatures) are naturally skittish around things much bigger than them. Also pet down their hair and not up. I seen too many people come by and deny the cats of their proper greetings which is fine since ignorance is a bliss but to everyone who does read this...

I love it here, the staff is so kind and welcoming. You know how sometimes at game stores you can get an intimidating vibe if you dont know what youre looking for or dont game a lot? I never got that feeling here, even when I was really new to table top gaming. The Adventurers League that plays here is also really welcoming for new players, I cant wait until its safe and we can meet in store to play again. Also they have two store cats that are the best, Carlos and Mr. President, and they have a cat rescue inside the store! They also are taking COVID precautions very seriously.

Theyre open to retail business but have the game tables closed right now for obvious reasons. They ask you to wash your hands immediately upon entry and have a bathroom conveniently located to do so. This shop has a great selection of games, nerd paraphernalia, and models. They sometimes foster cats in the store, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They apparently sell great tea too but thats not really my thing so dont take my word for it, go talk to them!

Im sad that I dont live in LA because this game store is amazing. The teas are top tier! They have a awesome game selection and the owners are knowledgeable and fun to chat with. When the pandemic is over, they will once again offer free to play game tables and they will host all kinds of events. Lets not forget that they foster cats. I love this place!

This is my favorite game shop in the whole world! It has everything you could possibly want: tea, British candy, cats, games, and all other manner of geeky goods! This shop became like a second home to me when I was living in Burbank, and although COVID definitely put a damper on the amazing D&D nights that the shop used to host during the week, I know it will be just as busy when everything finally opens up fully again!

We rented the party room and had a fun time! There are 8 chairs available but we only had 6 people. This enabled us to put our snacks at one end of the table. They turned on the AC for us which was essential!

Love this local boardgame store. Friendly helpful employees, well stocked with the current games as well as old favorites. They are fully equipped with paints from all brands for painting your minis. Great store!

Best game store in Los Angeles! Geeky Teas has a great selection of strategic board games, RPGs, and a miniature painting supplies. As well as teas and a cat rescue built in!On weekdays and weekends the place is packed with people playing together. Everyone is very cool, mean people are not appreciated.

I love this place! Its definitely for fans. Lots of UK seemed memorabilia, tease, and a game room where you can play games and connect with other fans. The stores owner was incredibly nice. So wonderful to see cute little boutiques with amazing staff!!!

Wonderful place to go. Have a great selection of games to purchase and other interesting items. Very appealing as 5 dollars allows you to use any of their board games and their comfortable spaces to play games all day. They even have an option to rent out a private room for a reasonable price. Patrons are very friendly and often include new people in their games if someone wants to join.

Visited from out of town but had a great time geeking out at this game store. The space also doubles as a stray cat rescue so tabletop gaming+cool cats to socialize with equals a win for me. They have tea for sale but do not have a tea serving area ready yet although there are snacks available for sale. However from what i overheard the owner is very welcoming and allows people to bring in outside food/drinks. Did i mention they have a life size Tardis and Dalak that was actually featured in the show!! Do yourself a favor, host a campaign here and keep places like this kickin!

Ran across this while heading towards Burbank decided to stop by. Name is very fitting as teas and games are present. Went in for their open mic comedy night, definitely worth checking out. This is one of my favorite board game shops in all of the valley. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They have extensive knowledge of board games and give out excellent recommendations and have a great selection of board games to purchase. They also have a bunch of gaming accessories and pop culture items available for purchase. On top of that, the shop has a great selection of loose leaf teas to purchase. There are also a couple of friendly store cats that just add to the great experience.It is also a great place to meetup with some friends to play board games. It is a $5 cover charge and you get to play games from the shops game library. A lot of the games in the library are games they sell in the shop, so you can test them out before you buy them.

This place is fantastic, the owners are extremely nice and helpful. Like get on the floor and find the thing you want helpful. I love this place.

They also have a great game selection and to make things even better theres a cat that lives there! A must visit location that i recommend to all my friends visiting burbank!!

