Darren at SVS has been my mechanic for over 15 years. He is down to earth, honest, and provides quality service. I grew up helping out in my fathers mechanics shop and have owned a long line of old cars that inevitably need work. It is refreshing to not have to stress about my cars repairs, being misled into having repairs done that I dont need, or being over charged. Highly reccomend

THIS MECHANIC IS A LOWLIFE THAT DOES SLOPPY WORK. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME!BEWARE!!!SVS put the wrong transmission fluid in my Jeep. Also charged me for a kit that included a gasket which was a complete LIE. Had to take my Jeep to MIDAS for the right transmission fluid, GASKET and to fix the mess SVS caused. Darren refused to give me a full refund (charged for an invisible gasket and the wrong transmission fluid) which doesnt surprise me since this shop is shady.

The absolute best mechanic in the Burlington area. I wouldnt trust my vehicle to ANYONE else. I cannot stress enough how honest SVS is, and how stellar their work is. They do not overcharge and only do the work that is necessary - I never need to worry about being ripped off or having work done that didnt need it.

After years of trying mechanic after mechanic in town, my wife and I have finally found one that we trust with our cars. SVS was very highly recommended by pretty much everyone I asked, and with good cause. Not only was I NOT sold a bill of goods on unnecessary repairs, which is pretty standard M.O. around here, but they also specifically didnt charge me to do something Id asked for, since it wasnt actually needed! An honest mechanic?!?!? Yup.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.I have been to more than 10 different places for my car checkup and servicing and have always been ripped . No service station got me a bill less than $300-500 in the past even though my Honda accord is just few years old. This guy is very HONEST and is very very very reasonable and will only tell issues if it really exist. Definitely recommended.

Darren is super accommodating and honest. I was looking to buy a used car for my nephew and he looked it over and gave me the full scoop on what was going on... he saved us lots of time and money. I have always had great experiences and would highly recommend him!

I have had Daren do work on 2 cars since I moved back to town- about 5 years ago. His work is sometimes 2/3 to half the price of other places and he never does more than is really needed. He gets you in quick for the repairs and is very nice. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his shop. I feel lucky that someone told me about him.

We were looking at a used car and did not have a mechanic in the Burlington area. These guys got it right in, put the car up, popped the hood, gave it a good look and solid advice. Asked for $20. Friendly, knowledgeable. Great experience. If we lived up there, they would have just earned our trust.

Honest vehicle mechanic who is interested in more than the quick buck. I have had these guys take care of two pretty significant repairs and both times was quoted a fair price for the work (both with parts I already had, and when they purchased the parts).I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to a friend and will continue to bring my vehicle here for service.

In response to Nico and Ju c about their Jeep. They called for a price for a transmission service and then scheduled an appointment. We did the service as we have many times. We used Wolfs Head atf which is compatible with Chrysler atf+4. We used RTV instead of the gasket supplied with the filter kit because its better. Its what the factory uses. After the service they called and said we used the wrong fluid and didnt flush the transmission with a machine. To avoid conflict I gave them what they asked for, $160. They then told me that they were having trouble with the transmission before we did the service and now it was worse. I explained that was not uncommon but they should have told us before the service. After taking the Jeep to Midas and having them do the exact same service the Jeep was the same. They wanted another $60 and I refused explaining we did nothing wrong. Some people.

Darren and his folks do a great job keeping my old cars on the road. Hes one of the good guys for sure.

Most honest auto service youll find ANYWHERE. Ive been taking all my cars here since 2006, and I couldnt be happier. Even though I moved out of town, I still bring my vehicles here. Daren is straight up with what he tells you and and the work he does.

I was traveling through Burlington on a family vacation when my brakes started to act up (of course something has to go wrong). I googled mechanics and SVS popped up with some great reviews. I called them and they fixed the issue even though they had a full schedule and a crammed parking lot to match. I cant thank them enough for getting us back on the road within only two hours!

This guy is full of b.s. dont trust him he will rip you off. I know he did it to me. I wont go back. Got a second and third opinon they both we honest. Good luck Bud make money off someone else not me.
