Great selection of accessories and ammo. Guns sold on consignment. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I dont get all the negative reviews, Ive always enjoyed my visits there and come away with something I cant live without.
I WILL RECOMMEND THIS GUNSHOP TO EVERYONE.
They have awesome ammo selections, decent gun selections. The reloading section is excellent, and the ammo prices are EXCELLENT!!! The only down side is lack of staff, and wait time for checkout or information. I do recommend this place because of its prices.
Went to this store on Saturday. Im interested in reloading and they took the time to explain the many aspects. Had great prices, better then all the other local stores. Also had a magazine Ive been looking trying to find for a long time. They have my business for a long time coming.
What an amazing selection of gun stuff! I went there today for the first time and was pretty impressed with the amount of guns, rifles, and shotguns that they had. I picked up some ammo for my Mark III. Not only was it the cheapest Ive found, but they had a lot of options for really good .22lr ammo. The employee I spoke with was really friendly. I will definitely be going back!
Great selection of guns, ammo, and related items. The staff were very nice.If you dont see something then ask since they have a LOT of additional inventory in the warehouse.
Not the best selection. Staff seemed knowledgeable but not entirely eager to assist. Had a good selection of items related to reloading. Okay ammo selection, but not extensive enough to have the more unique cartridges. 7.62x39 extremely overpriced.
Sure, theyve got a great selection, but their customer service ruins it for me. It seems every time I go in there, somebody they know comes in and gets helped before the line of others. I dont plan on going back.
VERY VERY VERY RUDE STAFF. I know most mom amd pop gun stores have this were better than you are attitude but these guys are over the top !!! Some huge fat kid behind the counter completely blew me off while I was trying to check out. lost a customer and repeat business because of his attitude. Wont go back here again. LOUSY customer service. If you like being treated like a sub human then this place is good for you.
I went looking for some reloading gear and was pleased with the selection. I was treated with respect and dignity. After purchasing a Lee Press and some dies and hand primer the gentleman behind the counter gave me a friendly warning about not believing everything I read on the internet when it comes to reloading and to make sure I use only the powder manufacturers recommended amount and not some guys secret to better ammo. He actually cared and wanted to make sure I was going to be safe. When I got home and opened the press I found that one of the auto-primers was broken (not Kesselrings fault as the box had never been opened), the next day I called and informed them of my situation and they said to come back and they would make it right. Sure enough when I show up the gentleman who helped me the day before helped me again. He was on the phone when I walked up to the counter and set the press down, but even while on the phone he opened the box to inspect the press. After the phone call he went and grabbed another Lee press and opened it to make sure everything was intact and then just traded me and asked if there was anything else I needed. That is what I call excellent customer service and that is why I will be returning there in the future. Excellent quality, excellent customer service and cared about my safety, what more could you ask for? Oh ya, the Lee press was also $13 cheaper than buying it online and that is just the item price would have been a little more with shipping and handling.
I have been going to this shop over the years. I will first say that their prices are unbeatable around. I live in Bellingham right now and hunted everywhere around town for .308 ammo. Kesselring not only had the ammo I was looking for, but they also beat Cabelas, Wholesale sports, and the local shops price by $10 (35% cheaper). They compete with online prices not large retail shops. I understand where they are coming from when it comes to customer service. It gets old dealing with people coming in kick the tires and end up never buying anything. The only reason I have ever had to wait for help is because they are dealing with a customer who is asking lots of questions and you can tell have no intent to buy anything. I think people come here and get mad because they dont know what a small town shop feels like anymore. I love this place! You can ask them a question and they can answer it in one sentence because they know what they are talking about not because they are rude. All of the big shops give you obtuse answers that dont always get to the point. If you have questions go in and tell them what you know and have them fill in the blanks. These guys have been doing this for years, expect an expert staff not a bunch of trainees that watched a video and were sent to the sales floor. Keep up the quality work!
