Stopped by while I was out riding to grab a few poker chips. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good selection of bikes, parts/accessories and clothes/collectibles.

I ordered A switch and was told it would be 10 to 14 days. Found the switch I needed in Myrtle Beach and the price was $50 cheaper and was a in stock item. Was told by the service counter that the part was not a in stock item and would have to be special ordered. Called to cancel the order and get a refund to my credit card and was told I could not receive a refund and that I would have to wait for the part 2 Be shipped. I Well never buy from these people again and well advise all my friends how corrupt and conniving and stealing they are. The part was $50 cheaper in Myrtle Beach than in Burlington at down home country Harley Davidson.

My self and husband have been loyal customers for many years. Now even our son and his wife ride and have become loyal customers. Today we were shown that our loyal customer service means nothing to them as the merchandise manger wouldn’t even come out and speak on a situation that needed to be taken care of. It’s sad that we will be taking our business elsewhere due to the fact that being loyal and using our local store and ordering items and due to the item not working out before leaving store they wanted to charge a 20% restocking fee of a $125.00 item and them make $25 and their customer loss and make more money for themselves. We will no longer service our bike or purchase anything else. We will take our business to another store where we won’t be taken advantage of. I know we are just a couple of customers and it won’t matter if we go else where but I feel like it’s wrong what they did and don’t let them take advantage of you . Go where they take care of you.

Great place and great professional and friendly staff! We were passing through and just stopped in but the two employees working made us surely plan to return. The gentleman on the floor was helpful and knowledgeable about the bikes and products and the cashier was also very helpful and friendly. 500 miles from home on a road trip, my charging system went out on my 94 Ultra. Came in Friday afternoon at 4:30, Will and his crew got me out at noon on Saturday with a new charging system. Great work, and the price was more than fair. I was expecting the worst from previous dealership experiences, but got the best. Very pleased.

Most if my dealings here was with the service department. Theyve taken care of my problems promptly and done good job.

Its a huge place from the highway, until you get inside. Very small. They didnt have much in anyway. Clothes or bikes.

Bad review couple years ago. Improved tremendously over two years. Therefore, I am now giving this dealership 5 stars. Immediately greeted coming in the dealership. Everyone very helpful. Down Home is down to earth. The first time I visited Down Home everyone was very friendly and helpful and several visits later that trend continues. The sales people are awesome. The parts guys do an amazing job and the service department has been great every time. Even the people in the finance department are very casual and easy to deal with. All in all, I couldnt ask for a better experience whether its shopping for a new ride, new gear, looking to add some new shiney bits or getting maintenance done. Like I said in the first line, Down Home is down to earth, and I mean it. Cool people, cool rides and cool events. You owe it to yourself to give this dealer and its staff a try.

Came to inspect my Honda CBR 500 and was pleasantly surprised at the customer service! Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. They also have a great selection of riding gear, that is safe, yet stylish.

I love the attention to detail they have on their stock as well as the selection of clothes and more! My opinion of them is getting better every time I go. Im finding everything Im looking for except one thing. They have excellent sales also! They always have someone to wait on me a and they are more than happy to go out of their way to check on something if I cant find it... Im impressed with their time and effort!!!

My husband and I are attempting to visit all the local Harley Davidson stores(within 200 miles), this summer. We are avid motor cycle enthusiasts. This store was super nice. Lots of bikes, new and used. Many items/accessories we havent seen at other stores. Staff was especially friendly, greeting us at the door. Will visit again, Im sure.

Went to be a part of an event and ended up walking out with a 2020 custom street glide!. Jp was great and really helped make it happen for us.

Awesome place to shop for a hog.The only thing I didnt like is I had had to look for a shirt in my 2x size.then when I found one it wasnt the shirt I was wanting to buy.There was no skull caps either.Sad cause I love skull caps lol.

Great place for all of your bike needs, and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff, especially over the phone. Not sure what changed, but after being told over the phone by the service person that they were not very busy, and had little to nothing on the schedule, I set an appointment for the next day thinking the work on my bike would commence that very day, only to discover that actually my bike would be sitting for several days before the work would start. I was led to believe that the work would take six hours or so to complete, with no mention of the fact that it would sit for several days. Fact is, the work was totally optional and not due to any mechanical issues at all. Long story short, I could have been out riding, and enjoying the beautiful weather instead of waiting at the back of the line. This will indeed be the last time I ever spend a dime at this particular dealership. I don’t like to make assumptions, but truly feel that this is not the place for people that look like me, and will absolutely make sure that everyone I know, and everyone they know is aware.

I stopped into this dealership while on a road trip. Took a break from the rain. Looking around I found the dealership t-shirts were made in the USA. Needless to say I had to buy one. Stop in and see them, sales people were wonderful. Even made sure I got my hot coffee to warm me up.

Awesome parts department! We were on the road traveling from Richmond, VA to Spartanburg, SC when we noticed a missing exhaust mount. We called 5 minutes before closing and the gentleman at the parts desk stayed 45 minuets after closing till we could get to the dealership. He went above and beyond!

Got a 1994 fat boy not from down home harley-davidson. so i went in to get an owners manual . the wrong one was sent . so the parts guy ordered another one without question . a few weeks later i went in for a helmet. the lady that runs the clothing side helped me for about an hour. she must have got 5 or 6 out of the back for me to try. when i left the place my helmet fit perfect. i give 5 stars because i did not buy my motorcycle there. and they were awesome to me . hats off to the parts guy and clothing manager .

Two floor employees laughed and mumbled while stareing at me and a sales person while he was answering my questions. When I made eye contact with them they turned and ran. My $ 400.00 was then turned to just a quart of oil cause I needed it. Im not a clown and dont need the added stress of trying to figure out what was funny. I will do my shopping online from now on.JT the parts guy is very knowledgeable and polite.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I entered into the facility to view both motorcycles and apparel. after 10 minutes of walking around on the sales floor I used the restroom facilities then returned back to the sales floor without being greeted by any sales associate that was clearly not occupied with other customers. I continued to walk around the entire facility for an additional 7-8 minutes and still was not greeted by any sales associate in an uncrowded facility. Not only did I received poor customer service, I received NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, not even a visual acknowledgement. Gender race or creed should not prevent any customer from receiving quality customer service!

Walked in asking to purchase a piece for my HD Helmet that kept the visor from flying off. I just bought it a couple days before. The young lady said it would have to be ordered and wouldnt look for one or take one off the helmets in stock. After I cooled down a bit from what I thought was poor customer service, I asked a manager and after looking it up he figured it out and gave me a new piece while ordering another one. She must have been very new. JT took good care of me and got me back on the road riding again. I will be back.