I was looking to buy the D&D starter kit for me and my 10yr. Saw it at Target but wanted support a local store. So glad I did. They were super helpful and friendly.

This is a great place to take the family if you love board games. There selection is extensive. Also, they sell British teas and candies. There is always something going on here, whether it a local flea market, Dr. Whi night, Harry Potter night.. a very interesting place.

If you are looking for good tea, or a friendly game, its hard to beat this place. Most of the patrons will invite you to join their game or even teach you a new one if you like.There are also fun events happening all the time.Theres a cat rescue on site, but the shop is kept clean and I didnt have a problem despite being allergic.

First time visiting them have a great selection of teas specially made by them. Also a huge selection of games to play and several cool rooms to play them in.

Absolutely love this place! So much more room at this location then their prior two. Tons of room for gaming, out lots of shopping space and the best part is Diagon Alley where they hold events like Art of the TARDIS last weekend, in which I was a vendor for Doctor Who custom bracelets.

This place was awesome!!! We had such a great time playing their large selection of games. The owner was super friendly and made amazing suggestions on games to play. They also had a cute cat going around greeting everyone and just being a cat. If you are there to play games I suggest you take your own drinks.

Amazing new location! Kitty adoption center, geeky tea options that are all very delicious, board game lounge with geeky themes and tons of space, tournaments, and awesome foods from England. Got some black currant jam and its so good! Definitely recommend.

Even without sitting down to play any games, I had such a fun experience. Every part of the store is interesting to look at, especially the tea room, which smells absolutely incredible. The walls are covered in nerdy decor and if youve ever been a fan of anything fantasy or sci-fi (Doctor Who, Star Wars, Harry Potter, D&D, etc.) youll find something to appeal to you.The staff is beyond friendly. When I first walked in, they greeted me warmly and after I told them it was my first time there, they pointed out everything they had, where everything was, and what I might enjoy. When I came back to buy what I picked up, another staff member encouraged me to walk through the game room and told me about their regular events.In addition to all of that, their cat rescue warmed my heart and their deep and genuine concern for the cats is incredible.As someone somewhat new to the area, Geeky Teas & Games made me feel like I belonged there. My experience exceeded my expectations, and Im definitely going to make it a point to stop by again and bring some friends to play in the game room.

Her expansive and well maintained game library is home to almost any game you might wish to play. The selection of goodies and games for purchase is not bad either. Know never to greet Mr. President while he sleeps should you not desire a place on the list of shame and always wash your hands. Enjoy the cleanest restroom in a game store I have ever seen!

Geeky Teas is a true Community Shop: hub of activity, tabletop games, movie nights, writers workshops, all finely dressed up by a small boutique provisioned with sundries of gastronomic and fashion delight! Its a strange little place, in the most wonderful sense of the phrase.

Felt at home from the first time we visited, relaxed yet interesting vibe. The kind of place you just want to hang out. Ill be back again! Geeky Teas & Games very much felt like a nicer game store with cafe seating. I know they hope to get to where they can serve tea as well, but they arent there yet which I didnt realize going into the store. They do have loose leaf tea for sell.Both of the owners were very nice and send like really good people. I went for a KeyForge tournament and other than starting late it was really very well. My first impressions are very good. I look forward to going again.

Super cute shop for tea and board games! You can grab a quirky tea, play a game, peruse a little art gallery, and buy very British snacks. I didnt have time to get the real scoop on how the gaming works but I did score a few fun gifts. 10/10, would shop again!

Typical game store with a large variety of board and card games. Friendly staff and if youre a geek, youll enjoy the TARDIS and Dalek they have. But what is great here is the back room where you can rent games to play. So you can hang out, play games and have fun with friends before buying a game youre not sure about.

You cant go wrong with this store! Its beautiful, wonderfully staffed, and provides you with a large assortment of games to buy or play. If you need something ordered, Donna will usually be able to have it for you within a few days.

:). Board game selection is more than enough to get you through a couple hours. The roaming cats are friendly and so is staff. Power went out and they got an electrician to fix it and brought on candles in the meantime. Overall a cozy, geeky place to be on a Saturday.
