New recipe tastes great. All these bad reviews are probably from tobacco smokers. Gross. I support local company. Not lays that is international with profits going to homes in other countries. Support local businesses. I found them on sale for thanksgiving at fareway for 1.98!!! I scooped up a couple bags. Keep doing what you are doing. Come out with small bags for gas stations to get people interested again! Good luck!!

I dont know how they did it, but the old great tasting potato chip from Sterzing is back. This is the flavor I Remember Loving so much as a kid growing up in Ottumwa Iowa. Back in the fifties, we would Drive several times a year to Burlington to buy these potato chips as they were not available in Ottumwa yet. I live in Lincoln Nebraska now, and several times during the year I will order Sterzing chips to be delivered to my house. After they had to stop using the original oil, their scientists went to work and it took a little while but they brought back the original flavor of their classic potato chips. Excellent work Sterzing!

Customer service is above and beyond what I ever dreamed of! They no longer sell “salt free”/no sodium chips, but they allowed me to bring my own ziploc bag for an employee to fill from the production line before they got salted and pay right there at their counter. Thank you sooo much!

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love these potato chips. I live in St. Louis, MO and I have friends who go to visit family in Iowa, and they always bring back a bag of Sterzings chips for me. Ive never had anything like them. That first chip makes me forget my own name, and the rest of them keep me smiling blissfully for hours. THANK YOU!!!!

I bought a bag in Urbandale at the Hy-Vee just to see what everyone’s been talking about the difference in taste. I used to live in Burlington most of my life and never have been a huge fan of servings but did buy a bag once in a while but oh boy these are not like the old chips. Sorry guys, you’re not there yet good luck! I definitely will not be buying another .

I always looked forward to buying Sterzings on vacation in Iowa where I grew up with them and taking them back to Albuquerque, NM. I heard you were forced to change your recipe. I can eat them, but their unique, hometown flavor is gone. Sad this has happened. Hope you can still work on the recipe.

Not sure what is going on but the last bag of chips I bought on Saturday smell and taste old. Not sure what has happened.

Used to always pick up a few bags to take home when traveling through Iowa. Sadly, the change in product based on new gov regulations has ruined the taste. There is no doubt that this company will suffer as a result. Government interference at its best. 🙄

My grandma in Cedar Rapids always had these chips on her table. Totally remind me of childhood! Delicious and so happy I can order them online (since I live no where close to get them)!

The chips that have recently been selling are terrible. I think the gluten-free is the cause. I will no longer buy them.

I use to love these chips ever time I traveled north I took a case home, I use to order through the mail if I wasnt coming up but the last time and this time they have changed them, they are sliced thicker and not as crispy. I have eaten them for my whole life no more

Just moved back to iowa from Arizona and finally..SterzingsYuk!I thought maybe we got a bad bag but nope they are now tasteless wood chips.Hope the original returns soon I sure miss them. Others are saying the same thing. Lower price wont help as they are awful.Zero stars.

Not the chips I remember!!! If you are going to make chips that tastes like Lays than sell them at the Lays price, hope you can bring back the old chips taste I didnt mind paying the price for the Sterzings taste.

Purchased at HyVee. Tasteed like lard and not very crispy. They were $1 more than other brands. I wasnt impressed. I prefer Lays and Old Dutch over these.

I grew up with Sterzing potato chips as a staple picnic, snack, or just plain comfort food. Nothing can take their place. Might get a few tough because they have had to sit around in an opened bag or bad batch, but never been anything to take the place of my beloved Sterzing potato chips. I just bought a bag of sterzings new recipe potato chips tonight and let me tell you they are nasty and they leave a funky after taste in my mouth afterwards so Ill pass on these and stick with lays.

Every time I come back to Iowa, I fill my trunk with your chips. They are amazing.
