I got a partial and a cut from salon Nuuvo and they did absolutely amazing! I love my hair and am very happy with the results. The staff are also very welcoming and care for their customers!!

I’ve been to many salons over the years, and this one has it down. The attention to detail for clients experience is impeccable. They’re one step ahead of thinking about what you need. They receive ongoing education as a team. You know you’re getting someone who knows what they’re doing every time. The customer service is consistent and amazing. Erin always takes care of everything I need and is so personable, accommodating and genuine. I know all of these things are the result of the owner, Raychel. She has a passion for hair and she’s an excellent business woman who you can tell cares about her clients and her staff. She’s done a beautiful job with Salon Nuuvo, not to mention a beautiful job with my hair! ♥️ I recommend them to everyone i know. You won’t be disappointed.

I have long fine blonde hair. Curly and frizzy. The mid-section outer layer of my hair had severe breakage. I went to The Chair because I had store credit there to receive a consultation by a head stylist to blend it. The manager sounded confident in her ability to fix it so I agreed. My goodness--complete nightmare results. I left feeling embarrassed about my hair. They went scissor happy and created an obvious step instead of blending it. I wish they were honest with me if they felt it wasnt fixable. If they had told let it grow, I would have done that. I then showed Raychel at Nuuvo my hair nightmare. I read that her hair strengths is fixing hair issues and extensions. She fixed the step!!!!!!!!! She blended it in a way that made it look like layers. She blended highlights perfectly with my blonde shades. Got so many compliments. Wow. Ive been using the Nuuvo mask for a few weeks now and notice how much easier it is to brush and how much smoother it feels. Quality!! I especially enjoy the team-atmosphere at her salon. The atmosphere at Nuuvo rejuvenates my soul.

I had a hair nightmare and didnt know where to turn. Then I was recommended to see Mel what an amazing color artist. She fixed my hair and I was beautiful again. Hight recommend her to anyone

Love coming to salon nuuvo for my haircut, they have greats products most of which are their own line! I love the head and neck massage that they provide when they wash your hair. Also you can’t go wrong with their mask treatments. I usually do the detox mask from their own line but have since purchased it and do at home. Today I tried their Malibu makeover and my hair feels incredible! Not to mention all the staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable. Juliette and Lex are wonderful! Lex does amazing braids 😊

Honestly the salon looks amazing very clean and all around a great environment to be in. Everyone in the salon was in great spirits especially Lex she was very welcoming and so talented!! 5 stars !

I cannot express my experience at Nuuvo anymore or better than how exceptional this salon is developed. The salon is friendly, organized, follows Covid guidlines, and is one of the best salons Ive seen in a while. Lex helped me out and provided great customer service in the front. She was very friendly, kind and considerate.

I never would dream of leaving a negative review of a local business on here, but without going into too much I spent TENS OF THOUSANDS at this salon and have had my hair messed up, services take way too long and have had to wait up to 30-45 minutes when I had an appointment. There were even times my appointments dates/times were completely wrong. I am a very loyal client so I continued to work with this salon because the owner is truly gifted when it comes to platinum blonde (she is just unprofessional and rude)Needless to say, when I got tired of her telling me what I needed to do with my hair and finally stood up and said we are going to do it my way and not yours (after I had a horrific allergic reaction to the products she makes you use even after you have had several horrific reactions before) she decided to “dismiss” me as a client after I have been loyal to her for years and spent thousands of dollars on her services and products. Point being, as a professional I am mortified by this place and would advise everyone to look elsewhere. LA IS A VERY large city and I’d rather have orange hair than ever set foot in this place again. Loyalty means nothing to this owner. I am so disappointed and I doubt I will ever receive the apology I deserve, but I am truly hurt because I even bought thousands of dollars worth of products I didn’t even need during the pandemic just to support this owner. I also let her literally put a business card in a locket that was braided in my hair for my Grammys look. THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS BECAUSE YOUR BUSINESS MEANS NOTHING TO THE OWNER. She has proven that. So sad....PS (after seeing the owner’s response) Your reaction to further try to ‘shame me’ shows your unprofessionalism. You act as if I asked you to break the law or was unreasonable. I just want to use the product that works for my hair and you scolded me and screamed at my assistant because I could not take your unscheduled phone call during a work day to hear you complain about me using a different brand of extensions than what ‘you like’. It was also the temper tantrum that you threw, it was very unprofessional. You need to relax and treat people how they treat you. I was always very kind to you and referred you a lot of business. I am also happy we parted way because now I pay 1/3 of what you charged and am 100 times happier with the professional I hired (Angie @ The Beauty Can). I wish you well but you were completely wrong here. You should never treat anyone the way I was treated by you. I was so loyal to you and supported you as much as I could (which was a lot)...in the end supporting your “small woman owned business” got me treated very poorly. Do take good care

