They did a great job installing the muffler I brought with me and were able to start on it right when they opened. The price and time to install were very reasonable, Ill definitely come here again with anything I need done.

My check engine light kept coming on and going off after several trips to my local mechanic who Ive trusted for years we determined there was a problem with the exhaust system and most likely the catalytic converter he suggested that I checked with some local shops that specialize in exhaust systems I shopped the local dealers for the car and several regular muffler shops the pricing an estimator on what was actually needed was all over the place a friend of mine said that him and a couple of his buddies had had work done at a i m and they were all very satisfied with the work in the price they say theres no appointment necessary and that is very true this is one of the most accommodating shops you will ever go to the entire staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating and every way to customer service when I told them I was there for a catalytic converter their first question was why and lets check your car and make sure thats exactly what you need they took the car in evaluated what needed to be done at no charge they gave me an estimated price of the repairs and explain to me there was some things that they couldnt give a price on until they took the system apart such as O2 sensors and gaskets on the manifold when I received the estimate I was dumbfounded the price was way lower than the dealerships and all the local muffler shops I scheduled an appointment had to work completed they showed me all the damaged parts and the reasons why they needed to be changed and the price was still below all of the rest of the local shops I went to just to have the catalytic converter replaced this place is amazing you can send your wife your girlfriend your daughter or your brother-in-law who knows everything about cars and everyone is going to get a good deal quality workmanship and the pricing is very very fair

I have a 2001 jeep wrangler that had a bad catalytic converter. I first went to alamance muffler they wouldnt touch it. They said that it might have a exhaust leak if they replaced the catalytic converter, or placed the whole assembly. Which was no big deal the whole assembly had already been replaced before in about 2013, and it had a small exhaust leak anyway but not bad. So I went to AIM muffler they give me a quote I went back a week later and left it for them. They called me the next day saying that it was fixed. It looked good and they even moved the catalytic converter over a little so when I went offroad that my axle wouldnt hit the exhaust pipe, and they must have tightened the bolts better my exhaust leak wasnt there anymore. I will be going back again for them to put some performance mufflers in a marauder very soon.

Mike (the owner) spent 25min on the phone answering all my questions with thorugh answers. He was very very knowledgeable and i definitely will be taking my jeep to him for the upgraded exhaust. Steve hooked me up and midday Friday I showed up needing some exhaust mods before a local car meet. Thos guy knocked it out and had me back in my car in less than 3hrs. Work was great, welds were solid and clean!! These are the same guys my Dad always used on his Novas and C10 pickups so I figured this was the place for me!!

Great service at reasonable prices. The staff are all great. (That Steven guy is a little strange though if you ask me, or anyone else for that matter) Just kidding! Hes a stand up guy! They do inspections as well and are honest hard working people. Never had a problem here and always leave feeling valued and taken care of.

Recently visited this shop trying to get my car to pass inspection. Walked in and a guy named mike was very polite at first. He gave me a quote on the price. So I told him I would be back in an hour and when I was leaving I heard him say the “N” word. I didn’t believe it at first until the old lady he was with said she was tired of “N” words coming to the shop. I live two blocks from that shop. Sad to hear that they haven’t got with the change of times. Very disappointed from a local business I live so close to.

Very fast and friendly! Dropped my Subaru off thinking I was in for an expensive repair and a long day without my car. Roughly three hours later, I was back on the road and the cost was under $75!

Old man there (I’m guessing the owner) was being rude, I was just trying to explain to him what I wanted done but he treated me like an idiot, then they tried to charge me $400+ to do a simple job. Would not recommend.

One of the few places that repairs autos that doesn’t want to sell you the most expensive option - I was given several options for replacing the exhaust on my car. I’ve not had that happen in the past - great folks, great prices and excellent service.

Manager has a very nasty attitude when i went to drop my car off. I had called ahead of time and spoke to someone and when i got there was no one at the service desk i waited for almost 10 mins and no service. Went to work area they talking not acknowledging customers coming in. Very Bad Sevice !!! Will not go back.

I came to this shop for a full custom exhaust on an 72 A-Body. The customer service here was very poor. Service technicians talked down to me and appeared as if they did not want my business. The owner came by during the install several times and made sure I knew he was in the building. The pricing was far from reasonable but I didnt know at the time (do your research first). I had to bring the car back immediately due to the pipes hitting the axle. In summary, do your research on prices and businesses first. I should have been smart enough to know this. I learned my lesson and will never return here. I left with 800 less dollars and a pieced together exhaust to show for it.....