Ever seen High Fidelity with John Cusack? Thats how these d-bags act about anything and everything gun-related. If youre not too knowledgeable about something prepare to be patronized. I brought in my G36 looking for a good optic solution and was lectured on the legalities of my firearm and then told my Knights Armament rail wasnt a real picatinny and then further informed that no EOTechs they sold would work because theyre all geared for AR-15s.Well excuse me for not being like everyone else and their grandmother and walking in with a Bushmaster! Not only are their people behind the desk elitist and uninformed, theyre also unwilling to accommodate casual conversation. I guess Im just spoiled coming from gun stores in the south where I grew up, where if I walked in with a gun that they werent used to seeing, theyd go out of their way to find me a solution and GET A SALE rather than acting like an ornery sourpuss thats having his time wasted.Do your research online and then buy from anywhere else - their prices arent even competitive. My friend bought a magazine holder for his Blackhawk leg holster, and when asked for ID, he showed the clerk his military ID. The clerk then says, Oh if you wouldve shown me that sooner I wouldve given you a discount. Wow, thanks? Needless to say we walked out without purchasing anything.Dont bother with these guys.
Friendly, Easy carside pick up
They have a nice selection but thats the only good thing I can say about this place.Had to drive for almost two hours because they had the gun I wanted in stock. They were friendly on the phone and put the gun on hold for me however when I arrived it took me a good ten minutes of trying to be able to get somebodys attention !It was a busy day for them but everyone was having the same problem, nobody was being helped ! (I dont mind waiting in line as long as they are paying attention to someone else)I dont have a CPL yet so under RCW 9.41.090 paragraph c I had to wait 5 business days but they have a different policy ! A TEN day waiting period (business and non business days) which is not required by the law but they are free to impose their own policies.Bottom line is, I would not recommend buying anything from this shop unless there is absolutely no alternative.
I dont understand the negative comments in here. As long as you are patient and wait your turn these people will go above and beyond to fulfill your needs and explain anything you want. If you want anything they will get it for you if at all possible.
Good collection of gun accessories! Really miss the days they sold firearms! They had a solid collection!
I am not that big into shooting, but I have a lot of friends who drag me to the shooting range from time to time. This would be a good place to shop for friends who are into Soldier of Fortune magazine and like all things Country and shooting, because they have pretty good selection of books and magazines that are all about shooting.
I have been a customer there for years, and think they are very knowledgable and helpful,I would recommend them to anyone wanting to purchase a firearm or shooting gear.
Top notch fire power!
I have never had any problem with the store.Great people great prices.
Awesome place for anything hunting, besides high caliber rifles. They stopped selling hunting rifles there.
Great help. Good knowledge. Quick service.
Brian is happy when i offer to buy the scar in stock that he has, but i tell him he will need to ship it to me because i am out of state. Keep in mind, this is the height of the craziness that has been going on, guns are impossible to find, especially scars. I have been working part time LOOKING for a scar every day for weeks, hours and hours each day. I finally find one at a price i can afford and the guy flips the switch on me. Brian starts speaking angrily, like he is disgusted that i am not an instore customer. He says: thats only for instore customers I tell him that mny money is no different than theirs and that i will fill out a positive google review for the transaction, something not every local customer does. He says to call him back in the morning. I do, he flips his story and says now that he cannot sell it to me becaues the government MIGHT make them illegal in the future, What? Its not illegal to ship them now and lots of people are shipping them now, whats the problem? If the store wants to not ship to people outside their area, fine thats their choice, but dont be angry at me and dont have disgust in your voice when you talk to me. I have never been treated so poorly on the phone in my life, Brian should not be on the phone talking to customers if he acts like this. I actually feared calling them back in the morning and having to deal with this angry man. Shameful. Dont spend your money here, they dont deserve it, run them out of business.
Went in to buy a new 1911 and was ignored for about 10 minutes when the store was not too busy. Saw how other customers were being talked to like they were idiots and decided to go down the road to the new skagit gun store instead. It wont be long before these guys lose much, if not all, of their business to the nice folks over at skagit.
Quick and fast guys knew what they were talking about
I felt judged from the moment I walked in the door. Maybe if I had a full bushy beard and wore a red plaid shirt I might have been made to feel like a customer rather than an intrusion, though I doubt it.
From what I noticed they are pretty spendy on there, they do not sell fire arms anymore
Great Family Business, Straight shooters ;)
