Now that were coming up on the 2yr anniversary of being in our home I figured that it might be time to do a review. The folks up a Clayton in Burleson were pretty great to buy a home from. They worked hard to coordinate a complicated process. For us we were paying off a existing mortgage, getting rid of a old home and setting up a new one with a new mortgage. This was a complicated process that they helped us through and we are appreciative of that. They did a great job of not only making it a great experience but of always being there to answer questions, solve problems, and just help out in whatever way they could. Their contractors they recommended were also pretty great and got the job done timely and right. Our home was built in the Belton, TX factory and weve been pretty satisfied so far. The home seems to be well built. During the recent winter weather events with the power outages our home was absolutely rock solid. We were apart of the rolling outages and our home did a great job of keeping us warm. It never dropped more that 1 or 2 degrees Fahrenheit per hour and we came out of the freeze with plumbing intact. In fact our home also does a fantastic job in the summer with handling the heat and I believe all of this can be attributed to Claytons smart energy home upgrades. Other than a few pieces of trim that have popped off the wall (that we easily fixed), weve had little to no issues. They even courtesy called us before the freezing weather to remind us to winterize and even made a couple of recommendations (this was almost 2yrs after we moved in). Hopefully this eliminates any questions about customer service after the purchase. The manager of the Burleson location, Carl, is great and will work hard along with the rest of their team to provide good service like you would hope for. If youve ever been on the fence about visiting, then I would say give it a shot because I dont think youll be disappointed.

My husband and I went looking to see what was out there. We are planning on purchasing within the next 6 to 8 months. Casey was very helpful in showing us everything they had on their lot and answering our questions. We found one we fell in love with and plan on talking with her again when we are ready.

They will milk you for all youre worth on the trade-in. Will double-dip cost from trade-in and charge it to buyer as well. Charging the seller for new skirting on a house and the buyer as well. Nearly $20,000 in deductions on a home booking at near $47,000. Only $1,500 to repair but book the house as average instead of good or great? Also cashed our deposit check before any deal was done thus making us wait 7-10 days for a refund. Stay away from here. Not good seeing the name Carl Nunn a few times combined with deception. Call another dealer, they will treat you fairly as they have us.

Bought my first home recently. Ardon McKinley was awesome. Just weeks from closing and the deal for my land fell through. He stuck with me loaded me up in his car and we went searching for somewhere to put the house. If not for his willingness to help I’d still be over paying for a third floor apartment.

We took a trip to visit Clayton Homes to begin our search for our very first home. We were instantly greeted and helped by Nicolas. What a wonderful experience we had. He took his time and explained everything we needed to know and showed us everything we wanted to see. Nicolas even took his time to answer all of our questions and went above and beyond. I highly recommend him and we will definitely be back to continue to search and hopefully find our forever home!

Clayton Homes in Burleson is the best possible choice for home buying! My husband and I just purchased our first home with Robert Ontiveros. The entire process was so smooth and extremely quick! We have never been more satisfied with a big purchase! Robert and Carl made the process so easy and they were always ready to answer our questions. They made us feel very important and like family! If you are in the market for a new or used manufactured home and you aren’t quite sure what company to go with, Clayton homes is the absolute BEST option. If I could leave 10 stars I would!

Gave them money all requested documents and was told the package was complete then waited and waited every time I called was told to call back later and when I called the finance company they said that Clayton homes said they haven’t heard from me so I will pick up my stuff and head to a more professional place if you want a good house buying experience stay away from Clayton Homes and look elsewhere there are plenty more places in the same area

We went to look at these homes but because we have a prison ministry they denied us access to walk around and take a look at all the homes by ourselves, per the General Manager. We were only allowed inside one and we got the fast food version of a tour. Dont know that we will be back.

Robert and Carl went above and beyond on helping me get my home. The staff we all very helpful and courteous. I would reccomend going to see them. And if you ask Robert nicely you might get him to twerk (work) for you.

Been there twice. The first time I was told it was a waste of time because my payment would be higher than I wanted. Went back this morning ( since I got my own financing) to be told we are very busy please wait inside. We waited for 30-40 minutes and finally left.

Well it was an ok experience at best. As a first time buyer, I wanted to get a sense of what the homes looked like, so I requested to look at all of the models on the grounds and was denied. Told I was only allowed to look at 3. Very off putting for my husband and I. While looking one of the homes that were shown to my husband and I, there were cracks on most walls in almost every corner. The ceilings beams didn’t match up and looked like someone just threw it together. The salesperson said that this particular one wasn’t even in there for 4 months. Really disappointed to say the least. Judging by the condition of that model on the property, we were very concerned and decided to go elsewhere.

I am giving this place three stars... strictly from the staff. I would how ever, give 5 stars to Mr. Robert Ontiveros! I have been to MANY manufactured home lots and he was by far the most professional and made sure to develop a solid foundation so he could better assist us in trying to find a home. He went out of his way to show us about half of the inventory and highlight why Clayton homes are different than any other homes on the market, he made sure we understood all the costs that would be required in set up and what we would be out of pocket . If there was anything I would emphasis to the GM, CEO, CO, Whoever, of Clayton Homes, it would be to make sure that you keep Mr. Ontiveros and hire more gentlemen like him! As far as the new manager, Carl or whatever his name was, the guy from Graham, Id give him a solid 1. I would have probably spent more time and bought from Robert over this guy. As soon as he walked into Roberts office to speak with us you could immediately tell that he has no respect or faith in his employee and repeated everything that was already explained in great detail to us by Robert, again. Not to mention the tension was so strong it made my family and I uncomfortable. Robert was still very respectful towards him and tried to get him to understand our situation but he just wasnt hearing it. He tried to push us into buying a house, (typical salesman) thats fine, but when I make it very clear that we are just looking and seeing what options are out there at what price, I would have appreciated a little respect. Carl did end up running out the front door after we walked out to apologize for making us uncomfortable, which I did appreciate but I still wont by from this location. I would encourage anyone to go here to see these amazing homes and speak with Mr. Robert Ontiveros 100% but be cautious with the manager...

Horrible service, the person who showed us around was dressed in sweats, mumbled, and stayed on his phone the whole time. He showed us three homes at the half point of the budget we gave him, none of which we liked and then said I can show you houses all day but if you arent ready to buy and kind of shrugged. This place was a waste of my time.

We bought a home and moved in the day before thanksgiving.It is Jan. 4th and we are sitting in an RV because NOBODY has been here to hook up the ac/ heat.... Heat will come on but vents are laying on the ground, and under the trailer is now the playground for all the cats in the neighborhood..Still no skirting. Now for the good stuff...The walls are coming apart. For real you can see daylight where the walls go together in 3 places, the ceiling is cracking VERY VERY BAD !! Our home burnt down in august and we lost everything,went here and they were very helpful at first put o a big act..after they dropped of the house, tore up my land, left HUGE messes, half the burnt house is still here..WTF ??? We have tried to get help, now having to seek legal action to try to recoop the down payment of $5,750 for a house we cant live in !! Now they are saying we have to fix everyting, getting a lawyer ! My advise is to buy someplace else and stay away from VMF mortgage
