Could a store be worse than this? I hardly think so. I made the mistake of just ordering about 8 pieces. I did not watch what the woman was doing. She put it all in a brown bag. The total was $48. I was shocked I just left. Opened the bag to find she had put in 3 pieces I never even asked for. Let the buyer beware. My own fault, but what a horrible price and service clearly terrible.

I went here because I wanted a nice treat. The lady at the counter was kind of rude, and said that I needed to speed up because it was her dinnertime. I chose cotton candy that cost $$3.50!! I tried it 5 minutes later, and it tasted revolting. I would not recommend to go here

Customer service here is worse than bad. They have been downright RUDE to me every time I have gone. I will not go back after my last visit. When I arrived woman behind counter was on the phone and ignored me (which was fine). I was there to purchase my 2 1/2 year old a small piece of candy for a special treat. After the woman finished her phone conversation she cut into me over making sure my daughter didnt touch anything (she hadnt even tried, she is very well behaved and I was already verbally coaching her about keeping her hands to herself). The clerk said to me Excuse me! Make sure your daughter no touch ANYTHING. You no sample ANYTHING. Keep your hands to yourself! I was a bit shocked, especially since she didnt say welcome or, hello, or can I help you find something or anything like that. I told her straight up she was being unnecessarily rude and she said No I not being rude, YOU being rude. At that point I took my daughters hand and took my business elsewhere.

Woman behind the counter was so rude and kept starring at my kids like they were stealing from her. Totally unenjotabke experience when we are spending WAY too much money on her crappy candy. Dont waste your time, go to the amazing chocolate shop just down the street.

Do not go here! The prices are not labeled and they make up the prices at the register. They are a rip off. The candy isnt even made there. Stay away! Theres no Vermont charm or integrity in this establishment.

Very little if anything is marked. We ordered four pieces of chocolate and it came to $23! This is the first review I have ever given because it was that egregious.

Candy was uncovered and stale looking and the woman didn’t even look up as we walked around. She was on speaker phone the entire time.

Straight up false advertising.I went into this store a few months ago with my littler brother and he wanted to get these things we always get for my father when its Fathers Day. They were advertised as about $1.50 a pound. It was a very clear sign posted right next to them in the case they were displayed in.We decided to get a pound of the candies and went up to the register. The clerk was on her phone and not paying attention to us, which is fine. I presented my $1.50 and the candies and she told me that it was priced at $2.50 a pound. I pointed to the sign which clearly read as $1.50 a pound but she stood by her blatant lie. As I just wanted to get out of there at that point I gave her the money and walked out.The candy was good but it honestly was not worth that and I completely believe all the other things people have said in their reviews. Dont go to this business.

I was charged $4 for 6 gummies, although I only had $3 to spend. She is so rude every time I go. It’s too expensive. Don’t waste your time. The gummy’s are also stale.

Horrible experience. I was rushed to make my decisions and when I asked for 2 of something the woman put in 4 without me knowing. I dont blame her either, when it came time for check out the total was $37 for just over a pound of chocolate. The price is not listed anywhere in the store for price per pound in the showcase. FYI its $29.99/lb. Not worth half of that. Never going back.

Customer service here is absolutely terrible. I have given this place a second chance and my experience here was even worse than the first time I came. Too bad the service is so bad or I would actually shop here.

Arrived at the store 6pm on a Monday. The clerk was standing in the way of the door vacuuming the mat. I looked at the hours - they didnt close until 9. As my boyfriend and I went to step into the store, the clerk glared at us and begrudgingly turned off the vacuum. We went in to look for a few specific candies for a recipe, but also wanted to browse. The clerk stood with her hand clutching the vacuum nearly the entire time we were there (which was less than 5 minutes). She spoke very poor English and kept demanding we tell her what we wanted, Im assuming so she could get us out of the store. I tried to say we were just browsing but she interrupted with, No. What you want?!Finally I caved and asked a couple questions:Do you have this, but smaller? -No.Do you have white jelly beans? -Yes, what flavor.Oh, I dont care, I just need white jelly beans. -No! What flavor! Coconut? What flavor??Coconut is fine. -How much?Just a little. - Quarter pound minimum, you have to.So I agreed to the quarter pound, and tried to continue browsing. She kept asking what else I wanted. I asked if they had any green licorice. She retorted that theres no such thing as green licorice, it only come in black and red, as if Im some sort of moron to even think about multicolored licorice. After the licorice remark, I was ready to drop everything and leave. I was very unhappy with the selection and even more unhappy with her attitude. I told her nevermind, I dont want to jelly beans anymore. She yelled at me, saying that shes already bagged them and I have to buy them now. Regrettably I shelled out the $2.90 for 1/4 lb of coconut jelly beans just to get her to stop being rude to me and so I could leave. Right when I stepped onto Church Street I realized I should have just walked out jelly bean-less, but thats beside the point.Let me tidy this up by saying that is the WORST service I have ever had, anywhere. That clerk made me hate the business, regret ever considering it as a decent candy vendor, soured my evening, made me feel like a fool. I will NEVER go back there, and I will advise everyone I know against going there. I have never written a review of any business before, let alone a bad one, but the treatment I received from that clerk was beyond horrid and absolutely unacceptable towards a customer.
