Burlington location in Wayside. Last August I had an eye exam and purchased glasses. Waited 2 weeks, went to pick them up and they were the wrong prescription. I had to wait 2 more weeks for the correct pair. It is now 9 months later and the left ear piece of the frame broke off that they said is not repairable. I ordered and paid for a brand new pair and have waited 2 weeks. I went to pick up the glasses and ONCE AGAIN they are the wrong prescription!!! I have to wait again for my glasses. I asked to speak to the Manager and they called someone that was only giving excuse after excuse. I have been in the hospitality industry my entire career and there was not one sympathetic tone or gesture coming from this woman.
Went in for a routine eye exam appointment which I made online. I called a month before my appointment to make sure I was getting an eye exam for eyeglasses and contacts which the receptionist confirmed. When I went in I was wearing contacts and the Dr. preformed a 20 min eye exam which was no different from my previous eye exams. When i left the receptionist charged me $75 for a contact fitting and $25 for a copay. They refused to refund me the $75 after I called back but admitted to over charging for the copay by $10. They charged $75 extra for a 20 min eye exam. I will not be returning to for eyes and will be telling friends and family to go elsewhere to avoid being ripped off.
My eye exam last year was wonderful, today I stopped in to see if I could purchase 7 contact lenses to tide me over until I have My annual eye appt in 7 days. Long story short I was told the doc I saw had not been there in years, my RX was written 8/10/19. I had the Rx in hand and due to Covid, yes I am a bit late for exam but out of my control. Young lady was anything but helpful. Will not go back there.
I was called by ForEyes just before my appointment and they confirmed they my VSP insurance details. One i went thru my eye tests, it was informed to me that they they come under out of network. i had to cough up un-necessary charges for their miss-communication.
I walked into this store kinda out of convenient because it is across the street from my office, with just a simple question that i had but been having the hardest time to get anyone to help me with elsewhere. My Maui Jim sunglasses was scratched and I would like to replace it WITH prescription lenses. The kind lady greeted me was Jacqueline, she was absolutely awesome. First she sorted out my insurance coverage, which is kinda borderline in and out of network. Then off I went to get my eyes checked by Dr Gill, who was also great, she didn’t try to test me for test that she though I didn’t need (and explained to me why) and took the time to inspect my eyes thoroughly. Again no upselling no BS from Dr Gill, wrote me the prescription, no new glasses needed except for the sunglasses that I wanted to replace. Jacqueline went above and beyond to find the exact model i have and the color of the lenses that i wanted. Jacqueline could have been lazy and said I’m out of network, and the lens colors are only these 3 to choose from, but no, she took the time to investigate and get me exactly what I wanted. Thank you!
I have been to several stores to shop for glasses today and this was by far the best selection and best service. Jacqueline was very patient and really helped me find the right pair. Great experience
Really nice wonderful people here. I am always warmly greeted and I like their selection of frames. Recently, I was helped by Tammy who was so sweet and patient with me.
I went to several stores for my first pair of glasses. Prices ranged from $150 to $300 for one pair of off brand glasses. After looking at For Eyes, I purchased 2 pairs (one brand one not) for under $200 with a few extras such as anti-glare coating and scratch resistance. Great service. The only negative is the wait time to get the glasses.
They took the time to repair my daughters glasses that we bought there 8 months ago for free. The fix was a little tricky, but they did it!
I made an appointment online. When I got there, I was told the tech normally does the online appointments, but theres no tech there. I could wait 2 1/2 hours as they had booked someone else in my time I reserved online. The girl there was no help, no manager, nothing. I have a disability, I cant wait that long alone, due to a brain injury. Id have a seizure being out that long. Her answer, call the managerc at 1pm. I tried the 800 number on the website. Customer service? 4 rings right to voicemail, no one available to take my call, even during hours of operation. Dont waste your time or money.
I wanted to give a shout out to the wonderful staff at the Burlington For Eyes! We have been coming to this site for several years to purchase glasses; primarily because of prices, but also because the customer service is second to none. On a recent visit, we had glasses made up using a prescription from another vendor. It turned out that the prescription was incorrectly transcribed, so the glasses didnt work. For Eyes in Burlington went out of their way to make sure the situation was corrected to our satisfaction - even though the error was not on their side. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

This past January I went and purchased 2 pairs of glasses from For eyes . In May I had my diabetes eye exam and the prescription was off substantially from January . I called and they said come in and well do another exam for free . The doctor who did the exam was excellent and even came to a 3rd prescription which was absolutely great .They redid the 2 pairs for free and were just a pleasure to deal with especially Tammy . Thank you very much It goes to my retail saying that mistakes happen but it all about how you handle them .
Terrible terrible service. Waited an entire month and they hadnt even contacted my doctor to get the prescription. I called several times (5 times) and the response was uninformative. Every call I had highlighted their incompetency. I ultimately got a refund because of their poor staff and the long wait time. Would not suggest.