I have been a loyal customer of Raychels since I discovered Nuuvo in 2012, shortly after she opened the salon. She has cared for my hair beautifully through long and short, processed and natural, and no color to masking grays; there is no hair care challenge that she is not up to taking on and prevailing! I converted my husband into Nuuvo customer as well. This review, however, is about my delight in how Raychel helped my transgender child feel beautiful with a spectacular cut and even more by treating her like the special person that she is. Thank you, Raychel!

My day with Salon Nuuvo started a little rocky with covid confusion, but it ended so well. Raychel, the owner is extremely kind, innovative, and passionate about her business. My bleach/sun damaged hair looks soft, light, fluffy abs healthy. She did a wonderful job styling it and chose the perfect combination of products (which shes created herself) to give it a soft healthy look that Im obsessed with. Thank you so much Raychel!

I named it an Excellence experience, holistic, end to end, everything perfect following health protocols, started with temperature check, then @questionarie, everything so clean, so neat, smelling wonderful, clear social distancing in between the chairs, the stylist wearing a mask plus the shield, awesome shampooing, extraordinary hair cut (I’m Billy Solano again) and what about the end, OMG massage on neck and back...Unbelievable my first time there, and will be back forever. Congratulations. We are so lucky and privilege that it is located in Calabasas City, the best place to live, work and have fun along the way!!!

I accepted a request to act as a model for an up and coming stylist.From entry to departure, I was treated beautifully. Rachel encouraged the stylist to listen to my words, look at my facial expressions and body language, etc., to learn my styling needs and desires. Decisions were made that suited my lifestyle. My absolute favorite!!! I cannot say enough great and wonderful things about Raychel and Salon Nuvoo. She has been doing my hair cuts and color for nearly four years and I will never trust anybody else. The color always comes out impeccably (and we have done almost every color available!) and the cuts get constant compliments. The cherry on top is the congeniality of all of the staff!!!

The owner Audley was kind enough to help heal my hair with their products. The Shampoo and Healing Conditioner helped tremendously. I am still trying to get my hair in the condition it was in prior as well as well as neutralizing the orange. Please, make sure to let them know if your hair pulls red, I also would ask a second opinion from a senior stylist if you are working with color at this salon. I commend the owner for caring to help. I highly recommend their shampoo. They also did refund my money.

AMAZING!!!! I had come in to see Raychel Harrison, the owner of the salon. My friend had recommended that I see her after a nightmare experience at another salon. As soon as I opened the door I knew this salon would be incredible. I was warmly greeted by Evan and offered freshly brewed gourmet coffee. Raychel was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything she thought needed to be done to fix the horrible mess the previous salon left me with. She fixed my color to a perfect honey blonde and then she gave me the most beautiful hair extensions Ive ever seen. No one can believe I have extensions. The hair extensions were put in using the newest technology with this cool fusion. Its beyond anything you could dream. No heat!!! My hair feels so healthy my husband cant keep his hands out of it. Now I go in weekly for blow drys. I trust every stylist in the salon. Ive had just about everyone give me a blow dry now and I have never walked out of the salon without my hair looking like a Victoria Secrets model.

I came to Salon Nuuvo after being given a horrible Kelly Clarkson stripey dye job from some salon in Agoura. Im a professional woman in my mid 40s so having Kelly Clarkson hair is simply unacceptable. I met with Tikka and she listened to me have a mini break down about my hair and then she fixed it and it was GORGEOUS. Ive been going to Tikka for almost 6 months months now and I cant recommend her enough. Recently, I moved to Burbank, but will travel back to Calabasas just to see her. So, if youre looking for a stylist that will listen to you and work with you on your hair, then Tikka is the real deal. You wont regret it.
