I recently purchased a used 2018 Ford F-150 XLT over the summer. And as we move closer to winter months i feel BETTER and BETTER about my purchase !!!! I had come there to look at another vehicle but I never made it past the beautiful White Gold color paint job on this F-150. The process of purchasing and getting out the door was seamless. All employees wore masks, practiced social distancing and the showroom was spotless. Everyone that worked to deliver my purchase were fantastic to work with !!!!
Where can I even begin. Joe Wilson and the team at Lucas Ford turned something I never thought was going to happen into a reality. The service department and service manager need help. I called and made an appointment to have my oil changed, tires rotated and a tire possibly plugged. They completed all that I asked, but when I got in my truck to drive off, the alignment was completely off. As I was driving straight, my Ford emblem on my steering wheel was sitting at a 45 degree angle. I called the service department right away and they told me it wasn’t their fault. I than asked for the Service manager and he again reminded me it wasn’t their fault. So I asked, how could it go in driving straight and come out pulling hard to the right? He than began to explain they would take a look at it but would have to charge me. So I’m now being told that I’m going to have to pay for something that they caused. Okay cool, so now you have just lost a customer and I’m going to take my business else where. I’m also going to recommend that no one use this service department because you will have to pay for something they caused.
If you like your car, DO NOT take it to Lucas Ford for servicing. Not even for a simple airbag recall. Loose bolt that secures the airbag and actuator to the steering wheel and a scratched up dashboard. When you take your vehicle to a dealership you expect a higher level of workmanship. You expect the work to be done properly, and your vehicle returned in the same physical condition as you left it.To follow up on your reply. I tried twice to get in contact with your service manager and have yet to hear from him.
Bad I disappoint with the service people.I didnt miss the appointment I went at the time indicated and was told that the mechanics were leaving the facility. This was very disappointing and misleading. I was told to bring it back before 3:00pm. I wasted time and money on this trip.
I purchased my vehicle in August 2017. After purchasing the vehicle,i took it back several times because of s noise I was hearing.. The services department did however looked at the car fixed the problem,but in January 2018 I took my car into to get service and explain that Im hearing a noise again. The management department of the service area came out and told me if they have to check the problem they will have to do another diagnostic test but I will have to pay for it. I stated to why should I have to pay for it because since I bought the car it has been given problems. On January 14,2018 my car battery light and brake light came on and my car shut off on me while I was on my way to work. I called my dealer Bill Owens which did look into my warranty and was able to get the car towed to them. In calling back my dealer he explain to me if I want them to do a diagnostic test I will have to pay out of pocket and if I need to loaner car I will have to pay for that also. My car is still at the dealer ship, I had to take days off from my job to get the problem resolved. Im so unsatisfied with the service department due to when I took it in for servicing i told them that Im still having issues with the car. I even filing a complaint with FTC and would not recommend anyone to that dealer ship thats looking to purchase a car..
Our 2012 Ford Focus experienced some major problems that thankfully were covered by the Ford customer satisfaction warranty. The service department was wonderful. The young woman behind the counter was pleasant and quite helpful. The service techs kept in contact with us through the entire ordeal. If you need your Ford serviced they are the place to go.
So far so good with sales from steve the sales manager whom was my salesman both car purchases .steve is the best his personality and humor helps to make the purchase quick . .and he gets you into what ever it is your looking to drive home in. Service so far is also good .I dont know any names in parts and services .no complaints . Very clean and quiet atmosphere ..
Horrible experience. The guy Russ in the service department was rude. I ask a few questions and he was very sarcastic. Didnt feel welcomed. Anytime that you go to that dealership for assistance, no one wants to help you, or never get a answer, like your not suppose to be there. Will never give Lucas my business!
I generally have a pretty nice experience with this location but recently with the service department it was terrible. I recently purchased a Ford Edge from another dealership and knew something was wrong so immediately I took it to Lucas Ford service Dept because they had treated me well in the past. This time it was TERRIBLE! I called the first day to tell them about my car and checked in later they never relayed message so they couldn’t figure out my car or phone #. Then the topping was I called to find out my vehicle warranty and the person who answered the phone said, “ You need to call the dealership you bought it from, did you even read your contract?” I was appalled! They never even called to say my car was done. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect! Make sure if you have your vehicle there to check up constantly because that man was horrendous!Well let’s add an addendum...12-6-18 they posted to call them and I did and guess what happened?! They said oh we don’t know what your talking about how about u call tomorrow when Dawn is here.12-7-18 I call Dawn she also has no clue what I’m talking about but this time takes my name and number down and says they right person will call you.Same day the service department manager calls...he is almost as bad as the first person I dealt with. He tells me yes I know the problem there was a key confusion....I tell him yes but that was not the problem and tell him exactly what I wrote above. He tells me that basically I was wrong and I never should’ve been given the extended warranty it was cancelled. I said FALSE! Your dealership told me already the correct answer and obviously you guys don’t like business because your customer service sucks! All I can say is I have only spoken to one awesome individual in there and as far as service goes they suck! I wouldn’t suggest anyone do there take the extra trip to anywhere else but them! They don’t deserve even 1 star on the service side 😒
Do NOT get your vehicle serviced here! The employees just lie right to you. I made an appointment todrop my car off for service at 8am and was told it would be ready the same day. At 4pm i got a call saying it wouldnt be ready, in fact they havent even started the work yet! On top of that, they tried to tell me that they never said it would be ready same day. All they are good for is wasting your time!

Thank you Liza for everything that you were able to do following my last post about the condition of my 2013 f 150. I was actually contacted in a very short period of time following my post by the salesman who sold us the truck. Later in the week I was asked by the same salesman to post a retraction, I cannot do that the damage was done when somebody there drove my truck through a mudhole deep enough to throw mud into the engine compartment.

I could rant all day. It’s just bad customer service. I made a long and detailed review about them but I deleted it because I was embarrassed that they where able to make my blood boil so much. It’s just not even worth it no more. I’ll bite the bullet with the 175 dollars and write a bad review. Its just bad all around and embarrassing on both ends. Maybe I’ll become a Chevy fan....😖. Never thought I would say that
Edit - Thank you for your concern Lucas Ford. However, I have already asked on numerous occasions as to how you guys can help get me into a loaner vehicle. Im told I simply have to wait and hope another becomes available. Meanwhile, Ive not had a car for a whole week, and am looking at another whole week while my 1 year old Escape sits in the garage with a busted transmission.
Been here a few times. Started out okay despite them popping my tire on my first visit backing the car off the lift. However each time I return it seems the service is slower and slower. Brought my car in for a single replacement tire and waited an hour and a half mid-day with no one else waiting. Certain things just shouldnt take that long.
This place lacks communication. I had a scheduled recall and no one called to tell me my car was done. My car stayed over night it was a great inconvenience.

I called to get information on a part, and the customer service from sales was absolutely horrible. I was put on a 15min hold and once the representative picked the phone up, I started explaining what I needed help with then he hung up on me .

The service department are almost all a bunch of hacks. The service manager flat out called both me and my wife liers. My wifes car is in for a third time in a month and a half for a check engine light. If it werent for my sales rep I would never do business there again.
Had my moms car for 5 days and my mother missed he chemotherapy worst service ever
